Chrysanthemums, often called mums or chrysanths, are perennial flowering plants of the genus Chrysanthemum in the family Asteraceae which are native to Asia and northeastern Europe.
In some countries of Europe (France, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Poland, Hungary, and Croatia), incurve chrysanthemums are symbolic of death and are used only for funerals or on graves, while other types carry no such symbolism. Similarly, in China, Japan and Korea, white chrysanthemums are symbolic of lamentation and/or grief. The chrysanthemum is also considered to be the seasonal flower of September in Japan.
Chrysanthemum is one of the "Four Gentlemen" in China. They are most typically depicted in traditional ink and wash painting, and as they represent the four different seasons (the orchid for spring, the bamboo for summer, the chrysanthemum for autumn, and the plum blossom for winter), the four are used to depict the unfolding of the seasons through the year.

Hair :: Very dark brown, it appears black in areas with low lighting. Length wise, it's a bit past her shoulders. She always tries to keep it long enough to pull back for when she's working in the bakery. Her bangs are long, and there are shorter pieces of hair that are cut to frame her face.
Eye Color :: Surprisingly vibrant medium blue.
Skin Tone :: Rather pale, she spends most of her time indoors, and prefers to avoid going out during the warmer seasons.
Body Build :: Tall and slim, but not weak by any means.
Height :: 5' 8" / 172.5 cm
Weight :: 138 lbs. / 62.6 kg don't you know it's impolite to ask for a lady's weight?
Likes :: people watching, hot tea, sleeping, her little sister, most forms of instrumental/classical music
Dislikes :: her family's cat, her assorted plant-based allergies, confrontation, a dirty or cluttered workspace, physical pain of any sort
Personality :: Jocelynn is a very open and affable person. She may seem a bit reserved or quiet upon first meetings, however that changes easily once she warms up to you. (Which is generally very quickly.) She has very strong loyalty towards those she cares about, and is usually willing to go out of her way to help them. Because of that loyalty, she also makes for a good confidante. If a secret is told to her, she will take it to the grave before breaking that trust, even if the relationship with the person who told it to her becomes strained or is broken off altogether. Unfortunately, Jocelynn is also prone to mood swings; and as such is prone to sometimes inexplicably fall into bouts of depression. She can be equated to something akin to a crab or turtle; when encountering something unpleasant or trying she will retreat into her shell and become evasive or distant. Make no mistake however, she won't simply hide in her shell forever, she is more than capable of defending herself both verbally or even physically should she be pushed to or over the edge.

Familiar Places/ FacesFor any images provided, please disregard any appliances that do not exist in in the Life Dust Universe.《 The Baker's Apartment 》[Floor Plan]
After moving to the floating city of Aimes, Jocelynn floundered a bit before getting everything in order and taking a part time baking job at a joint cafe and bakery. She couch crashed at an acquaintance of her family's until she had accumulated enough money to find an apartment of her own. She decided to get this two bedroom apartment plan just in case her parents decided to drop by on her like they had jokingly promised to do when she decided to move our of the small village where she was born. The interior is furnished with functional, if not "well loved" furniture that she managed to convince the Cafe/Bakery owner to give her when he decided to completely redo the entire cafe several months after she was hired.
《 The Gima Family Home 》Located several hours of travel from Siren's Shore is Jocelynn's hometown… or rather village. The entirety of her family still lives there in their home, and she occasionally receives letters from them asking about how she's doing. It's a single story house that her father saved up to buy before even proposing to Jocelynn's mother. The place has an overall cozy and welcoming feel to it. The living room/ den is what the home opens up to when you enter through the front door, the fireplace built into the far corner to the left side of the room. on the other side of the room there is a large wooden table where the family and ay guests would eat. The hallway into the rear of the house, and consequently all of the personal rooms, connects with the modestly sized kitchen as well. There is a kiln located behind the house that is used by Jocelynn's mother for her ceramic works.
《 The Cafe and Bakery 》The Cafe and Bakery that Jocelynn is currently employed at has no name. Quite literally, there is no fancy sign above the door that advertises the place, only a small wooden sign that is leaned against the wall in front of the entrance that simply reads: Cafe Aimes. Most locals already know of the place, and it seems to have a loyal base of customers that make it rather successful. When passing by, the smell of freshly baked bread and coffee waft out through the open door into the street. The interior is quaintly decorated with dark wood tables and chairs, soft cream tablecloths and furnishings, and generally the bright rays of sunshine that come through the large windows at the front of the cafe. Jocelynn spends a large majority of her time in the back handling the making of most of the baked goods used and sold in the restaurant.
