An Introduction to The Elder Scrolls Online: —a documentary-style introduction to the game, presented by members of The Elder Scrolls Online Development Team. This video covers the basics of ESO, including a first look at the game's Elder Scrolls-style combat system, massive PvP battles, Megaserver technology, exploration-based content, and much more.

You know this game might actually be great in the end. After watching this video I'm a little more optimistic about the game.

"I think they might need to do much to overcome the splitting of the races though.
That part still repulses me. (Considering how much they tote the free-will to do whatever you want with your character, you're still forced into a certain faction depending on your race.)

I still want to see more of what the dungeons look like...
Are they short? Long? big wide, empty spaces(bleh)?
I want to see them making each of the dungeons a unique experience.
Not just a bunch of hallways connecting to large rooms full of enemies.

Yeah I agree with you Hero the factions part still makes the Lore Buff inside me very unhappy. The Ebonheart Pack is really the only faction that truly wouldn't work. There is just so much bad blood between the three, actually come to think of it. It's actually bad blood from two aimed at one. There's not much in Lore that suggests that Argonians and Nords couldn't work together. Its my fellow brothers and sisters that don't play nice with either. One tired to kill use off and the other we enslaved for generations.

I can see that situations could call for desperate thinking, unite as a larger force to stop a Daedric Prince from taking over the world.

The whole forced into a faction isn't a new concept with WOW your either Alliance or Horde depending on what race you pick.

I'm sure once they get more videos together we will see more and more about the game before its release date.

"Being forced into a faction just feels... very un-TES-like, you know what I mean? I know it's an MMO, but... choice is kinda one of the big things of TES. Choice to do what YOU want.
Though I try not to let it sour my view on the new stuff coming out, whenever I think about it, I want to propell myself across the room and never want to think about playing it.
It's childish, but it's because I know my choice of race(argonian) will split me apart for people I do want to play with. Because no doubt my brother would pick Altmer, not sure about my sister though. For a game that totes the ideals of bringing you together with your friends(read about all the social media stuff they're planning on implementing), it splits you apart from your first choice in making your character.

ESO looks like it's gonna make WoW look like a 90's arcade game ;D

As a person who dislikes MMOs and online multiplayer in general, I will continue to veiw this game with trepidation.
