Just how small are we talking about?

Members of the Gobiidae Sarab that were born to those who live there (Aka: Not mixed with the Nomadic Usdia but instead have lived within the 'islands' of the oasis) tend of average about shoulder height against their non-Gobiidae counterparts. There are some that are larger due to mix breeding, and there are some that are a little smaller.
The reasoning for this is a little something scientists call "Insular Dwarfism" -- it is difficult to travel from Oasis to oasis, so many stay to these little Islands of spring water and lush plantlife within the oceans of dry desert Sands. And, while there are underwater caves for the Aquatic breeds, the quarters are tight in most areas and it was closed off centuries ago from the rest of the cave systems that introduced the aquatic breeds from the main lands into the deserts to begin with. Because of this, the spirits of nature tended to favor those who were smaller in stature, capable of surviving on fewer resources or move through tighter spaces.
Sounds Cute! How do I join up?
Seathi, Nixie, and Aquatic Mini Mixes: First gens are preferably born into it have lived their their whole life. They're required to be itty bitty like shown above if they are.
Second Gens/Pre-established Usdia Subbreeds CAN join/Breed into it, but they have to in their RP background have traveled there with a herd of Water Ulun'suti to the location. The herd only visits once a year however, and only for a few days, so the time frame of staying is either short, a true fling, a full year before leaving, or permanent.
Seathi who are born outside of the area are harder to transport, as they'd require to live in a large jug of water while transported. The caves are closed off from the rest of the underwater caves currently.
Locations: They can EASILY reach each oasis within their territory, though it requires traveling through the Deepwater Cavern system. The Deepwater Cavern system has plenty of air pockets and is an aquatic mix exclusive location.
Non-Aquatic Mini Mixes
Usdia and other Non-Aquatic Usdia Subbreeds can be born first gen into the Gobii, or have moved there from other herds, such as the Badieh Badawie.
Locations: There tend to be sub-herds, one to an oasis. Those born to the oasis tend to stick to the Oasis they're born in, but CAN choose to travel with a guide to the other oasis, or get together as a group and travel en mass to another Oasis.
Kelpi: 1st Gen's, Flying Mixes, Water Kelpi'suti, or ones traveling WITH Water Suti only: The first gens must be born to the oasis (since they require too much water to be able to travel even WITH the Suti herd) and Average sized Non-Gobii-Usdia's Reach about Shoulder height with their heads (Example). Flying members can come from other aquatic locations and stop at the oasis for a break and wetdown.
HOWEVER: Number of Kelpi allowed within the group is Limited: This is a miniature dominated herd. They act as protectors and warriors. They do have interactions with occasional members of the Kahfalmiah Aleamiqa (Deepwater Cavern) Kelpi
Mers: 1st gen only. Must be half the size of a regular Mer. Number of Mers are restricted.
Fullsized Non Aquatics: Ones Native to the herd must fit within the same size limits as the Kelpi born there. Outsiders may join as well, BUT numbers are restricted: The oasis are protected and can only support a small number of full sized soquili full time. There are a few exceptions.
Hippogryphs: being capable of scavenging, being smaller in build, and surviving on minimal food, Hippogryphs are welcome full time, especially as craftsmen, though are requested to travel around a bit.
Water, wood, and Earth Ulun'suti: While Suti are a little more picky with what they eat than hippogryphs, they are still smaller than most full sized soquili, and their elements are especially useful in Oasis Management.
Flutters: It is best if they feed at their tiny sizes, but Flutters are a welcome member of the Herd.
Angeni: Domained angeni with Related domains, any second gen semi-domained Angeni with related domains, and their mates/children (as long as they follow the rules of the herd) are all welcome. Related domains are things that are useful within an oasis, such as Rainfall, freshwater, springs(water), pollination, Growth, sand, etc. Pretty much anything that can protect the balance of the Oasis and spread the life giving boundaries of it.
Personalities Openly Evil soquili will be swarmed and drowned or trampled by members of the Gobii should they act out against the herd members, so please do not try to have an openly evil soquili join as they will not survive long. The Gobii range from Lawful Good to True Neutral or only slightly into the chaotic neutral range.
Color and edit limitations NONE! 8D However if you'd like some inspiration for a quest, the Gobii tend to decorate with Flowers, gold (which they have a rich deposit of in Deepwater Cavern), gems, fossils, and Feathers. They tend to have a general tropical feel to them. They are not required to have headscarves or bells, though many might follow the fashions of their allies and neighbors of the Bedieh Badawie.
Colorations tend to be similar to Guppy, Sailfin Molly, Tetra, Betta fish, and other brightly colored aquarium/tropical fish, Butterflies, Tropical Flowers, Tropical Birds, snakes, etc. However, there is no true limit to what you can make for a Gobii.
