Enza vs Farvardin [FIN]

Rolled a One: Ice field : The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks.

Kytti entered the arena and shrugged off the chill.
"So cold, but great for battles," she said as she unhooked her pokeball and threw it out onto the field.
Enza, her Larvesta, popped out of the ball and skittered around the ice and nodded.

Alexa walked into the stadium and shuddered. It was so cold in here. She looked at the ice and decided that it was a good thing she had been training up in Inhinx and had caught Farvardin in the cold. "Alright Farvardin let's do this." She said releasing her Houndour.

Farvardin appeared out of the pokeball and bounded onto the ice. She instantly began sliding around but she made a game out of it. She used the pillars to push off and she zoomed across the field.

Alexa smiled at she watched Farvardin skate around. "Alright. Let's get this started! Use Inferno!" She called out.

Farvardin was happy to comply. As she skated/skidded past the Larvesta she opened her mouth spewing a large amount of flames at it. The flames engulfed the area around Enza.

Hit by the burn, Ezna recoiled a bit.
"Let's try and even the field! Use Toxic!" Kytti cheered.
Enza nodded and built up a ball of poison and launched it towards the opponent.

"Good job Farvardin!" Alexa called out when she noticed the Larvesta was burned. She was glad that Farvardin dodged the toxic attack and she quickly thought of another attack. "Use Crunch!"

Farvardin slid across the ice and avoided the the poison ball. She then pushed off a ice pillar sliding for Enza. Her mouth opened wide so she could bite down hard.

The burn ticked on as the Larvesta dodged the next attack. She built up another ball of sludge and launched it towards the pokemon.

Alexa sighed as she watched Farvardin miss and instead bite an ice pillar. "Quit playing around!" She called out.

Farvardin fought to free her mouth from the ice and then turned just in time to dodge another poisonous ball. She gave herself a good push and went to bite at the Larvesta.

Enza felt drained after both the attack and burn hit her. She again tried to form a toxic ball and launched it towards the opponent.

Alexa tried to think of something else Farvardin could do but nothing came to mind right then.

Hearing no new commands Farvardin decided to keep on biting. She wasn't able to get enough purchase to evade the toxic ball and immediately coughed after getting hit. She felt ill, very ill now. She decided that the other pokemon tasted better than the taste in her mouth and thus tried to bite Enza.

Enza felt the burn dissipate, but was slammed by the next attack. She quickly attacked back with a swarm of weird purple and gold symbols.

Farvardin dodged the odd symbols and slid into another pillar. She glanced around for a moment feeling slight pain from the poison. She quickly shook herself and then launched herself at Enza aiming to bite her again.

Enza fainted and Kytti called her back to her pokeball.
"Great battle!" She called to the other trainer.

"Yeah good battle!" Alexa called out. She whistled to call Farvardin back to her. The Houndour pushed off of an ice pillar and rushed up to her trainer. "Good job Farvardin." She said patting her on the head. With that they left the stadium.
