Roll an Eleven: Canyon Field: The canyon walls towers high towards the ceiling while the ground sinks downwards several levels, making the top and bottom of the field very difficult to see without special equipment. The cliff faces are very steep with little ridge support for grabbing and climbing; on top of that, the rock faces are very damp which makes grabbing and holding on very difficult. A few skinny trees and roots jut out from the cliff and allow smaller, nimbler pokemon to grab and swing around. At the very bottom of the canyon’s long drop is a deep pool of water. Keeping up is difficult for trainers on this particular battlefield, so stadium officials have set up a special view screen on each of the trainer platforms. A mini camera will follow your pokemon around while it battles (of course, it’s programmed to back off when a pokemon does an attack) and the view screen will enable trainers to issue commands to their companions via microphone. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FLYING and ROCK type attacks.

Kytti walked into the arena, frowned and tossed her pokeball out to the arena. Larvesta popped out and surveyed the field with disdain.
"I know Enza, but we will make the best of it!" chirped Kytti.
Enza just skittered around and waited for her opponent.

Shina entered the stadium and laughed. "I swear, using Rasha is a guarantee of the Canyon field!" she said as she tossed Rasha's pokeball out. The horse looked around the field and snorted, ears flat.

"Rasha, let's squish that bug! Stomp!" Shina called. Rasha charged forward, rearing at the last moment and lashing out with her front hooves.

Enza barely dodged the stomp by the Ponyta. Angered by the attack, Enza skittered away to one side and cleared her mind.

"Iron Tail! Don't let it raise its defense!" Shina ordered. Rasha charged, pivoting to swipe her tail at the fire bug.

Enza felt her defenses drop and tried to calm herself while she skittered to one side.

Enza shook her head as her defenses were dropped again. It scowled towards the opponent and built up a sludge of poison and launched it at the opponent.

Rasha dodged most of the sludge, but a bit splashed on her. She shook it off, then charged forward and tried to stomp the Larvesta again.
