Personality: While his exterior paints him as stern and serious person, Anubis is rather calm and mellow. The god of the dead even has his own sense of humor, though it's a grim and morbid sense of humor with the lightest form being sarcasm. He isn't without his moments heated anger though. Brief History: Son of Nephthys (Goddess of Lamentation) and speculated son of Osiris, Anubis is the god of the dead; protector of the dead and embalming. After Osiris was first killed, Anubis took on the role of lord of the dead. After Osiris was resurrected, Anubis handed the title over and took up the role of being the god of embalming and weigher of souls. However, with the coming of Osiris' disappearance, the god the funerary rituals has become worried. Without someone to judge the dead souls, the planes between could get out of hand. Now the jackal-headed god has enlisted the help of his followers to find the god of the afterlife's whereabouts.
