Seashore Field: Split down the middle between land and sea, this field compliments land and water type pokemon. On the west end of the field is the land section: fine grained sand gradually slopes downward to meet the salt water on the east end of the battleground. A single palm tree wavers lightly in the breeze while shells are scattered in random places in and on the sand. In the water half of the battleground, the water laps at the sand much like at a real beach; when it retracts it leaves behind strands of seaweed and pieces of coral. Both are found under the water, offering shelter for water-types (or those who can hold their breath for great periods of times). This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GROUND and WATER type attacks.

Alexa walked towards her trainer box and took in the beach scene. This would provide quite the challenge for Apolla. She released her Ninetails and waited for the other trainer to show up. "Alright Apolla. We're going to nail this one!" Apolla called out lazily not really caring about if she won or not.

"You're in your element, Kipper let's go!" Sienna called and realized her psyduck into the water. He was a bit confused at first, but then realized he could swim and began to enjoy the field.

Alexa waved at Sienna and turned to the battle. She saw Apolla take the water attack and knew that she would not be happy to be wet. "Use Energy Ball." She called out.
Apolla was drenched with the water and growled lightly. She was dripping wet and very unhappy. She drew power in from the surrounding land. She fired off a ball of energy at the duck.

Apolla was quite angry now after getting drenched with more water. "Will you stop that you little fluff ball!" She growled. She again fired another Energy Ball. After that she shook herself trying to get some of the water off.

Apolla snarled at the duck as he apologized and shot more water at her. She was knocked to the ground but she managed to get back up. She gathered more energy and shot it at him.

Apolla was knocked down and didn't get back up. She didn't have enough energy to complain about being wet. She was quickly recalled.
"That was a good battle!" Alexa called out to the other trainer before leaving.
