Terra was searching the school for the classrooms. It consisted of walking around, peeking in doors at classes and getting shooed away. But it was interesting--she would have to actually GO to one of the classes someday, she thought as she saw a ladies restroom. She headed into it, heading for the mirror.
Her makeup wasn't right, she thought irritably, digging a small bag out of her purse and digging through her makeup. She pulled out a black pen with a smudger on the opposite end and set about cleaning up her face.

TK had to wonder what it was about him that attracted bullies. He calmly walked through the school halls as he dutifully made his way toward the library in order to study for some tests and finish the rest of his homework, but he also heard the familiar heavy footsteps of a certain group of students. His eyes narrowed and the corners of his lips twitched downward, but he kept walking anyways. TK held back a sigh as he prepped himself for the inevitable.
“Hey Skellyface, why don’t you watch out?” someone behind him sneered. He heard a chorus of laughter as a student pushed him into the restroom. The undead didn’t mind. Not really.
It was just really awkward once he realized this was the ghoul’s restroom. Mouth slightly parted, he looked up at the lone ghoul in the restroom—her face markings were pretty—and stood frozen.
Um.

Terra stared at him. She looked at his clothes--a strange reaction, possibly, but there was a reason. "You are not un travesti, senor," she told him--as if he didn't know himself that he wasn't a crossdresser. "You should be sure to go to the room with the hombre on the picture--the male," she finished, adding a few lines on her lips. "Perhaps your eyesight is not so good? I can assist! Well, partially. I cannot go into the room with the hombre--I am a female." Then she frowned. "Unless you are here to change? Then I am very sorry for my rude assumptions." He was muy guapo, she decided, he would make a passable female. It depended, really, some very good looking males were not suited for Queen-dom...

At the very least, the lone ghoul inside the restroom had yet to shriek and kick him back outside. On the other hand, she was also using Spanish and unfortunately, the undead student needed to brush up on his language skill. The foreign terms somehow caused him to briefly slip into his own. “はい？あああ、えと、aaah, I’m afraid I don’t know what you’re referring to, Miss.” TK’s lips pressed into a thin line as he attempted to make sense of the few Spanish terms she slipped it. It didn’t affect the meaning of the sentence much, but not knowing bothered him greatly.
“Change?” He craned his neck forward slightly. Things clicked together suddenly. Faint pink spread across his monochrome cheeks. “No! I’m afraid someone pushed me into here.” TK coughed, trying to retain his dignity. “I-I think it’s best if I leave now. My sincere apologies if I disturbed you.”

"But there is the chance that they are still out there, no?" Terra said. "Why were they shoving you into the ladies' restroom? Did you offend them in some way?" she asked. Her mind, though, was working out a way to keep him from the bullies attack again. "We could dress you as a travesti!" she said. "But I do not have a spare skirt, lo siento..." Her face actually fell with that statement, as if it were a horrible thing.

“Yes,” TK admitted with a sideways look. He shook his head at Terra. “I am new here, so perhaps they wanted to pick on the new student. Some are like that, but otherwise I do not believe I provoked them.” He tried not to shuffle awkwardly as he stepped away from the door, particularly out of sight should the door open once more. The gashadokuro gave Terra a curious look. It seemed he was beginning to realize what a travesty was. “You do not have to worry. I am not sure if it would fit me anyways,” he reassured.
He placed a hand on his chest and bowed slightly. “Thank you for the concern, by the way. It is possible they have already left. If you do not mind, perhaps you could peek outside and check?”

She nodded and headed for the bathroom door, peeking out. "There is a small group of boils standing there, laughing. Are they the ones you are worried about?" she asked, closing the door again. "Perhaps there is a window you could go out?"

TK pressed his lips together. “I am not surprised, to be honest. I do wish they would leave, though.” He sighed. “Yes, I am fairly certain that those are the ones I am worried about.”
His eyes lit up at her suggestion. “Perhaps. Do you see in any?” The undead began to wander around the restroom, peering up the stalls for an opening. “Do you think I could fit through that?” he pondered as he pointed to a somewhat small window in the corner.

"Mmm, it might be tight," Terra said with a frown. "I can, perhaps, distract them?" she offered. "I will do that, and you will run!" she decided. She headed for the mirror to check her already fixed makeup, straighten her clothes, tilt her chin up, and start for the door.

“You think so?” He scrutinized the window. “Hmm. Perhaps.” Then the skeleton turned toward Terra. “Would you really be willing to do that?” TK asked, genuinely surprised. “That is quite kind of you and—“ He stopped suddenly when the reaper ghoul headed for the door. TK frowned. As generous as the gesture was, he was also a rather identifiable fellow. Not a lot of people had a face like his, after all. But she was putting forth all this effort for him. Sighing, TK steeled himself and followed after her. He could already hear them laughing as he tried to sneak away.

"Por favor," Terra said as she headed for the group of teenage boils. "I have lost mi hermano," she told them seriously. "He is about six and a half feet tall, and he has a very strange hair cut, it is sticking straight up in the middle and cut short on the sides, and he has very many strange pieces of metal sticking out of his face," she told them. "Have you seen him?"
"Weren't you--"
"Wasn't there a--"
"Is she talking about Roch?" a third asked.
"Si! Hermano, he is named Roch! He is very much a strange fellow," she admitted. "Can you get him for me? Or take me to him?"

TK could only imagine what the ghoul was saying in order to distract the other boils, but it seemed to be effective. He pulled up his jacket in order to obscure his face from the group. He glanced over and noticed the wary looks on their faces. The skeleton slowly made his way over until he was directly behind the group. Once (or if) he ever managed to make eye contact with Terra, he pointed toward the food court before heading over to one of the empty tables and seated himself. Perhaps she would come. Perhaps she would not.

"I dunno... I mean, I heard mixed things about Roch," the first guy said. "Y'sure he's your er--er mon oh? I mean, he's--ain't he datin' that big boo--" "Yeah... hey, we'll go look for him, okay? If we see him we'll tell him you're lookin' for him," a second said to stop the first, heading off. The others followed, looking a bit strange. It made her wonder what they knew about her brother that she didn't. Ah well, she thought as she turned, she had saved her new friend! "Hola!" she said as she headed for the table. "I do not know how they know my hermano, but it seemed to distract them!" she told him, plopping down in a chair. "I am Terra! Terra Bethel Scythe," she said with a wide smile. "I did not tell you that earlier, forgive me."

TK smiled and waved. “Hello.” The skeleton furrowed his brows slightly at the mention of a hermano but he supposed he would have to look up the word’s meaning another time. At least knowing Spanish didn’t seem imperative. He leaned forward to quickly pull out a chair for the reaper to plop down in. “It is a pleasure to meet you, and do not worry. I neglected to introduce myself earlier as well.” He bowed his head in apologies. “I am Taiki, but you may call me TK.”
The gashadokuro leaned into his chair. “I greatly appreciate you helping me out today, so as a small thanks I would like to treat you today in the food court.” He waved toward the nearby food stores. “I do insist, but would hope that you try not to leave me seedless afterwards.” TK smiled politely.

"That is--" she said, blinking as she looked around. "I did not expect payment for assisting you, senor," she told him. "But a small treat would be appreciated!" she added. "Have you eaten here before? Do you know what is good? I have not had much other than the food I am used to--this is a wonderful opportunity to try something new!" It would have to be something small, of course--but wasn't that the definition of trying something?
