SPY'S TAG!

Troy Page was beginning to show signs of improvement in his worthiness as a Knight. Or, as his ancestor Oreius would say, he is beginning to show signs of basic brain function. He was patrolling more often in the week - or at least, on nights he wasn't shamefully (or shamelessly) taking his clothes off for a crowd of women sliding dollar bills into his unmentionables. He was beginning to understand his job too, outside of 'punch things that feel evil.' It was a difficult lesson to learn, but after punching a few trees he realized how to better decipher what an enemy looked like.

And there was one more thing Troy was seeming to improve at - reading. In fact, he found himself reading on patrol - graffiti reading "i wuz hear" in an alleyway. The graffiti caught his eye and - amazingly - he was able to detect spelling and grammatical errors within the tag. If only he could figure out where...

His struggle to find just what the errors were in the sentence perplexed and distracted him as he took a seat in the alleyway, too distracted to even notice the faint Chaos energy signature approaching.

Okay. So Troy wasn't a really good Page.

A very recent near death experience should have shaken the Negaverse lieutenant, but in all honesty it hadn't. She a building had almost fallen on her, so one of their own had died? So what? This was a war, s**t happened. Besides, she hadn't known the captain that had had a building come down on him, and she'd rather thought him a liability based on his fighting technique. Survival of the fittest was not just a saying, it was a way of life, and it tied back to the teens own belief that you had to work hard to get ahead.

So that's what she was doing, working hard. Continuing her hunt for the ever present Order aligned solider and draining the life out of poor unfortunate saps all over town.

Tonight it seemed she'd be playing with a member of the opposite side. Her head turned as she picked up the energy signature, and grinning to herself she made her way towards it. He wasn't hard to find. In fact it didn't seem as though he'd noticed her approach at all.

It never ceased to amaze the young woman how many inept or clueless fighters the side of Order seemed to recruit. It was actually even a little irritating. Here she was, alert and prepared for hell or high water, and her target stood only a few yards away, attention seemingly absorbed by an ill-written graffiti tag on the side of one of the more run down buildings of the city.

"See something you like?" Impatience had gotten the better of her, and that was clear in her tone.

Of course, he wanted to respond as he turned to the attractive young girl in a nice, tight, short skirt. But he knew she wasn't some innocent girl. She was evil - an agent of the Negaverse. Or a hooker, but he felt the Negaverse agent description was a little more appropriately fitting to her.

"I dun wanna hurt you, so ya better just back away," Troy insisted. He didn't like to hit girls, but that's all the Negaverse and Dark Mirror witches kept throwing at him. Chick after chick, and a lot of them were pretty darn cute, too. "Don't go causin' any trouble."

Hands braced on her hips, and weight shifted to one side so her figure took on an alluring curve, the lieutenant may have resembled one of the after walking women that sold their bodies to the nights, but she wouldn't have taken the comparison gracefully. In fact, she seldom took insults gracefully. It wasn't in her to simply shrug things off. No, she was the sort that liked to add insult to injury. Not her own injury, mind, but she considered the whole thing mildly poetic.

While the page was checking her out, she was taking in a little eye candy for herself. It wasn't often she ran into cute members of the opposite faction, male our female.

It was his warning that pulled her attention up from the guys chest to focus upon his face, her own falling into lines of amusement. "You don't want to hurt me? That's pretty rich." She chuckled, pulling her arms up to cross them below the Dell of her breasts in her little green dress and corset number. "And what makes you think you'll be able to hurt me? It's it cause I'm a girl? cause buddy, you better have a better reason then that."

One hand rose, and she flicked grey eyes down to her nails before back up to Troy. "The names Xenotime, for politeness sake." Long fingers flexed, curling into a fist.

A shame really, he was very cute.. maybe she'd avoid touching that handsome face.

"I'm Ri...Troy," he stopped himself from giving away his name to an enemy at the last moment. He really had to stop doing that! "Troy Page of Chronos, and it ain't just cause you're a girl, but lets call it what it is. You don't stand much of a chance against me."

He was really fit, although he may have been underestimating her own capabilities - it certainly wouldn't be surprising. He was strong and could hold his own in a bar fight, but he never had real proper combat training to prepare himself for someone who did, male or female.

"Now I'm given ya one last chance to hurry on home before you break one of them nails trying to do something stupid," he insisted.

Charcoal eyes rolled at his posturing. Really, if she had a nickel for everytime some muscle bond goon assumed underestimated her, she wouldn't have been living in the trashy party of town. She'd have liked to have said she was getting tired of that specific assumption, but it wad really much too satisfying proving people wrong.

There was no denying the guy had muscle, but there was a difference between being strong, and knowing what to do with that strength. Xenotime spent a lot of time at the gym, and although she wasn't ripped, her effort did show. She also knew damn well what to do with her hard earned strength.

"Right, because I totally give a s**t about a busted nail." The mockery was heavy in her voice, and went quite well with the condescending little smile she was aiming at him.

With a snort she dropped her hands to her sides and straightened up, one foot sliding back for balance as she waited to see what his next move would be. But what ever he did, she was ready. Come at me, bro.

She wasn't stepping down. She was calling his bluff. He didn't want to hit this girl in the slightest, particularly considering that she hadn't attacked him yet, but she was challenging him. She wanted a fight. Was it wrong to punch a girl then?

Troy still thought so, but charged forward with a clenched fist, posed to swing at the girl as soon as he got close enough. However, as soon as he got within arm's range he started to slow down planning on coming to a complete halt at the last moment. All he wanted to do was spook her out, show her what she's up against, but he never really considered that she might retaliate anyhow.

Was that conflict she see flicker across his face?

She grinned as he started forward, falling back into the familiar lines of a defensive posture. It didn't seem like she needed to bother though. His firm was sloppy, and beyond that he was beginning to slow before he'd even reached her. What the ******** was this a*****e doing?

Where his follow through was lacking, her's needed no encouragement. She was still blinking at him, features picked, when her hand shot up to drive her palm up and into his chin.

"What the ******** was that?" All his big talk, and it was nothing but a bluff.

"SHPPIIIIT!" Troy tried to cuss, but in the agent's move he had bit his tongue, causing a ridiculous swollen tongue lisp nearly instantly. If he was only frustrated before, he was angry now. She had made the first strike, which meant it was time for her to get what was coming to her. "That ain't thmart of ya, bitchth."

With that, Troy lunged forward for a full-body tackle hoping to pin the agent down to the pavement.

Ok, that was pretty damn funny.

Xenotime snorted at the lisped cursing, not quite falling out of that ready stance. She'd hit him, and he certainly appeared to be pissed. If it was her, she'd be looking to retaliate.

He didn't let her down a second time, though his form, or lack-there-of left plenty to be desired. The lieutenant had a split second to decide if she was going to let him take her down(cause it wasn't like she couldn't have fought her way free again..), or use that reckless momentum to flip him right on his a**.

The choice was an easy one. Catching his wrist as lumbered towards her, she side stepped, using his own speed against him as she twisted his arm and ducked down to throw her shoulder into his stomach. He wasn't a small guy. Hell, she'd seen the muscled potential., but he didn't really know what to do with all that strength. When she straightened she brought him up with her, tossing him over her shoulder, and turned at the same time so she could straddle his thighs, pinning him to the ground. "Come on now, are you even trying?"

I am the worst tagger.

Troy hadn't ever been mounted on by a girl before - not in this way. This was certainly not fun. He couldn't tell if the girl was trying to fight him or trying to flirt with him, although maybe he was projecting a tad. But as far as he was consciously aware, he did not want to stay pinned down.

"Get offa me," Troy demanded as he used his full strength to try and push her off and get back onto his feet. "Naw, I don't want to fight you none, but you keep being a pain for me."

A little of column A. A little of column B.

His demand made her chuckle, and she leaned forward as he bucked beneath her to try to force her off. He was strong, and he managed to lift his arms from the ground, but if all he was doing was pushing he wasn't going to have much luck. Her weight shifted, and she lowered her face down to his until they were only a few inches apart. An almost evil smile spread across her lips. "Make me."

"A pain?" She smirked, nails pressing into his wrists a little. "I could be." A tilt of her head sent violet hair falling across his cheek. "Are you into that sort of thing?"

Was she flirting with him? It seemed like it. Hell, why wouldn't she be? Troy knew what looks he had going for him, even if he turned beet red at any direct acknowledgment of it. But was this really the time for her to be flirting?

Or maybe...he could use any interest she has to his advantage. Make her drop her guard.

Troy focused for a moment to pull himself forward just enough for his lips to try and press against her own for a long smooch, hoping that would loosen her hold on him.

Beejoux
I FAIL.

They were in the middle of a cosmic war, why not live up every moment of it? Besides, she was good at multitasking. Good enough that her grip actually tightened when the page sat up enough to catch her lips in a kiss. Admittedly she had only been teasing him, but this wasn't half bad either.

If he wanted a kiss, then she'd give him one. Drawing her tongue along his lip before offering a delicate nibble. However far he was willing to go, she would follow. Enemy or not, the young man she was currently straddling was hot, and she was fairly confident that she could regain the upper hand should she feel so inclined to drop her focus from combat.

The plan may have been failing, but Troy wasn't regretting a thing about it. It wasn't the outcome he was planning on, but he had no complaints. He fought against her hold some more - but not to fight back, just to give in as he tried to move glide his hands up her thighs. He was curious to see how far they could go (anyone with knowledge of basic anatomy would observe that Troy was eager), and the thoughts of her as an enemy quickly started to slip his tiny little mind.

Troy really was terrible at his job.
