A while ago I PMed the mule with a plot idea for a Ren Faire type event for the Knights. I am going to adapt it, instead, for the KoD and use it as a smaller type of event so the group can bond!
I will post what I sent to the mule here, and what I got back. I will also post my re-edited PM, which I have not sent yet, here as well, and see what you guys all think about it before I send it out.

Boom! I tried to flesh it out a bit, but it still needs some tweaks and stuff ^^
Premise:
I would like to hold a battle at a Renaissance Faire against a giant youma!
Setting:
The Ren Faire would be a traveling set up, built in a large lot near the forest. It would be old school and have all that fun and charm that such events always bring with them. Not to mention all the good food and fun costumes. It could probably have some solo/RP prompts before the big even that let people actually enjoy the Faire for a bit, too.
Youma:
The youma would be a monster from Earth history, like a Dragon or a Griffin. There is a monster from Arthurian legend called a Questing Beast, which is a mixture of a few different animals and is kind of a bad a**. I think a dragon might be the easiest, but it was also used before, so something else that's as recognizable and fairly common would work well in this setting!
It drains energy to power its attacks, which are varied and generally ranged enough to impact multiple targets. These attacks will be roll based to deal damage of effects against the Order soldiers fighting it, and the civilians its attacking. To drain energy it has smaller, much easier to defeat little mites that collect and bring the energy back to it, but it is not the most effective method of garnering power, and it would need help.
It would have a set amount of HP, and when certain points of its health are reached there would be scripted events until it dies.
Battle:
The battle will be largely for the defense of civilians. The youma will attack during a performance, maybe at a jousting arena or some other kind of large area with seating for a big audience to watch. The youma will have little youma buddies to help it, but they would be one hit wonders with no HP. Killing them would also count toward its HP total, so any roll by an Order member would count. I do not think I would be too picky about RP details: as long as they are rolling within the schedule, it would count.
Chaos, I think, would be there but not to do a large scale battle out in the open (unless they can get away with it IC, or with approval), but to aid the youma by gathering what energy they can and delivering it back to the beast. Their roll counts, then, would go toward their own total, apart from the Youma's HP, and determines the strength of its attacks.
Civilians won't have anything to roll as far as attacking goes.
All characters will have HP/Energy meters of their own, which the Youma can attack (through fight Prompts and shouts).
Character Contest:
I would like for this to be less about Order and Chaos fighting and which side wins, and more about Knights awakening to defend their home. That's why I was thinking it would be for Earth Knights, but it would also make sense for any Knight since they all live there anyway.
I was thinking that people could sign up to play civilians. None of them will die, as far as I can imagine, and once the contest is over they can go back to being quests or can become quests. The characters would be applied for with quest forms filled out, but just for the civilian side of things. It should be made clear that RPing these characters in the event does not guarantee approval without the proper crit and stamp procedure once the event is over. But I think playing a character, even for a little bit, would be a fun way to help flesh out profiles, and give them a glimpse into the head of the character they might want.
If there are any colorists who are open to the idea of doing a contest like this, I was wondering if the winners might be decided by raffle or by roll totals, or something like that. At least one or two, and then if more want to be picked the old fashioned way that would work too. I doubt it would be that big, but it really depends on if anyone would be open to helping out on that front <3
I think the event could still be fun without the character creation, but I also think a boost in Order and especially Knight numbers wouldn't be a bad thing.
My Characters:
I don't think I'll be playing any of my characters for the event, but I will be playing the youma and maybe some nameless, faceless NPCs as needed. If Tony is there, it will be as a civilian and only to help facilitate things. I won't be doing any rolls for either side of the battle itself. I obviously would not be entering the character contest, either.

Having a Greater Youma is a bit problematic however, we do have a suggestion to offer instead. A rank or two in power below Greater Youma, but still incredibly powerful, are Humanoid Youma. These are youma that can talk, that can think, that are really monsters but they are higher-order. If you've ever watched Sailor Moon or would like to look this up look for the Doom and Gloom Girls (also known as the DD Girls). At the end of the first season they were clever enough, and powerful enough, to kill the senshi so this should still give you that epic battle feel without having to sacrifice a youma of enough power that it would take most of the Order faction participating to eliminate it. You are more than welcome to give them Arthurian monster traits such as looking somewhat draconic, or like a unicorn, or gryphon bits. That kind of flavor for a Ren Faire battle is one of the things we really liked about your concept! We love to inject new characters into the playerbase, but our policy has been that player-run plots and single-event plots do not typically include a new character prize. Instead of promising characters up front, we would like to instead have the event run just as you have planned and then, in the end, potentially evaluate it for prizes if there is a very large number of people participating and/or GMs notice a particular shopgoer really going above and beyond. If the decision was made to hand out a prize or two, the GM staff would let you know toward the end of the event, but it is not something that should be discussed or advertised, since it may not happen. We will consider offering other RP-based prizes though! Please let us know what you think? We really would like to see this happen so are willing to work and discuss this plot with you. -- The RP Staff

If we do this around my winter break, so like around late Dec early Jan, I could do headshot things for ren faire... games? i dunno.

Oooo! This seems like a really fun idea. Yay, possible bonding plot!
This would also make Roxy really sad 'cause Ren Faire is going to get demolished xD

There's definitely no time period on it yet, so we can probably swing it around then! I still need to get everything together for approval, which I am working on! And if anyone has any ideas/suggestions I will work them in too ^^
