Polaris was not really one that listened to much popular music. Her tastes were outdated, usually far too refined for most radio stations that girls her age usually bobbed around to. The classical music that once filled her dorm room at Crystal Academy now annoyed poor Azzo. But sometimes around the house she'd find herself with a radio on. And one song that had weaseled it's way into her brain, had suddenly come back to her, playing the fitting melody back to her in her head. It was appropriate.. and it might have even been helping a little in soothing the senshi's worries as she awaited her page.
Hold on, to me as we go
As we roll down this unfamiliar road
And although this wave is stringing us along
Just know you're not alone
Cause I'm going to make this place your home
She'd been prepping for this visit since Sutai originally requested going to visit the star they both served. Worried about the cold and her poor little page Polaris had visited again on her own, searching through the dark homes until she found a cape similar to the one she'd taken so long ago for herself. The ancient fabric and fur had been carefully hand washed as Aurora was too afraid she'd destroy it by putting it through the laundry, but now the soft but thick cloak lay folded over her arm. It's color was just a little lighter then the royal purple one clasped and hanging from her own shoulders.
Polaris' home star was... well it wasn't something she really enjoyed showing off to everyone. She'd been to a few other homeworlds, some quite impressive or exciting. But Polaris... It was cold and harsh. It was beautiful, but also so terribly silent that it gave her an uneasy and almost guilty feeling.. as if the whole world had been trapped inside a snowglobe.. and somehow it was her fault. She loved her star. Maybe that was what the problem was...
What would Sutai think of it? What if she didn't like it? The thought had been weighing on the senshi for a few days. As was the sudden strange thought of sharing her homeworld. What part would Sutai call home? Would she get the strange memories like Polaris often did when she visited? If so, what would her happy little page remember of the past Princess?
She hadn't noticed she'd been holding her breath until it all released in one heavy whoosh. She was probably worrying too much. Sutai was always such a sweetheart and so excited about everything. Rocking on her feet a little, she scanned the area, trying to feel out any nearby auras as she let herself be engulfed by the soft lull of the song in her head.
Settle down, it'll all be clear
Don't pay no mind to the demons
They fill you with fear
The trouble it might drag you down
If you get lost, you can always be found
Just know you're not alone
Cause I'm going to make this place your home
