 The brown leopardess stared off at the open savannah, watching as prey animals floated through the grasses in the distance, the sun beating down upon their backs. But they kept walking around, seeming as if they didn't even notice the heat or the sun's glare. Her tail hung down lazily off of the thick tree branch she was snuggled up on, her legs dangling and one paw wrapped around the thickness of the branch. Her tail tip occasionally would twitch naturally as she watched over the creatures of the savannah, curiously watching their lives being lived and played out. It seemed as if everything was peaceful today, everyone either hiding out in the shade or grazing lazily under the sun.
She thought about her long lost brother, and how he was doing lately. She briefly thought about her friend, Bukaera, and imagining him stalking through the tunnels of his pride somewhere out there in the world. She thought about herself, and what she could possibly do with herself on a lazy day like today. She knew she couldn't just lay up in this tree for the entire day, just staring blankly off at the open savannah!
She stood herself up, balancing her weight on her paws as she straightened herself up on the branch. Claws outstretched, she buried them into the bark as she scampered herself down the side of the tree, landing with a heavy thud on her front paws. She shook herself off when all four paws were comfortably supporting her on the earth, allowing a large yawn to escape past her canines. She was almost ready to do something, but before that she stood up on her hind legs, slamming her fore paws into the bark of the tree and embedding her claws into its side, stretching out her forelegs and back as she let herself slide down the side of the tree as she became deadweight, her claws smoothly sliding down the tree as they attempted to hold her up.SSBrosB I apologize for making you wait all weekend for this! ((sorry for taking so long to reply!))  He hadn't really been doing anything. So far he was just watching prey scamper here and there, keeping himself concealed as he thought about whether he wanted to go and get some food. As of late while he had had quite a few meetings with other creatures, some only as big as his paw, he hadn't met any other leopards. He knew they existed, but through his wanderings so far he hadn't met up with any, even when visiting prides.
This would have worried him slightly if he didn't know that they were probably just keeping themselves concealed in trees or in the grass. And this was the rogue lands, you never knew if the one you were talking to would be your enemy. He yawned after looking up from his spot next to a light boulder. He might as well get up and do something, so he lazily got up and stretched, trying to chase away any signs of sleepiness he still had. After sitting up and looking around he spotted something near a tree, but wasn't sure as to what it was. He however was curious and decided to investigate. He could always run if need be.

After she had fully dragged her torso down the side of the tree, her body already felt so much more rejuvenated and refreshed, now awake and ready to take on whatever came her way today! She didn't quite feel like she could run forever and ever and such, but her muscles now felt properly stretched and awakened, now too antsy to stay back up in the tree. She still felt a bit stiff in her toes, so as she stood around and flicked her tail back and forth, she flexed her claws into the earth that was moist and rich beneath her pads. Everything felt so wonderful to her body and mind, her throat starting to rumble with a purr.
But before she knew it, a strange, new scent began to waft towards her nostrils. It smelled like another feline of some sort, but she couldn't currently pinpoint just which type of feline it could be. Some grasses from behind her began to make loud, not in the least sneaky rustling noises. Her ears and eyes turned to seek out the source of the sound, her eyes falling upon another leopard. It was a rather beautifully colored leopard, with rainbow markings and bright, yellow eyes. The first thing to cross her mind was Oh! They have rainbow markings, too!, for she had yet to see another feline with such color on their body.
She felt a smile grow wide across her face, her eyes locking into the approaching leopard's. Her tail slowly raised up from behind her, blinking briefly in greeting and joy. "Why, hello there~!" she purred at the other feline, her smile contagious and beaming.SSBrosB Don't be!!!! I have to apologize for my extremely late reply; school, work, and family drama just took over my life a bit unexpectedly for these past nearly two weeks. :C
