Step 1:

Pick your code word. Something long enough, that doesn't have lots of repeats, to make a difference.

Step 2:

Set up the letters in your code word, and remove all duplicate letters that might exist.

Step 3:

Start construction on your alphabet. To do this, you go in alphabetical order from the last letter of your code word, skipping all letters already used. In this example, we begin with the letter "S".

Step 4:

Now, you have your coded alphabet. Count to make sure you only have 26 letters. These are the letters you will use in your message. At first, it might be difficult to know the difference, as your code alphabet corresponds to the normal alphabet as show below. (Blue is your new code alphabet and Red is what letters they symbolize).

Step 5:

Type your message in your code alphabet. For instance, in this example our message will be "Pancakes are delicious"

Step 6:

Other person will decode, and thus, you have a private message. Just remember your code words!
