No one is mad. It is just a disappointment. It could have been waaaay better, but they just slapped a TF2 hud on one of their characters and called it TF2. Not to mention this was sort of hyped up from the promo.

I don't think people understand that it's more TFC than TF2. Sure the promo is with TF2 but last time I checked, TFC was irrelevant and TF2 was the next closest thing. I agree it could've been better, but just be happy it exists.

A transcription from memory:
Intro: Player files through the class selection screen showing off some well made models of Pyro, Soldier, Heavy, and Sniper.
Player chooses 'Nerd' Class and is promptly dropped into a game.
Spawns with... a Soldier and Scout...? (Figurines are hard to discern)
Nerd: Oh, man, oh, man okay-so guys do we come up with a plan or what- oh, you're already moving ahead? Okay.. uh..
-Nerd follows the other two as they come to a stand off behind a building. Nerd proceeds to look through his HUD and check out his weapons (a semi-auto rifle, what looked like to be a Gears of War-esque chainsaw-gun, some other nondescript pistol, and his inhaler) while a Medic with an uzi (what.) holds the main line. The soldier and 'scout' are taken out by a sudden explosion just as the Nerd finishes fiddling with his weapon selection.-
Nerd: Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Help! Help!
-Nerd runs towards the Medic-
Medic: Oh, mein Gott! You've been shot!
Nerd; What? Oh, no.. actually just sprained my ankle....
-Nerd proceeds to babble incessantly about some odd political comments about war that completely grate on the Medic's nerves to the point where the Medic draws out a semi-auto rifle and proceeds to team kill the Nerd. Screen fades to blood ala CoD kill screen-
Nerd: I'll just respawn!
-End sketch-
... neutral Why do I have that memorised so well when I've only gotten myself to watch it once?
And about it being more TFC... uh, no... it was pretty much like they took a CoD skit and replaced it with TF2 characters.
