Second-hand Stores - It might've started out as a means to obtain killer vintage tees, or maybe he'd wandered in to a Good Will on a whim one day and found few things to his liking. Ax can't remember how it started, but the when really isn't all that important. You never know what you'll find at a consignment shop, and Ax has walked away with some amazing scores in the past; from name brand, off the rack designer jeans, to mint condition collectables he can turn around and sell on eBay. A good portion of his wardrobe consists of items he's picked up at a fraction of the retail price, and rarely will you find the guy roaming around such places as the mall.
Videogames - Critical hit! One of Axton's biggest hobbies, and the consumer of the major of his free time, are video games. FPS, RPG, fighting, whatever the genera, Ax wants to play it. He's saved countless princesses, double tapped a s**t-ton of zombies, and sniped the hell out of endless platoons of invading enemy forces. His bedroom is home to every popular gaming consul out there, and he's also built himself a pretty rockin multi monitor gaming pc. It's almost gone past the point of being a pastime, and is intact bordering on an addiction.
Reddit - Another colossal waste of Axton's time is the popular internet forum Reddit. It's extremely easy to hop onto the site to kill a few minutes, then realize you've managed to waste three hours going through each and every blue link on every page. And don't even get him stated on karma. He's not exactly a karma whore, but he's worked a little harder then he'd like to admit trying to get the perfect shot of a something cute or bizarre.
Virtues:
Easy going - Hakuna Matata. Oh sure, it's a silly Disney quote, but it's something Axton lives by. No worries, that's his motto. He doesn't let a whole lot get under his skin, and he's an absolute pro at living in the moment. Where ever he goes, whatever situation he finds himself in, he'll do his best to make the most of it and have a good time. He doesn't see a whole lot of point in worrying about every silly little thing that life throws at him. There will always be strife and mayhem in the world, but Ax prefers to focus on the positive, rather then the negative.
Open minded - Live and let live. What ever you choose to believe in, whomever you choose to love, that's your right. Ax doesn't give a damn about political views, religion, or sexual orientation. He's just not a judgemental sort of guy. It's not his place to say what a person should do, or think, or feel.
Along with this comes a complete willingness to try new things. Be they exotic foods, new music, or hobbies he would have never considered orr even known about.
Patient - Think Zen. Ax could be on a plane, in coach, over the engine, with a screaming baby in the next row over, and he'd just sink a little further into his chair and pop his ear buds in. He doesn't mind lines, or waiting for things to happen. He's even great with kids, specially his own little brother. What some might consider annoying or juvenile, Ax finds cute or amusing. He doesn't see a point in hurrying things along or rushing about, and he likes to believe good things come to those to wait.
Flaws:
Forgetful - Now, where did I put my keys? Ax would forget his own head if it wasn't attached to his shoulders. He loses things constantly, and has to be sure to write important things down to keep from forgetting them. He just finds it so damn hard to worry over dates or times, or even simple things like where he set his phone down. If he doesn't take very careful notes in class come exam time, he's s**t out of luck, cause during lectures things just go in one ear, and out the other. He's even forget to pick his poor little brother up after school, which he still gets flack for despite having apologized profusely and made amends by buying him a new action figure doll.
Apathetic - when you don't let a whole lot get to you, it starts to become difficult to sympathize with people, particularly people he doesn't know well. The worries of the world aren't really any of Axton's concern, and even if they were, there wouldn't be a whole lot he could do about it. Because of this it's easy for him to come off tactless at times, or even insensitive. It's not his intention, but your personal issues aren't any of his business, and its not his concern if you're having a bad day. If you're looking for a shoulder to cry on, or a sympathetic ear, you're barking up the wrong tree.
Unmotivated - It's due tomorrow? Eh, I'll do it later. Why do today, what you can put off till tomorrow. Ax likes to live in the here and the now, and deadlines and due dated are of little concern to this young man. It's a terrible trait for college student, and even worst for an adult, and with any luck he'll eventually grow out of it. For now though, he'll be the guy that puts off his report till the night before it's due, and the person that stays at the same position of a rather dead end job, cause he lacks a drive to better himself. Hell, he's only enrolled in college because it was that, or be forced to move out and get a real job, and Axton isn't quite ready for that.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Pale grey, and friendly.
Hair: white blonde, he usually rocks a faux-hawk, but occasionally he'll just buzz it short.
Face: oval, not overly defined, very open and emotive.
Clothes: Ax is a jeans and t-shirt kind of guy. He usually prefers graphic tees, be they game related, pop culture, band, or comic inspired. He's not afraid of accessories, and he's got a very worn leather cuff bracelet he almost never goes without, and a beaded necklace he found in some thrift store.
