((OOC - READ FIRST:
Note #1 There are some OOC notes some people should know that may effect their reactions from their Nchi! First of all, for those who don't know /have forgotten, the Nchi pride was built at the same time / next door to their beloved neighbors, the Mtaishi'Miele. The Mtaishi have since disbanded in part due to the flooding. Mwokoti was a known "guardian" of the Mtaishi and deemed herself a protector of the Nchi as well.
Nchi members who have been around a while should at the very least know of her and have probably seen her in passing, especially during the original rule of Nsundu (mother of Kitambi, grandmother of Nantale) who remains best friends (and currently, travel parents) with the original Mtaishi queen, Sen.
Because Mwokoti is Goddess of the Lost, she also kept very careful tabs on the location of Mtaishi and Nchi children (cubs and juves) with a wanderlust. You are more than welcome to assume your lion(ess), as a cub / juve from the Nsundu era, could have accidentally wandered too far and been brought back home by Mwokoti. During Nsundu's rule, this was more commonplace as there were less nannies to keep an eye on them 24/7.)
Note #2 Mwokoti is a Goddess. She is big and roars loud. Unless your Nchi member is for some reason out of the pride (hunting, so on), or sleeps with their head in the dirt, they will hear her. It is assumed that even characters who do not post are in attendance for this "meeting". Which means, yes, anyone's character can reference it in an RP after the ORP is over!
Note #3 The IC timespan of this RP will not be long. OOC, you will have until Friday -- the 9th of November -- to post the 18th to post. (Hope forgot it was election week in the states, derp.) This is to keep from having a neverending ORP. XD

Nothing indicated that morning would be anything but the start of another day for the jovial, melodious members of the Nchi. The peaceful atmosphere, the calm winds, this and more suggested a day aspiring to feel routine. Therefore, the booming roar that shook the ground like a tremor from an Earthquake was all the more startling. The sound was not one trumpeting a battle; it simply beckoned all present to hear it.
Mwokoti had landed just in front of the borders and crossed them on foot. For a Goddess, she was small -- but a small Goddess was still twice the size of a most mortals, and that commanded attention. She was no stranger to these lands. Once, she had been something of an unofficial guardian, keeping watch on them as she did their neighbors, the Mtaishi. Her presence had been an absent one since Nsundu and Sen had passed down their leadership and left together.
She did not recognize many of the lions -- and other assorted predators and their familiars -- here now. To calmly and quietly collect them, though true to her nature, was impractical. That was when she roared instead.
As the pride began to gather, she folded back her mammoth wings and glanced over the sea of faces. Despite the loss of their leaders and the hardship of natural disasters, they were still in tact. That meant someone was running things. She needed to know who.
At random, she approached a nearby member. "Tell me, child, who is leading you now?"
((OOC: The character to post after this is the one Mwokoti is asking.))

What she lacked in size amongst her Godly brothers and sisters she made up for in manners. Mwokoti, Goddess or not, bowed her head to Kirja. She truly appreciated the quick, pleasant response, but had expected nothing less from this pride. Mwokoti's domain did not allow her to pick favorites or stay put, but if she were able, she may have one day called the Nchi home.
"Bring me Mawi," Mwokoti said. Her voice was soft like a loving mother's now that noisy interruptions were no longer necessary to garner attention. "Tell her I have found Kitambi, her mate, and their daughter."
Turning from Kirja, she inspected the members more as individuals than a group. Her gaze locked onto a certain lioness in particular. Ngoma was a stranger to her, but Mwokoti could sense she was fit for a very important job. "May I ask your help?"

The roar brought curiosity to Umeme'lalio's ears. She moved towards where everyone else was going to see the goddess. She was amazed to see the goddess, only because she hadn't seen her in a while. Umeme'lalio had forgotten the last time she had seen the goddess, now that she thought about it. Though something seemed to be happening, that Umeme had yet to realize. She watched for a moment or two. While she had approached she had seen a lioness run off as if to fetch someone. Yet she hadn't a clue who, as of yet.
Silently, Umeme'lalio looked about the other faces, some new, some who she had known a very long time. She wanted to ask what was going on, but she had a feeling she'd find out soon enough.
Soon her sister came in view, and more curiosity seemed to brew. Umeme knew to keep her voice to herself though, she didn't want to get in the way of anything..
Ziko'roli had been started by a sudden loud roar. Never had he heard something so... strong. Him being knew, he didn't have time to get all the history from the old members. Though now, he was feeling he was missing something quite important. He watched as other pride members started going towards the roar. Was that wise?
He followed, just in case it was something that he needed to do. His ears were back, and he had a bit of panic on his face. "What's going on?" he tried to ask as he got into where everyone else was. His question washed out of his mind when he saw the goddess. He had no clue what she was, other then a lioness with wings. Though, he kinda stood there with his mouth half opened, and in a gaze of sock. She was huge, at least compared to everyone else.
Was that who made the roar? He had no clue, but it seemed everyone else did. Someone else but him... He had his xylophone hanging from his neck, with the two sticks tied to the side. He looked around again wide eyed, yet voices seemed to go right through him, and he couldn't understand anything that was happening.

"...and so I said, What? Baboon got your tongue?" A gaggle of laughter burst up around Fyffe, only causing his already inflated ego to shine through a grin. Oh yes, life was good. Ever since the pride had started to pull itself back together after the flood, he'd started to make himself the center of attention once again and his hard work had just begun to pay off. After all, what more could a male ask for than to be surrounded by beautiful-
That loud, booming roar made him tense. After exchanging a quick look to his posse, the young male made a beeline for the drum circle. He wasn't sure what was going on, or what he would find, but he knew without a doubt that his family would be in the middle of it. If there was one thing he loved more than attention it was his family. He would have killed to keep them safe, but after seeing the Goddess he was beginning to rethink that statement.
"Holy-" He caught himself before saying something truly awful, and gulped instead. Fyffe slipped in beside his relatives.

"Very well, Ngoma," said the Goddess. She spared a glance to each and every pride member as they appeared, but there were those on whom her eyes lingered longest. Among them, Umeme'lalio. Mwokoti remembered this one. There were others, too, and she frowned when all of them were not accounted for. Had they lost any to the flood? It seemed unreasonable to think they hadn't, but even the Gods could be hopeless idealists sometimes. She supposed it wasn't out of the question some were hunting or had chosen to migrate elsewhere.
To these mortals, Mwokoti appeared very distracted. Just before Mawi arrived, she spoke again to Ngoma. "I have found your queen, though I know she has another title here. You will follow me to the Rogue Lands and help lead her back. The trip will take ten sunsets. Bring with you two companions, but no more and no less. Go now and choose them."
"Mwokoti?"
For the first time since her arrival, Mwokoti smiled. It was a sad, but sincere expression of gratitude. Kitambi would be pleased Mawi was in such acceptable condition. Fate not been kind to her pride, but it had shown mercy on this lioness. Her health was with her, and soon, her friend would be too.
As with her daughter, Mwokoti bowed her head to her. "Mawi, hello. I have found Kitambi. She will be returning soon. She and her mate were injured and frightened, but have healed. Their daughter... less so."
