He was sore, but it was a good sore. The dull ache in his bones woke him first. There was warmth too. His veins tingled and his body seemed enveloped by it. As his mind slowly woke up he developed an awareness of the individual parts of his body. His head and back were resting on something soft, not Calanoth, and his arm rested against something solid beside him. His legs were stretched out before him, entangled in what he realized was a blanket.
Memories rose from his dream fog and he finally knew where he was. Cracking his eyes open brought a sudden stab of pain as the midday sun shone bright into the room. Z'fer squeezed them back shut with a grimace and took the moment to do a full body stretch. Joints and muscles popped and complained before settling back into place. Oh yes he was sore. Calanoth had never flown a Gold before. Z'fer hadn't expected the experience to be any different than that of Greens. He wondered as he opened his eyes carefully if it was because of the woman he had bedded?
He chuckled to himself as he rolled onto his side, facing the sleeping form of Kindra. He couldn't remember much of the act itself but he remembered her fighting, playing hard to get even through the dragon induced lust. Z'fer propped himself up on one elbow and with his free hand tugged the blanket covering them down so he could see her. She was a lovely woman. He'd already known that. Her dark coloration almost matching that of his own. There was a smug pride at finding himself in her bed. Out of three weyr's worth of Wingleaders and bronzes Calanoth and by extension Z'fer had proven without a doubt that they were the best of the bunch.
Seeing her bare beside him was too much temptation. Z'fer shifted himself up close to her and laid back down. His hand slid down her side and over her stomach as he hummed possessively into her hair, pride practically dripping from the sound.
Calanoth lay outside tucked up against the gold that was notably smaller than he. Not that her size mattered to him. She was a gold. He was a Bronze. Things were exactly as they should be. The only sign Calanoth gave that he was awake was the draping of one broad wing across Suunath's back.

Kindra was slow to wake. Despite the fact she was sore all over, she was comfortable, that and moving would mean would have to move her sore parts. She was content to stay put in a half sleep....that was until the hand slid over her bare skin. She was almost instantly wide awake. Grabbing at the blanket she pulled it up over her and turned, trying to focus sleep fogged eyes on the man beside her, she couldn't remember who it was that had caught Suunath, and had forgotten his rider.. that was until the blurriness passed and she saw Z'fer before her. Her face darkened and she tried to sit up, hissing in pain as her sore parts flared once again.
She mentally cursed and got quickly out of the bed, glaring at Z'fer as she tried to recover some sanity in herself. "Get.....Out.." she growled, wrapping the blanket around herself to cover her nakedness. As she did so she noticed the bruises on her wrists and some vague memory stirred in her and she felt sick. She stood, glaring at Z'fer, obviously furious.
The worst thing for Kindra was the realisation that, despite the bruises and the painful aching in her body, she'd allowed him, sure she'd fought for a bit but ulitmately her body had reacted to him, she'd WANTED him, even though he wasn't N'mol... oh sure she could say that it was because of Dragonlust but even that didn't excuse everything they had done. She'd wanted him, reacted to him and it made her feel.. well she didn't know but she didn't like the feeling, she felt like she had betrayed N'mol....
Suunath crooned from her spot tucked up against Calanoth. She'd been woken when Kindra's mind had raged at findning Z'fer in her bed. She attempted to soothe her Rider but it didn't work though, Kindra's mind roiled as she glared at Z'fer "I said... get.. OUT!" she snarled, hating how smug the man seemed.

Z'fer raised an eyebrow and grinned as Kindra stirred. "Goodmorning Kindra." He greeted the blinking beauty beside him. "Easy! What's the rusg?" His grin faded as she flew out of the bed taking the bedspread with her. Goosebumps rose where his skin was suddenly exposed to the open air. Z'fer sat up, his grin fading to a look of puzzlement.
"Kindra?" Z'fer climbed out of bed and stood before her. He didn't bother covering himself. After what they'd just done he figured it wasn't necessary. "Kindra are you ok?" His brows furrowed. Get out? She had no reason to be mad. He was positive he hadn't been a disappointing lover. No, from what he could recall, and what he could read from the marks on her skin, their time spent together had been very rewarding. His grin returned. He sauntered closer to her, his eyes hungry for more as he reached out to pull her towards him. "Calm down. It wasn't that bad now was it? I seem to remember you quite enjoying yourself."
Shells why was she so angry?!

She didn't dignify Z'fer with an answer when he 'good morning'd' her, instead held the blanket tighter to her. "I'm fine" she said through gritted teeth, backing up a little as he got up and moved towards her.... NO... she would not retreat from a man... Steeling herself she stopped moving away. "It doesn't matter ... that was because of our dragons, it's over... i want you gone... NOW" she spat.
When he grabbed her and pulled her towards him she snapped, raising her hand she slapped him hard across his face, she didn't care which part only that it was hard enough to make her palm sting. "Don't... touch me" she said, her voice bordering on hysterical despite her attempt to keep calm.

Z'fer's head rocked back as the little goldrider caught him across the jaw. "Shells!" He let go of her and pressed a hand to his own face. No blood, but he'd felt her nails graze his lips. "What's wrong with you?!"
Calanoth stirred where he lay as his rider's temper flared. He nuzzled Suunath and mentally whispered to his rider. ~ Mine do not ruin this for me. ~
Z'fer growled. "I think it's a little late to be telling me not to touch you!" He gave her a pointed glare all the way up and down her covered form. "And you're right! It WAS because of our dragons! Because your dragon CHOSE mine. You chose Me so don't act like I did anything wrong!" His lip curled in disgust. "I expected a little GRACE from a goldrider but maybe Benden doesn't consider that necessary anymore. Like dragons."

Suunath stirred the moment Kindra hit Z'fer, her eyes flashing red among the contended color they had been moments ago. She knew Kindra had agonised about what would happen but in Sunath's mind Hers would have to deal with it.
Mine.... she queried but Kindra ignored her, caught up in her own situation as she was.
"I didn't choose you, your dragon happened to catch Suunath that is ALL" she snarled, "You think you did no wrong?" she trust one of her arms out at him, bruised as it was on her wrist and near her shoulder from his fingers, as well as the bite mark visible on her collarbone "Tell me again how you did nothing wrong" she snapped, she knew she was lying, of course he hadn't ... sure it had been rough but she'd accepted him after fighting for only a little while.
"Grace... GRACE?!" she positively blazed at him, stepping towards him sharp enough to force him to step backwards or hold her still. "if you don't get out NOW i WILL have Suunath call for N'mol" she smirked a little and tried to shove him towards the exit, one handed so it wasn't hard and he could easily avoid it if he just turned his body a little.
Suunath hissed and stood, mantling her wings but her aggression wasn't aimed towards the Bronze beside her but towards where Kindra was. She was NOT pleased at being disturbed, SHE had chosen Calanoth, she could have clawed him away when he grabbed her but she had accepted, Kindra should understand... she had been around Weyr life enough to have come to terms with it now.

Calanoth rose to his feet as well, eyes whirling in anger and tail snapping behind him. He positioned himself protectively beside Suunath. The threat itself may be coming from his rider but the young gold was Calanoth's mate. He made a noise that was half croon half growl.
Z'fer barely glanced at the wounded arm she presented him with. "I see nothing wrong! A couple of bruises. Big Deal! You're a rider not a sharding fruit!" He smirked at her threat, letting her throw herself against him without moving. "You think that little snot could do anything against me?" He whispered darkly as his arms rose to close around her again. He shifted only a little as she shoved against his chest. Did she really want him to leave? She wasn't trying very hard if she did.
"I see nothing wrong with a few bruises." He said again, smirk still in place as he glared down at Kindra.

Kindra was fuming, how DARE he stand there and mock her..... She swung for him again, aiming another slap, the other hand keeping the blanket covering her nakedness.
"Yes i'm a rider.. i am a GOLD Rider and as such i am ORDERING you to leave right now" she glared back. "That .. little snot is a better man than you will EVER be you smug b*****d" she tried to shove him again, trying to force him to back up towards the exit. "If you don't leave RIGHT NOW I'm telling you now that you are going to be sorry" sure she was sounding hysterical now but she wanted him OUT and he was refusing, mocking her.
"The point is Z'fer.... there wouldn't BE any bruises if i had CHOSEN you ... now LEAVE!"
Suunath growled loudly, blatantly audible to the two riders. She was a very angry gold now but could do nothing about it as it was Hers she was angry at. She most certainly wouldn't be talking to Kindra for a while.

Z'fer saw the slap coming this time and hastily stepped backwards to avoid her swing. "Fine!" He spat as she came after him. He hated to admit it she had a point. As a Goldrider she had clout with the weyrwoman where he did not. Sure it was Trine, neutral territory so far as Benden and Malvren were concerned but even though he'd flown her and technically she was the one attacking him. He was sure the beaten little goldrider act would weigh heavily in her favor.
Z'fer was not about to be stripped of his title over some hysterical little brat. He backed towards the door fending off any further shoves. "CALANOTH!" He roared. "We're Leaving!" He sneered at Kindra again as he spoke his parting bit. "Maybe so. But I've got the better dragon. Just think of how it will look when high and mighty Benden throws a child's fit because she was flown by Malvren! Not doing much for your reputation!" He threw open the door to her weyr and the angry growlings of the two dragons outside.
Calanoth's eyes glared red hot down at his rider as the man stepped into the open doorway. ~ I was not ready to leave!~

Kindra was unbalanced by his movement and her other hand flung out for balance, dropping the blanket, she recovered quickly but not quick enough to expose herself to him again. "Wherry s**t" she muttered, grabbing the blanket up around herself again as he moved towards the door.
Suunath clawed at the ground, "Cepheith, can you bring Yours here NOW please" she said, her voice gravelly in her annoyance at Kindra, SHE wasn't ready for Calanoth to leave either, she was soooooo not pleased with Hers.
Her face darkened again at his words. "It has NOTHING to do with which Weyr's dragon flew Suunath you arrogant Wherry" she snapped, slamming the door on him. She turned and saw his pants, grabbing at them angrily she moved across to the door again, "Take your crap with you" she yelled at him, throwing his pants and footwear at his face before slamming the door shut behind her.

There was a long moment before the usually pleasant and honey tones of Cepheith responded back, neutrally. We will be there shortly. Was all the Gold said, though there was a clear hint of confusion and concern in the older dragon's voice.
Narisa didn't bother to gather all her supplies, only throwing on enough clothing to be considered 'decent', before she rushed to her dragon's side. It was only a matter of moments to get Cepheith's harness on before the Gold stooped low enough for her bonded to climb up. With a growl, she took to the air, an quick apology sent to their guards for the sudden departure. And then they flashed between.
Within seconds, Cepheith and Narisa appeared above Trine, wasting no time to angle towards their weyr. Cepheith's eyes swirled red as she bellowed at both dragons below, landing heavily. Suunath, what has happened?! She asked, hissing, tail thrashing in annoyance at not understanding what was going on. The Gold did manage to extend a foot for her rider to dismount and jump down.
Dear sweet Faranth! This was... not how she expected her morning to start out. By seeing a naked man (fardles and he was attractive, wasn't he?) coming out of the hut she shared with Kindra. Followed by his clothes. And one angry Kindra. Her cheeks were a fabulous shade of crimson as she attempted to regain some composure.
"What in Faranth's name is going on here?" She... attempted to demand. Was that... Z'fer? Oh shellit it was!
Mine, you should see to Suunath's. Cepheith rumbled, eying Calanoth's before sitting near Suunath.
"Ah, e-excuse me, Wingleader." Narisa squeaked, moving towards the hut.

Z'fer leered as he caught another glimpse of Kindra's naked form. Seeing his own marks on her was pleasing. He'd love to hear what her precious N'mol thought of those. "It's not but it could be! You know how rumor spreads." His sadistic smile didn't waver as her door was slammed in his face.
A few seconds later the arrival of another gold was accompanied by Z'fer's boots and pants sailing through Kindra's doorway. The boots missed him by a hair's breadth, just barely clipping his shoulder while the pants caught him straight in the face. He gave a harsh laugh at her and caught them before they fell.
There was no point in hiding his nakedness from the other goldrider. Z'fer was proud and vain and the flush on her face was priceless to him. He swept her a low bow, coming up grinning. "Goldrider Narisa. Excuse me, Kindra was just bidding me a good day." He didn't bother struggling into his clothes right there in front of her. Instead, he scooped up the boots in one hand and tucked the balled up pants under his arm before departing with his head held high. Kindra wanted to kick him out naked? Well then the whole weyr would know he wasn't ashamed. He had done NOTHING wrong. ~ Stay then. I'm going to find Hekate. ~
Calanoth maintained his protective position at Suunath's side as Cepheith decended. He dipped his neck in difference to her none the less. ~ Cepheith. ~ She was a queen and he owed her that much, but he wasn't about to move from his mate's side unless ordered to.

Kindra had seen the leer but had it was enough that he was leaving, no need to give him cause to stay a moment longer. "Go screw a Wher" she muttered to his retreating back. She'd shut the door before he laughed at her but she heard it, her free hand balling into a fist as she fought the tears that were welling up.
She was disgusted with herself, she wanted to dive into a bath and scrub herself raw, she felt dirty because she had ALLOWED Z'fer to do what he did to her, she'd welcomed it even though she loved N'mol. As much as she'd been at the Weyr, she didn't think she could ever get used to this. She wasn't just Holdborn, she was a Holder's daughter, had been pampered and spoiled.
She heard the door open again and was about to launch herself at the man she expected it to be, her fist still balled, raised as she turned but there was Narisa.... She hadn't even realised Suunath had called to her fellow Gold but that was the only reason Narisa would be here now. She looked at Narisa and crumpled, managing to get to the bed before her legs felt too weak to stay standing. "Narisa.... what have i done?" she whispered before breaking down into wracking sobs.

Oh Faranth he was bowing and closer and... there was an amusing sound that may have escaped her lips as she managed to bow and quickly... flee. Shards, but this one would probably be held against her for a while! "I-I bid you... a g-good day as well." She squeaked over her shoulder before slipping inside the safety of her hut. Or at least she had assumed it would be safe. However the rigidness of Kindra's body and the fist that had been raised made her rethink that theory.
"Kindra... ?" She said softly, not moving from the door until her friend crumpled. And then she was moving quickly to sit by her side and murmur soft words to soothe her. Shellit, what had happened?! Had... Z'fer hurt her? The thought made her stomach roil.
Cepheith, see if you can get anything from Suunath?
"Shhh. It'll be okay." She said quietly, hand resting on Kindra's arm. "And in answer, you threw a naked man at me, that's what!" Narisa tried to tease lightly, but she was very worried about her friend. "Hey... tell me what happened?"
Calanoth. Cepheith nodded her head towards the Bronze, settling down as she discerned no threat from Calanoth. Suunath, what has made yours so upset? Mine is very worried. She didn't bother to keep Calanoth in the dark, sharing her thoughts with him as well.
