Patrolling was a lot nicer when you had other people with you. This was, actually, not a new revelation for Sailor Vanadis, Senshi of Wards. Patrolling with a friend was awesome, everyone knew that - but patrolling with your best friend in the whole wide world (who came in the shape of the most adorable kitty ever to grace the Earth) was super-duper fantastic, as she'd quickly come to learn. It didn't matter that they were just roaming around some neighbourhood, looking for baddies or youma to vanquish. It was the greatest thing ever.

And although the red-headed girl was far from the best senshi in the city, on this patrol she felt like she could take on anyone! Pippin's presence gave her an odd sense of confidence, as though nothing could go wrong as long as she had the guardian cat at her side. Was that how all senshi who regularly went patrolling with someone else felt? As if they could take on the world, as long as their friend had their back? She'd have to ask Hygiea next time she met the chibi senshi; she was sure if anyone would know, it was the orange-haired girl. Vanadis considered the younger senshi to be somewhat of a mentor in all things team-related, after all.

"D'you think we're going to find anything at all t-tonight?" Her voice was oddly cheerful, despite the subject matter. They were doing The Right Thing after all, and spending time with a friend always made things extra fun, no matter what the thing was!
