Regardless, with Chester back, this meant he was finally able to fight.

Ofelia was actually already out on the training fields, fresh from a morning run. She hadn't been fully released, just given enough of a pardon thanks to Rue helping out (slowly) and so she thought about getting in some light fisticuffs against one of the dummies. Rue was about to be summoned, ready to hit the air, when Ofelia noticed someone approaching.
"Well howdy DK. Didja get the voice back in yer head, jus' like Ah said ya would?" Ofelia didn't mince her words, not with Jake, and the combination of scathing mockery and friendly teasing made it hard to tell what more she was focusing on.

Ofelia wasn't hearing Rue's voice in her head, wasn't really feeling her being there, but she knew that the weapon was back. It was stupid to think she wasn't, her body was healing entirely too fast, and so with a deep exhale Ofelia flicked her wrist.
And Rue came out, screaming all the while. It would have brought a smile to the redhead's lips if she wasn't ready to beat down a sizeable bug. "Little boy, lemme tell ya sommin'. This fight is gonna be on a bet, ya get this?" She flexed her knuckles inside of Rue's handles, ignoring the scream that continued on and on. "Ya win, ya get sommin, ya lose an' Ah get it." Why was she explaining to him was he stupid?
She felt like so, that he wasn't too bright. "Little boy, Ah'll teach ya the meanin'a the word 'mistake'."

The screaming in her head wasn't going to stop, it felt like Rue was determined to split Ofelia's skull apart with her voice, and so to alleviate some of the pressure the teen didn't even wait to see if Jake understood what she meant with a bet. Turning on her heel she lunged at him, her face serious and void of all the teasing and friendliness she always shared with others.
At the last moment she pulled her hand back, deciding not to entirely hit such a new kid with the force of a blow, but it was enough to coat the tip of her weapon with a small layer of FEAR. Rue's screaming did not stop, and Ofelia pressed on.
"If Ah win the bet, ya get one'a two options. An' there is no refusin' a bet, 'cause either way Ah'll make ya regret it."
Her voice was calm and steady, like raindrops.

If he didn't get serious soon Ofelia was going to hurt him, at least that was the thought in her mind, and even though the both used close ranged weapons it was clear she was far superior in control and strength. A frown crossed her features as Jake continued to snark at her, and Ofelia responded in turn with a strong punch to his gut. The shield would protect against being impaled by her spikes, but he'd still feel it.
"Make a bet, or else when ya lose Ah'll strip ya naked an' drop ya in the commons." The sun hunter may or may not have been kidding, it was very very hard to tell.
Rue was still screaming.

He was going to complain some more until she punched him, knocking the wind out of him.
He bent over, coughing, clutching his stomach.
The hell.
Shut up.
He was still bent over, resting his hands on his knee.
"You wouldn't dare."
This wasn't a game anymore. This was for keeps.
"If I win," he growled, swinging the tonfas, "I'll make you SUFFER."

"If Ah win...ya either gotta hold mah hand every day fer an entire week, or ya always gotta call me. . . 'big sis' each time ya refer to me." Ofelia had no reason to make up anything, it was ridiculous, but she was having entirely too much fun taunting him. It was like a voice in the back of her head was goading her on among all the screaming Rue was doing.
It didn't even stop now that she had a full charge, the last bit of her weapon digging into Jake again. She should have stopped, it wasn't a fair fight, but Ofelia kept on. The screaming hadn't stopped.

"You've GOT to be kidding me."
It seemed she was serious though, as she drove the weapon into him, only having the fear shield prevent him from getting impaled.
No s**t.
Despite being severly handicapped fighting someone more experienced than him, Jake still had no intentions of losing.
Even if he was going to go down, he was going down fighting.
He grit his teeth as he gripped the tonfas tightly, swinging it with much force at her.

Ofelia wasn't joking, she wasn't kidding, and to show her point she turned quickly on her heel and managed to get a heavy kick against Jake's frame. She didn't need her weapon to take him down, the Sun hunter jacket she wore swayed with the motion to prove it, and when the kick had finished connecting she stood on one leg, like a stork.
"Agree, or be naked. Ya get no choice, ya can' beat me." There was a laughing cruelty in her voice.

This b***h was absolutely crazy.
As if to prove the point, she ended up kicking him.
What. the. hell.
He staggered back, clutching his side.
Damn, that was going to bruise.
Just what did he get himself into? Despite everything, there was no way he could win against her. The gap was too big.
"Fine." he muttered.
He didn't like any of those options, but to be honest, he was starting to think she was actually serious about the "leaving him hanging" part.

Perhaps it was because he was lucky, or perhaps it was because Ofelia was feeling a bit more like herself, but when he grabbed her and knocked Ofelia down she released her charge into the earth rather than his body.
It didn't hurt, she hardly felt a thing, and was quickly back on her feet. "Yer not gonna beat me."
