Zia had mixed feelings about this whole... patrol... thing. Mostly because she was having mixed results with her experiment in just being human and not a stupid ******** space cat. Some nights went awesome. Some ended with blood and monster claws. Others were just quiet.

And absolutely none of them resulted in this epic knight thing Valhalla insisted would happen. ******** him and ******** her hopes for not shutting the door on that whole issue.

Zia was walking with an ingrained rhythm, tapping the end of her bat on the grass in the park with soft thumps.

Well until she stopped. There was a redhead, and her fuku was unmistakably DMC. And not a basic 'easily-punch-his-face-and-cry-a-little-to-make-him-leave' fuku. If she had to guess, with her encyclopedia of guardian cat knowledge, she'd pin her at super.

She didn't run in the other direction, either. She just stopped and stared. Observing, and wondering which way this was going to go.

Navi had heard the soft thumping, but she hadn't had any idea what it was, not until the woman had wandered into view dragging along a bat like some sort of medieval club. She stared at it a moment, then slide her eyes slowly up to the woman holding it, ginger brows quirking upward.

From the look she was getting Navi figured whomever this woman was, she knew what she was facing, and that was curious in and of itself. "It looks like you know what I am, but what are you supposed to be?"

There was no aura surrounding the woman, nothing at all hinting that there was any power attached to her at all. So what was she doing out here?

She glanced at the bat again, the corner of her lips twitching upward. A funny little idea forming in her head. "Are you intending to bash someone over the head with that?"

A human with a bat didn't pose any real threat to Navi, so she made no indication at all of attacking. Instead she drew her arms up to cross beneath her chest, held tilting gently to one side as she regarded the woman.

Zia quirked her own eyebrow and just rest the bat on her shoulder, shrugging, and answering in a deadpan, "Depends, I guess."

She wasn't stupid enough to openly attack a senshi, especially one that didn't look basic, but that didn't mean she wouldn't if she felt it was necessary. She'd openly admitted to killing herself before letting anyone touch that hidden parallel soul she'd more or less become a safekeeping place for, so simply attempting some self defense wasn't entirely out of the question.

"Just a well informed human," She said, regarding what she was, and put her free hand on her hip, flashing the girl a condescending smirk. "You one of Ares' new skanks?"

A vigilante with a baseball bat, that was new. Navi hadn't run into anything like that before, but surely it was bound to happen eventually. It wouldn't surprise her if citizens took up arms to defend themselves from so called terrorists. What did surprise the teen, however, was how knowledgeable this woman seemed to be about what was really happening, and Navi herself.

Pals lips pressed together as the bat wielding woman referred to her as 'one of Ares' skanks'. Well informed human, huh? Clearly she had a friend in the White Moon. A very chatty friend. "I guess you call me that, but I wouldn't recommend it." The threat was there, but subtle. Navi didn't usually mess with humans that weren't low lifes or worst, but right this moment the idea was appealing.

She resisted temptation. For now.

"So what do you think you know about me and my kind?" She wasn't sure if the woman would talk, but it was worth it to ask. If they could get a little insight on what the White Moon knew, or thought they knew, it could be a huge advantage. "Did they tell you we're evil, our some similar bullshit?"

"What do I think I know? Oh my god," Zia's arms collapsed and her free one suddenly gained life enough to facepalm. "Kid your kind have only been in existence for like, a little over a year," And she had no problem calling her 'kid' even if Zia's physical age had to have only been a year or two older.

"And don't even count Ares, you guys aren't even on the same level of what. I think a better question is what do you think you know? Because really, I'll bet you don't even have any memories. Or know about Nehelenia. Or know about the cat."

Thankfully it was incredibly easy for Zia to talk about 'the cat' like a separate person. Well, because she was, even if she was using her body. Zia herself was just a human caught up in the dumbest inter-dimensional war ever and no one was going to tell her different.

"Like seriously, parallel bullshit's been happening in this universe for years and then you cutsy little dolls flounce onto the scene like you know what you're doing. Coma epidemic? Parallel bullshit. But I like how you say 'our kind' like you're not just a step above youma. Really, it's cute."

And suddenly rage. Navi stared at the woman across from her, and the more she spoke, the darker the Senshi's features became. Not only was she condescending, but how dare she speak of the Dark Mirror Court in such a way. And better question, how the hell did a human come to possess that level of knowledge about something that was supposed to be kept under wraps. If her temper hadn't already boiled over, Navi might have been more curious or concerned about it, but as it was, right that moment, she was only pissed.

Baseball bat or not, the woman in front of her was still just a human, she had no magic to rely on, not like Navi. She used that advantage now, surging forward to grab the other girl by the throat, fingers squeezing, but not yet hurting.

"I don't need to know the sad history of a dead queen of some extinct court." Her knowledge of the parallel court was limited, but she'd heard enough to at least know what the other girl was talking about. "We are not the Parallel court."

She didn't bother to ask about the cat. Ares had not mentioned their court having any cats to call their own. She didn't care to ask, it wasn't important to Navi, least not now.

Perhaps if their conversation had been more peaceful she'd have been a little more curious, more eager to ask questions. Not just about the former history of the Parellel court, but about how the hell she, as a human, knew so damn much about this hidden war.
