Nerio settled by the cities fountain, fingers trailing across the water. He always liked the water, always liked being near it and being able to touch it. His eyes watched from under his hood, enjoying the atmosphere of the many others that walked about. The night was cold and harsh, but he didn't mind. He needed to be near others, just for a little. As long as no one spoke to him. All he needed was the company.
The tan male grunted as the cold sent a shiver down his spine. He drew his legs up into his chest, arms wrapping around his legs and resting his chin onto his knees. He was content where he was, even if cold. A child wandered by and he watched them, a tiny smirk flickering across his features. Barely.
Mirabel enjoy the cold because it meant she wasn't as hot as she always was. She was a fire type which had a higher inner core then most other people which kept her warm in most conditions. Plus her hair gave a small but very warm glow oh heat the keep her hot too. So she didn't change her attire too much, all she did was put a scarf around her neck that match her hair tie. Today she thought was a perfect day to go take a walk to the cities fountain. She liked having sometime to herself because it meant that she was able to sing or hum a too without anyone commenting on her skills or lack of skills. It gave her time to try out different tunes without getting judge that she didn't know the lyrics all the way.
She was walking and gently humming a tune to herself when she notice a young boy or to her a young boy that was sitting all by herself. That couldn't be right, most people who came up here was with someone, really if they were sitting. She wondered if he wanted company and without really thinking that he might not want any she walked up and gave him a big grin. "Now what a little fellow like you doin all up ere all by emself? Don't make no sense!....." she paused and then continue, Don't mind some company, do ya? The names Mirabel Jenkins. Nice to meetcha." she said with a wide smile.
She hope the young boy was able to understand her. She knew that her accent with pretty thick and most people couldn't understand a word she was saying most of the time.
Nerio looked up as a woman approached, growing stiff. Oh, what /was/ she wearing? He didn't look too long, eyes flicking away. A woman was here, a woman was talking to him. What did she want from him? He felt the familiar rush of heat through his body, annoyance. He hated when others spoke to him, he hated pretending he was social and fluttery like everyone expected another to be. He wasn't. He was distant and afraid of people. He was untrusting and unable to relent into anothers whims and demands. He was nothing another wanted, and yet this woman sought him out. It happened time to time.
"I wanted to be alone." He muttered back, grouchy as always. She questioned if he cared if she joined and he almost considered snarling at her to leave. However, that would probably cause her to snap back, and he really wanted to limited contact. His head raised to view her, briefly, bright yellow eyes looking away once more. "It's a free city. Ya can do whatcha want."
Mirabel huffed, what a debbie downer. She knew he wanted company and not to be left alone. Even if that was the reason why she came out here. Ok that wasn't the true reason she just wanted to get away from her family who new all her tunes, so it couldn't be true. She sated down, not caring if he wanted her too or not. sShe grabbed him and pulled him close maybe too close to her body and laughed. "Well ain't we got a snippy one ere. Yall full of sunshine, ain't cha." she said pinching his cheek. She laughed again, slapping her leg. She was going to make good company too him even if he didn't like.
She tilted back and moved him closer. "So whats the real reason yall out ere? Looking at the shiny clear water rushing all over de place, huh?" she said looking to him. She had just realize that he was being ver impolite and had yet to tell her his name and she frown. "Well are you going to tell me you're name or am I going to halfty drag it out of yall?" she said smiling. She was only kidding, a joke in her mind she just hoped that it would seem the same with him.
Nerio had NOT expected to be grabbed and brought closer, eyes flashing and widening, a blush forming without reason onto his face. Women! Why were they all so grabby?! Where were the good women that were shy and soft in the movies? He was being man handled, someone help him! Okay, maybe he was being sexist. He just... didn't know how to deal with women. Especially with those.... things... they had on their tops. Then, she pinched his cheek, and suddenly the blush was gone and he was a bratty child, puffing his cheeks out and giving her a well earned growl.
"Wha! Don't go touchin' me like I'm some kid!" He huffed, rubbing his cheek. Then, without warning, she moved him closer. Another frantic blush formed. What was she doing?! He.... he didn't know how to deal with someone so touchy feely! She spoke, rather rambled to him, and he looked away, perhaps too fast. "I ain't have to tell ya." He grumbled, though his mother had raised him better. Kind of. "I wanted to take a walk." He mumbled, lying. He wanted to be near people, but he wasn't admitting that s**t. She might take it as an invitation. At the mention of names he raised his head, face hidden by his hood as always.
"Nerio." He wasn't one to give his name about, but he was worried she'd touch him more. Or hug him. Or drag him pratically on her lap. Or something.
She smiled and laughed right afterward. He was blushing, what a ham he was. So funny and she had only just met him. He must of not been used to be touch, which didn't bother Mirabel one bit as she was a very touchy feely person, so the closer you got the better you were, in her book at least. She backed up a bit as he snapped at her. She shot him and look and huffed. Well he sure looked like a kid so what was she suppose to think?
"Sorry, honey bun! Didn't mean to. Though' yall were a child! My stake!" she said trying to explain herself. He must of been around her age if he found any offense by that. Which made Mirabel make a mental note. If she was ever going to meet this kid again then she was going to stay away from his cheeks because that was a big no no. She frown at his bitter mood. "Whats with all thee bitter talkin'? Huh? I was just askin a question, no need be so rude!" she paused to shot him another look. She was going to have to teach this kid some matter because heavens did he needs some. "See, Dere we go! I knew yall was out ere with an idea to do somethin'!" she said with a small.
She grabbed him and gave him a large kiss. "Well Golley! Dere we go! A name! Nerio, what a nice name! No last name Nerio?" she asked.
Nerio scowled at her first response, almost sputtering as she called him honey bun. WHO SAID THAT?! Besides, where the hell was she from?! Her accent was grating on his nerves. No, wrong, false. It wasn't her accent. He was taking his anger out on it. It was those touchy hands! And the mention that he seemed like a child. The male grumbled curses no lady should hear under his breath.
"I'm not gonna lighten' my tone for some stranger." He muttered back. Why should he not be bitter? She had intruded in the first place. His head raised slightly to view her, and then suddenly she grabbed and kissed him. There was a second where he merely sat there, and then a ripple of emotions flew out. First, a bright blush as he touched his face. Then, anger, sputtering words that barely made a sentence before he suddenly leapt away. Then, once again a blush as he rubbed his face, ********! s**t ******** Arceus be mighty, women!" Yup. Made no sense. His hood fell off in his frantic moving, yellow eyes wide and alarmed as they locked on her, showing the complete nervous meltdown the boy was having. The blush grew brighter as he flipped his hood up, sunk into himself, and bit his bottom lip. "What was that for?!"
It was cute the way he got mad about everything. She enjoy his little thoughts that ran threw his head. He was caught off-guard with ever movement she made and it made her smile. It shouldn't of but it did. He was just too darn cute for his own good.
"Well yall should! I ain't done nuthing too worng! You're just bein a meany-puss!" she said while poking his nose. What happen next surprise her. She wasn't expecting such a big deal from just a tiny kiss on the cheek. She wondered what would happen the first time he had sex. She could just image him squirmy around in a fit of joy and anger, not knowing what to do next. She laughed at her thought. "Yall might want to clam down, sweetie! Yall gonna cause a scene if yall didn't already." she said still laughing a bit. She smiled and move close to him, eyeing him. Wondering what he would do if she played with his emotions a bit more. She moved next to him and lightly brush his face with her hand as she spoke, "I unno, maybe cause I couldn't keep mah eyes off yall. You're just so handsome,..." she paused for just a second. "I could just each yall up." she purred. She moved closer pushing her breast up, she move in front of him to see if he would react.
