Patrols just weren't as exciting as they used to be for Super Sailor Tsui. She had made several promises to others, ones that she was now realizing that she may not be able to keep. She promised she'd try to invest in purification of Chaos, but the more time she spent with talking with the Dark Mirror Court, the more she realized that they didn't WANT to be purified, or that they really weren't as bad as they seemed (well, there were one or two that she'd never want to talk to again and would go straight to the fisticuffs). She promised she'd do more to work as a team player for the White Moon Court, but here she was, again, roaming the streets alone. She had her reasons. She didn't want any of them to see her so... down, almost distraught. Her revelation with Remarque had been more scarring to her than the ambush itself. She didn't want any of her friends to see her like this, nor did she want them to be hurt if something happened... by the enemy or by herself. So, the Tiger did her usual game of solo prowls; perhaps it was simply meant to be this way. Now she was on the hunt for Chaos energy signatures, not sure what she'd do if she found one. Well, of course, Tsui would investigate and then likely get herself into another fight, which, at this point, was really tempting to her. "I need to let off some steam... just... hope it's a youma that too far gone into the crazies to feel bad about." Why did she let Remarque get in her head like that? She wasn't a thinker- she was a fighter, a grunt! Leave the thinking for the philosophical type... Beejoux Sorry this is a day or two late! I figure we can start this off like this and see where it goes and change it to REG or BAT if need be.

There was another Senshi out prowling the streets that night, and she was quick to pick up on the familiar feel of a Senshi she'd encountered before. One whom she'd been eagerly hoping to meet again after they're last run in. At the time, Navi had been enraged, vengeful, and rather blinded by her need to avenge her poor boyfriend. Tsui hadn't been the source of the pain and anger, but as an ally of Ate, she had been a convenient target. It wasn't until after the fact Navi realized how very valuable the other girl could have been to the court of mirrors. So yes, she'd been looking for Tsui, hoping for a chance to talk to the girl, though she had no doubt the other girl would remember the thrashing she'd been given and likely hold a grudge. Situating herself on the roof of a ground level shop, the Dark Mirror Senshi waited for the other girl to draw nearer. Her elbows resting upon her knees, chin balanced on interlaced fingers. The picture of patient ease as the soldier came into view along a side street. "Tiger tiger burning bright/In the forest of the night/What immortal hand or eye /Could frame thy fearful symmetry?" Her voice was calm, but in the still of the night it carried clearly. She grinned, as much for the spirited warrior she was greeting, as for her own wit and cleverness of employing the well known words of one William Blake.

It wasn't often that Tsui was taken by surprise; as the Senshi of Tigers, she should have been ashamed at just how easy it was for another to sneak up on her, and now was no exception. The moment she heard someone talk, she stopped in her march, and she looked around until her eyes caught a familiar sight, and she clenched her fists tightly to prevent herself from shuddering at the memory of this Dark Mirror Senshi. Oh, yes, she remembered Navi alright. She remembered the beating she received at her hands, all for simply being good friends with Ate. This made the Tiger senshi sneer, and she called back to the poetry-spewing Dark Mirror Senshi. "That's a very different tune than what you were singing before! Last time we met, all you wanted to do was pummel my face in..." Tsui was not so willing to forgive and forget, and this time, she was at least at the same rank level as Navi. A part of her wanted to climb up there and fight her outright, but she refrained... though why, she wasn't sure. Perhaps she had grown tired of fighting... she scoffed at the very idea. A bad senshi to run into when you didn't want to fight, Tsui thought, and she waved for Navi to come down to her level. "Speaking of, I figure I owe you a few swipes, now that I've had the chance to hone my skills and sharpen my claws."

Navi wasn't going to deny that Tsui's look of surprise wasn't satisfying, but she simply smiled all the brighter. She wasn't looking to pick a fight with the other girl, and surely a cocky attitude wouldn't help things remain civil. At the accusation she could do not but raise her hands in an exaggerated shrug, ginger curls falling across one cheek as she tipped her head. "I can't deny the truth of that, but that's certainly not what I'm after this time." Where as her tone had been hostile when last they'd meet, now she sounded curious, friendly even. When prompted to leave her perch the dark senshi obliged, dropping from the edge of the roof to land on the cement below with a solid clack of her heels. Soft lips pursed at the tiger's words, chin dipping thoughtfully. It wasn't a threat, not really, but all the same she approached the other girl warily. "In what distant deeps or skies/Burnt the fires of thine eyes? On what wings she dare aspire? What the hand dare seize the fire?" She recited a line with every slow step, arms down at her side's, hands loose. Not exactly a picture of harmlessness, but neutral at the very least. "Fair is fair," she answered at last, stopping about a yard away from the Senshi of Tigers. "My aim is to talk, but if you feel you need to get even with me before you'd be willing to listen, then by all means." Oh God, had she just invited the other girl to throw a few punches without retaliation? It appeared that way! Before Tsui had a chance to jump at the invitation though, the dmc had something she needed to say. "I owe you an apology." Navi had her faults, and plenty of them, but false pride wasn't among them. "I was angry and looking for a fight, and I took out my frustration and rage on you when you hadn't earned it." The easy smile had left her lips. "You held your own, though. Even though you were at definite disadvantage." And that was precisely why she had gone looking for the tiger.

Tsui was all TOO pleased when the Senshi of Tumbleweeds not only came down to her level, but she seemed willing to allow the chance for Tsui to get revenge of her own. No, Tsui wasn't the type to look a gift horse in the mouth, though recent ordeals had made her grow a little... suspicious... of any members of the Chaos faction. Especially Dark Mirror Senshi. Then again, what person, Chaos OR Order, would be chivalrous (or stupid) enough to allow a few hits without retaliation? No one. So it was that small bit of what Tsui figured was natural paranoia, as well as Navi's next statement that kept the Tiger senshi at bay for the time being. She was... apologizing? That seemed off, given her rage from their last encounter, but Tsui had to admit that she sounded sincere. If she could be sincere... Her fists were still clenched, but she crossed her arms over her chest, an outward sign of her confusion even though she tried to hide it behind snark. "Yeah, that's definitely a different tune from before. Reciting poetry, apologizing, offering me a few freebies..." Yes, all of that seemed suspicious, and Tsui had already been caught with her britches down so many times before. She didn't want to be caught off guard... not again, though it was always likely given how brash, naive she still was. "What's your game? Or did I -really- catch you on an off day last time?" Tsui figured it's do no harm to hold her punches... for now. Give her a chance to talk, for her sake, as well as Sutai's. They'd never end this war if they didn't listen, right?

Despite her apology Navi had readied herself for whatever the Tiger would be willing to dish out, and when no such blows came she couldn't help but look at the other girl a little curiously. She wasn't going to question it though, that would have been stupid. Thin shoulders rolled in a shrug at Tsui's observations, and Navi rekindled that gentle smile as she brought her arms up to cross across her chest, mirroring the other senshi, but far more relaxed. "Believe it or not, you did have the unfortunate luck to catch me on a really off day." A finger tapped softly against the bend of her elbow. "I'd just found out a dear friend had betrayed me, and nearly killed someone I cared about." She wasn't going to expand. Even that had been offering too much info, but if she wanted any hope of Tsui taking her seriously, she figured a little generous honesty wouldn't hurt. "That would be enough to put anyone in a vengeful mood, don't you think?" Ginger brows twitched upward, questioningly. "Believe it or not, I'm not really interested in fighting you or any of the other Senshi of the White Moon." It was counter productive to the goals of the court. Now the Knights.. They were useless to her queen. All bets were off where they were concerned. As far as her game? "Really, I'm just here to talk."

"And that someone that betrayed you was Ate, right?" It had been awhile since Tsui saw Ate... she might have seen her at the meeting, and perhaps fighting in the ambush, but honestly, outside of the group she stood with and those that she argued vehemently with, she couldn't remember all of the Senshi, Chibi(s) and knights that were there. Why bother? She was certain that she'd never see them again... perhaps that was for the best, too. She pushed them back to the dark recesses of her mind, trying to focus on the Dark Mirror Senshi that was standing before her, as it was definitely more important at the moment. "No, I guess I can't blame you for being upset," Tsui admitted, not once dropping her guarding, physically, anyway. She had no idea exactly what had happened between Navi and Ate as Ate didn't bring it up, but it appeared that by the way Navi had handled it, it wasn't good. She could sympathize... she was often fueled by her own rage at times, but thankfully, there was either a friend there to help her out of it, or... perhaps the enemy was enough to knock some sense back into her. "If anyone hurt any of my friends, I'd have a hard time not tracking the offender down and use their face for a scratching post myself." Not that Tsui ever resorted to scratching at her opponents, unless it was to dig her fingers into their eye sockets. Thankfully, she hadn't gotten that desperate, yet, but she was more likely to sock them a few times. The thought of anyone hurting Sutai... that made her blood boil, but she tried to keep a calm head on her shoulders. Easier said then done with Tsui. "Want to talk? Okay... what do you want to talk about, exactly?" Tsui wasn't much of a talker... or a listener, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to make a conscious effort. After the trialing month she had, she didn't mind the chance to talk to another Dark Mirror Senshi, and hopefully this one wouldn't have been as smooth of a talker as Remarque. No, the last thing she wanted was anymore temptations... or mind-shattering realizations. One of those was enough for this month, and November hadn't even started yet!

Although not as touchy a subject as it was, the matter with Ate still made the Senshi uneasy. They were working it out, hopefully, but Navi hadn't spoken to the other girl since the night in the park when she'd confronted her. "Yes," she answered simply, voice a touch tight. She could have expanded, but there wasn't much of a point to it unless Tsui asked specifically. Which she hoped wouldn't happen. It was a relief to hear the other girl admit that Navi had had a right to her anger, no matter how ill directed it might have been. That would make this whole conversation go so much smoother. "Thank you for that, though I shouldn't have used you as a convenient target for that anger. It wasn't your fault." Sorry or not, to gain the tiger's trust she'd have said anything, but she was sincere in her remorse for having hurt the other girl. In a way, it'd made her as guilty as Ate, and maybe in the end that's what had taken the fight out of her when she'd faced Ate. Pale lips pursed, then curled up in a soft smile as watched the other girl's face carefully, gauging her reaction. "You've probably run into other members of my court, but have you spoken with any of them at all?" She was curious about this for two reasons. one, she generally liked to know what her fellow senshi were up to, and two, If she had spoken with someone already, then there might be something already there to work off from. If Tsui had questions, maybe Navi could answer them. She also had a more unique point of view where the Dark Mirror Court and Ares were concerned.

"I've run into a fair amount of your Court... it seems you're all multiplying like rabbits from beyond the mirror," Tsui said, trying to keep up some snark even if it was a facade. In truth, she didn't want to talk to anymore of the Dark Mirror Senshi, as the more she talked with them, the more she realized that they were... human. Like herself, only with a definitive ruler at their lead. It made her bitter... maybe even jealous. No, not jealous. Annoyed, because it made her job as a White Moon Senshi even harder, to know that their enemies did share the same traits as herself. When did all of this get so complicated? "There's a small handful of you that I'd rather punch in the face than ever talked to again," Tsui said, not dropping any names. Yet. Before this night, Navi was on that list, but she had found a way to scratch herself off for now. The night was still young, and Tsui -did- owe her a few blows. So, she was willing to see how the night would go before completely excluding her from that list. "But there's a few others that I really wish weren't on your side." Once again, she excluded names. She didn't want to risk getting the few she genuinely might have liked in trouble with Ares, even if it would have meant their freedom in the end. Would Ares be the type to allow her subjects to walk away? There was one way to find out. "Do you have anyone in your court that doesn't want to be there? You know... that just don't like Ares or don't want to serve her? Would she allow them to leave? Ever?"

A chuckle followed the comparison, and she couldn't deny the accuracy. Only a year ago they're been ten of them, plus Ares. Now there were many more. Navi couldn't even hazard a guess, having never met nor even heard of a few. There was no telling how many Dark Mirror Senshi were out there now, but she was working on finding out. Pale lips pursed as Tsui continued, and she could understand the other girl's feelings. There were a few among the White Moon Senshi she wasn't fond of, though it was the Knights she really didn't like. Although lately even that anger was getting harder to hold onto. For a long time she had appreciated that the Knights couldn't be converted into her court, it meant she could exercise her malice on them to her hearts desire, but now? Now she wasn't as sure. She didn't comment though. In fact she kept quiet and let Tsui talk until the tiger asked her a question directly. "So far as I know there are no one among us that has any desire to leave our court, though I haven't met them all." A small shrug accompanied her words. "As for disliking Ares? I don't think so. No one's said anything." She frowned then, glancing at Tsui. "We don't have any reason to dislike Ares. She's not a tyrant." The last part of Tsui's question was a little harder. "I'm honestly not sure if we could walk away, but I guess I'd have to ask if anyone of us could? Can anyone really chose to stop being a senshi, or a knight, or an agent of the negaverse?" Ginger brows dipped in thought. "I suppose you can always choose to just not power up. I'm not sure what Ares would do, but she's not violent, she doesn't threaten us."

"No one? Not a single one would want to leave?" Tsui wasn't heartbroken to hear that; no, the closest she got was disappointed, followed immediately by frustration. This whole ordeal was a waste of time... how many Dark Mirror Senshi had she run into by now that seemed perfectly content with their lot in life? Where were the ones that Sutai had mentioned? It was all too frustrating for Tsui to want to bother with... She tried her best to hide her frustration though, in case Navi was observant and would try to use it against her. In response to her statement about choosing to not power up, Tsui couldn't deny the wisdom in that statement. "I couldn't give up this life, even if I tried. Go back to being boring ol' civilian? No thanks... I got nothing there that I'm willing to give up a life of adventure and thrills for." 'Except maybe Maddy... and my Mom... and my baby brother or sister.'She kept all of that to herself, trying not to let her mind wonder and drop her guard, though Navi was being extremely open to the conversation. Considering the bruises she walked away with the last time they met, this was definitely a sign of improvement. "Now, I was told otherwise about Ares. Not that she abuses you or anything, but that she rules over you with threats and the use of her power. Either I was told wrong, or she's trying to hide that side of herself to you?"

"No, none." Navi frowned, watching Tsui from the corner of her eye. "Why do you think there should be?" It seemed to the DMC that some one among the White Moon Court was feeding everyone on that side very biased, and inaccurate, information. Not surprising, not really. If the truth was more readily known Navi had no doubt they'd be having better luck recruiting people.. "Ares has never threatened me, and I've never heard of her threatening anyone elder either. She's very understanding." Navi paused, remembering the cupcakes she'd baked fir everyone last Christmas. "She cafes for us. Takes care of us and acts kind of like mother." She shrugged, frowning. "Someone's lying to you." Tsui was wise to hide her emotions, because Navi would have used anything she saw in the other girl's expression to her advantage. It was manipulative, but the ginger haired ten didn't really see it like that. She was trying to free Tsui from the redundancy and aimless workings of the White Moon and its absent monarch. To her it was odd that it was so very difficult to find those that discontent and curious. If she herself had been awakened into order she'd have gotten fed up with the entire operation ages ago. "I couldn't give it up either. Circumstances left me unable to return to a life with my parents or old friends. But I was given a new life, with purpose, and a new family. One I wouldn't trade for anything." She turned her head enough to meet Tsui's eyes, pace slowing some. "Not even my old life." It might not have always been true, especially right after she'd moved in with Quinn, but it was now. Navi loved her life, her friends. She loved her queen, and the ideals the woman shared with them. She could no longer imagine her life as it was.

"You're serious about that? The whole not trading it for anything part..." Tsui could understand her sentiments, to an extent. In truth, Tsui wanted nothing more than to get out of having to go to school, or do regular, boring civilian things. Why should she have to bother with homework when there was a war going on? Sure, after the war she may have needed to focus on that, but she wasn't that naive. This war would never end. Even if one side one, chances are, there was something else lurking in the shadows that would force them all back into the fight. And Tsui enjoyed the fight. Not the killing or mindless destruction, but the thrill of combat, engaging another in a fight, even if she lost (which she did, a lot more times than she was willing to admit). It was so much harder to put down her weapons (even her fists) than it was to raise them, and that only made Tsui all the more uncomfortable. "If I could get rid of having to go to school, maybe I'd consider it." Consider joining the Dark Mirror Court? Never. Not even if it meant to not have to go to school any longer and deal with her mundane life outside of the suit. It was such a petty reason, so Tsui thought little off it and played it off as a joke. "Who am I kidding? I'd miss my family and pet too much." The thought of leaving Maddy and Micah, and never seeing her mother again... she didn't want to think about it. Stupid Navi, getting inside her head. Between her and Remarque, Tsui wasn't sure which one would be the one to finally break through, but she forced the thought aside. She cleared her throat, addressing Navi as though she never even considered, even for a moment, switching sides. She may not have liked the White Moon Court as a whole, but she couldn't imagine joining the Dark Mirror Court either. Kallichore would never forgive her. She'd never forgive herself... for betraying Sutai. "Well, maybe you're right. There's someone in your ranks spreading lies, but maybe it's just a ruse to get Senshi like myself getting caught up in a struggle that they'll never win. If you and others are happy, REALLY happy with Ares, then who the hell am I to try to talk you out of that?" Tsui wasn't willing to give names, on the very slim off chance that the Dark Mirror Senshi that spoke with Sutai was telling the truth. Ares may not have harmed him or her, but given Navi's temper and loyalty, she didn't want to risk her or another disciplining him. "If you're happy with your lot in life, then good for you." Tsui didn't want to talk anymore. Life was so much easier when all she did was throw punches and block out what everyone else was saying. She didn't need anyone else filling her heads with the unorganized mess that was the White Moon Court... she figured THAT much out herself!

Navi chuckled, she couldn't help it. "Oh, we all still have civilian lives to worry over. Students still have to go to classes, and those with jobs still have to work to earn their pay checks." Some things never changed, unfortunately. Ares did fund those of them that were now on their own but still in school or unable to hold down a job for whatever reason. Navi herself was entering her first year at DCU, and she didn't have a job outside of being a student. She didn't mention this though. If she was going to talk someone into joining their ranks, she didn't want that to be a reason. She couldn't say much when Tsui mentioned missing her family too much to switch sides. Navi hadn't had a choice in the matter, but she had also made up her mind that she wouldn't give up her life now for a chance at her old life again. She had purpose now, something to fight for, and that meant a lot. "I won't argue that it's hard choice to make, and it wouldn't come without sacrifice, but what wouldn't you give for a chance at a life with purpose and order? Something to live and die for, something worth believing in?" Curiosity made her long to ask who it was among their court spreading such rumors, and why, but she got the impression Tsui didn't want to name names. She had done well up to this point to keep their conversation calm, and she wasn't about to jeopardize that. It also wasn't hard to tell the tiger was growing tried of talking. "I think we've discussed enough for the night," she said after a moment of quiet, and with a smile at the other super she moved to walk past her, then turned to face her again. "Hopefully I've managed to shed some light on a few things that had been unclear before." chibigingi I think this one is almost finished?

Tsui would have given up a lot of things for a solid purpose, to not fight for a lost cause. She'd never openly admit it with Navi- her pride simply wouldn't allow it the chance to come out, not without a rougher approach. She didn't hate the White Moon Court, even after all of the infighting and the frustrations she felt during that terrible meeting. She'd be happy to never see a lot of them again, but she didn't wish harm upon them, nor would she be hesitant to lend a hand to help (even if it was only to rub it in their face afterwards). But... she couldn't deny that she felt like she was getting no where in her court, that in the grand scheme of things, she wasn't important. It was all just too heavy for Tsui to handle, and never one to know how to deal with such emotions she wasn't used to, she did the only thing that she felt good at. She curled her fist into a tight ball, and without warning, swung at the trash can that was next to them with a shout. As the can and its contents went flying here and there, Tsui could only hope that the only emotion that could be heard was her anger, and not the underlying frustration that truly fueled that strike. Once the can had stopped rolling, Tsui gave a huff and turned away, a stubborn act of defiance, as though nothing that Navi said had gotten to her (though anyone with two working brain cells could see just how deep those words truly struck her.) "I'll think about everything you said," Tsui said, finally, when she felt she had a strong enough leash on her emotions to where she wouldn't strike at anything again. Yes, she owed Navi a punch, but tonight she just wasn't in the mood. Besides, she was so pissed that she wasn't sure if a punch to the face would send her head flying, but Navi was far stronger then that, she thought. One could hear the disdain in her voice, as she walked away. "But I make no promises..." With that, Tsui took off into a jog and jumped behind a fence, glancing around and hoping that Navi wouldn't follow or that others weren't listening. She felt an array of emotions that she didn't want to think she was capable of having, and like hell she wanted an ally to think any less of her, or perhaps an enemy to try and take advantage of that. 'Dammit, I'm the Senshi of Tigers! I can't be weak! Why the hell did I even listen to her...? What the hell is wrong with me?'Beejoux Yep, sounds good to me! ^_^ Consider it wrapped on my end then!
