The center of Death City is where most of the citizen's meet up and hang out. It is located near Death's Mansion and the DWMA. In the center there are shopping malls, and basketball courts as well as many other utilities.

  ✥ Demon King ✥ Darkness Manipulation ✥ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As the citizens of Death City scurried through the streets like mice, a solitary figure would be seen walking alone the northern most road, heading straight towards the center of the City. As he walked through the city, all that could be seen on the man was his mouth and chin, everything else completely shrouded by black robes. "Thus the end is here..." the man spoke as he seemed to have a bit of hesitance in his voice, but that could only be assumed. As he reached the center of the city, the man would stop and look around at all of the people and creatures that inhabited the City. The sun would then shine down on the man as the clouds parted ways, making his features come alive, so to speak. Once the sun had shined on him, the man would turn to face Death's Mansion. Staring at it for a few seconds, the man could be seen uttering words, but it was too low for anyone to hear.
Suddenly and without warning, the skies over Death City would darken as small bat-like creatures would be seen flying over the City as well. But the creatures would not do anything, except hover there in the air, almost as if they were waiting for something. As it did, a small bus would be seen coming towards the man. The driver of the bus, to busy dealing with unruly passengers and rowdy kids, would not be able to see that the man was in front of him, until it was too late to turn. Just as it would seem like the man would become just a scratch on the paved roads, he would hold up his right palm at the bus and unleashed a low and somewhat weak, burst of energy from his hand. With that minimal force, the bus would be seen getting blown backwards into the sky and then almost imploding on itself, along with the bus driver and passengers. As another effect of the man's technique, the streets in front of him along with several small buildings would be uprooted and destroyed in seconds.
Still standing in the same place, the man would observe how the citizens would react to the gruesome scene that had just played out in front of him. They would stare at the man for a few seconds, not fully understanding what had just happened, but all of this would change when a sole woman screamed out in sheer terror. Almost like dominoes, others would join the woman as she screamed and ran away, fearing for her life. Seeing her run, would be like a signal to the others as they began to run as well. Women would call out and search for their children, as the men would try and get weapons to defend themselves. Other women would abandon their children and leave them there to fend on their own as she would worry about her own safety. Other men would start pushing down women and children, causing even more chaos and damage than before. As this all happened, the man would remain motionless, observing everything as it happened.
Saying nothing, the man would raise the same hand in the air and form a rather large spherical mass or black energy. As seconds passed the sphere would grow larger in size, and once it was done the man would stop and stare at the citizens for a few more seconds. "Curse your luck, for having been here." he would utter as he then motioned his hand down, causing the sphere to fall down upon the city. As it hit the city, the sphere would not explode but instead it would set every living being in the vicinity on fire. As they were engulfed in black flames, the people would shriek and call out in painful and agonizing voices, but soon they would all go silent as their bodies would be completely incinerated, leaving only their souls behind.
As the buildings began to crumble and fall, due to the flames burning through them, the man would look up in the sky and nod. Seeing the nod the hundreds of bat-like creatures would descend on the City causing even more panic and chaos. The man watched as his creatures started slaughtering the citizens, while this happened, he would then make his way towards the top of Death's Mansion. Once there, the man would unveil himself, revealing that he was none other than Divine Hope, the Demon King, who had aligned with the Kishins, "Attention all of Death City..." he began, "I, Divine Hope, hereby declare your City as the domain for my new kingdom." Divine announced as he then looked over at a portal that appeared beside him, no doubt, it was one of the Kishins, but who.

✥ Demon King ✥ Darkness Manipulation ✥ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Looking at the portal, Divine showed little to no signs of amusement as blood would float out and then begin to form a figure, "Vera, it is always a pleasure to see you." Divine would say as he already knew who the figure was, before it completely formed into the kishin Vera. As she congratulated him on his work and told him to keep it up, Divine would scoff at her and then looked back down at the chaos that was pursuing, "Don't get too full of yourself, Vera. Despite my following your orders, I am not the weakling you and your siblings think me to be." Divine told her as he crossed his arms, almost as if he was looking or searching for someone.

Some would also just fall dead followed by the sound of bells. Shira ran through the crowd of people then "Hurry to the DWMA for cover!" she called out to them, attempting to blast the bats back. She winced at how much chaos was going on as she ran, avoiding some of the bats that were trying to get at her. She took cover near what remained of one of the buildings, she glanced over towards Death Mansion and frowned "Damn it... dad is gonna kill me if that place gets trashed..." she muttered before looking at the sky "More importantly... how can I get over there..." she muttered. `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´ "I will fight for what I believe in no matter the cost."

While observing the destruction and chaos, Divine would see some of his creatures fall down out the sky, followed by multiple shots of energy. Knowing it was that was behind it, Divine would choose not to do anything, "Vera, no. I should say, clone of Vera, just where is the fun in this. There is no one here to challenge my authority, Kidd and his comrades are off on missions, while Lord Death is pretty much useless and the student's here are no match for my power." Divine said, referring to Shira and the other students of the DWMA, "This is boring." he stated, looking over at her, "How about you go and reek some havoc on your own. Amuse me."
Suddenly, Divine would summon forth a small orb and shoot it out at another part of the city, resulting in a powerful explosion. What followed next could be described as horrible, after the explosion, hundreds of souls would float in the skies above Death City, and just stay there, almost as if it was a warning to those who wish to oppose him.

"You have some nerve standing up on my house like that!" Shira called. She landed on top of the mansion, her roller blades turning into her normal shoes. This is really stupid... but I refuse to stand by while this guy does this to the city. she thought as she stood there.

"Why have you come here, shinigami girl?" he asked as he would the close his eyes, "You are out of your league here, just leave and I will not harm you. I do not wish to fight against a lowly shinigami such as yourself." Divine warned as this was the one and only chance Shira would have to get away with fighting against Divine. Looking over at Vera, Divine would sigh, "Do you honestly think that I will be able to enjoy myself when I'm fighting this little girl?" he asked.

Shira stared at him with a serious look "I know my chances against you just by myself are slim... I still can't just stand around and watch you harm the city like this." she told him as her hands formed into cannons. Not even Atticus is here yet... Oh well, the least I could do is hold him off long enough for the civilians to get to the DWMA. she thought. "Say whatever you want about me being unworthy and what not with facing you, that won't change the fact that I am still going to try and stop you even if that leaves me in pieces."

And yet you still wish to face me, then so be it." Opening his eyes, Divine would appear in front of Shira with his hands already aiming at her chest, "You will die here, all alone and in the dark." Divine said as he then thrusts his bare hand at her chest, attempting to kill her in that instant.

Shira smirked "I was warned, but what is the fun of sitting around." she muttered and quickly moved out of the way oh his hand. "Stance of Mad Crime." Shira sent a huge wavelength pulse into her hand and launched her hand towards a open space on Divine.

Divine said as he held out his hand just as Shira attempted to hit him with a powerful thrust, stopping it, with ease. "This will not do. You won't last if you don't connect your lines." he told her as he would summon forth spikes of dark energy from underneath him, which would attempt to pierce Shira's body.
