It's something of a carefree and comical show, but behind the light hearted humor there's a truly immense and rather depressing world.
For instance, the main character is a human who notably doesn't seem to recall ever meeting any humans.

Got hooked on it for a few months. I still watch it on occasion.

That show is awful. I lost many brain cells when I had to watch it when baby sitting my cousin a couple years back, there's no real story line as far as I could tell and I really hate the art.

Divine_Malevolence Jikoniau there's no real story line _ 0.δ What? Granted I only watched a couple episodes since my cousin would switch shows and this only over the space of a couple of days. But as far as I could tell there was no real point to any given episode, just a whole bunch of weird stuff going on that made no sense. I remember my aunt asking me if I could tell what it was about and I told her no, and she agreed with me that there didn't appear to be a plot.

It is a children's show. But saying it has no plot based on that alone is a little off. There are quite a few leading to an overarching plot. Like most of those including Marceline. And I believe all of those that involve the lich.

At first I found it terrifyingly creepy
nowadays, I find it ok when I'm absolutely tired and need a brain numbing show
