At a place where the river thins and slows down to a gentle flow there is a deep pool of clear water that would be useful for swimming, soft moss covers every available source of rock and ground except for a small expanse of sandy beach to one side. A wide path leads from the pool back to the rest of the forest. (Original Post By Mistress of Monsters)

Life is so short, and the time we have with it precious. Maybe we shouldn't waste it with pointless fighting and judgement. Kaina Maybell Scythe ╔══════════════╗ Because I have a passion for living, A love for everyone and everything That burns brighter then any star. ╚══════════════╝ -|-------|-----------|----------|--------|--------|----------|--------|---------|---------|---------|--------|--------|- It was cold, freezing really, the air carrying a chill that settled deep in ones bones making them ache. At least, it felt that way to the girl walking through the woods in the direction of the town. She really shouldn't have been out and about, at least, not on her own anyways, but she was and she was definitely beginning to regret it. However, sitting still all day wasn't something the wolf wanted to do, and it had become too much for her. In fact, it was actually rather odd, since usually the wolf was content staying in or near the cabin. Today however, she couldn't bear sitting still, her body itching to be on the move, to go outside, and not just the outside in the garden kind. She wanted to run, and be free just for a bit.
Kaina however knew that it wasn't a good idea to run, not with her condition. She would have probably passed out on the ground and never woken back up afterwards. As it was already, she was shivering rather violently and wrapping her arms about herself, her feet sliding through the dead leaves and underbrush rather than actually lifting off the ground to make steps. The she wolf, her rose scent a bit heavier now that she was out in the cold air, had to pause, her breathing heavy as puffs of visible air slid from her lips and slowly drifted up, vanishing. The air was unusually light, as though her body was in an unusually high fever.
"Oh...I don't even know if I'm going in the proper direction anymore. I probably shouldn't have left the cabin, but my brothers haven't been home in a few days, and I couldn't sit by at home without groceries and I'm sure Esther would like for me to show up at the shop. Oh...I'm cold."
She whimpered out softly, now unconsciously following the sound of water lightly trickling over rocks and against the banks of some source of water she hadn't noticed before. Suddenly she became aware of where she was, and she stopped, staring down the edge of a small hill and into the crystal clear water of the forest pool, where the river water is actually calm and quiet. Why she was there, Kaina wasn't sure, but apparently her body had wanted her to come in this direction. For a moment she simply stood there and stared, but then eventually she started moving again, lifting a hand to use a thinner part of a nearby tree trunk to balance herself out as she carefully moved down the hill. Each time she could no longer hold onto a tree she would quickly and carefully reach out to another until there were no longer any to hold onto.
Finally she reached where a tree seemed to have fallen, creating a natural bridge down to a large stone covered in moss. Knowing full well that the log was probably slippery she carefully lowered herself onto it, turning over to crawl backwards, fingernails dug into the sides of the wood as she moved. Finally she felt her foot hit the boulder, and she slid it back and shifted along with it until she was crouching on the mossy rock. Dichromatic eyes stared down blankly at the soft coating of green present on the stone, one a soft honey brown the other a shade of peridot. With barely a thought she reached a hand down, placing it lightly over top of it, running her fingers over the surprisingly warm greenery that was, shockingly, dry and soft. A small smile slid onto her face as she carefully slid into a sitting position, hands flat on the rock and eyes flickering over the water that lazily wondered by.
Kaina wondered when the the water might freeze over. -|-------|-----------|----------|--------|--------|----------|--------|---------|---------|---------|--------|--------|- ╔══════════════╗ It is an unbreakable passion A love that cannot be burned away, By even the hottest of flames.. ╚══════════════╝ I believe everyone deserves a fair chance at trust, no matter what others say. After all, in this world, we can't afford to fight, to lose everything.

╔═══════════════╗ I was standing All alone against the world outside You were searching For a place to hide ╚═══════════════╝ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂ ❂
The moment they stepped out the door, both Esther and Allen shivered at the same time. It’s been a long time since Esther has been out of the shop. And it’s Allen’s first time to see any aspect of Lone Town. So today is kind of special for the both of them. As far as everyone knew, they needed the time to go out and have a day to relax. After all that has happened they are all they have left. It’s almost been two weeks since their parents died and since Allen arrived to come live with her. The day when Allen finally warmed up to her was also their saddest because they realized how much the lost of their parents has affected them. That’s why Esther decided to go out today. They’ve been cooped up in the apartment for so long that a day of fresh air was needed. As they walked through the town, they were greeted by the townspeople. They all gave their “hellos” and “how are you’s”. And a number of people took a few minutes to introduce themselves to Allen. Although, he would just shy away from them and refuse to greet them properly, only giving them a small nod; which meant that it was up to his sister to conduct the introductions.
As they reached the edge of town, Allen gripped Esther’s hand tightly and looked up at her. “Big sister, where are we going? Beyond the town is just forest right?” he said wearily. Looking down at him she smiled and kneeled down to him at eye level. Grabbing his hands, she placed them between her own and rubbed them, giving them some extra warmth. “I am taking you to one of my favorite places in the whole world,” she said happily. She saw Allen’s eyes widen with surprise, “You’re favorite place? But why?” he asked. Esther cocked her head to the side still smiling, “Of course because I want to share it with you.” His eyes just widened even more with surprise. Then suddenly he felt happy and excited. As she stood back up he gripped her hand tightly once again as they entered the forest together.
On a cold day like this, Esther can’t help but stare in awe at how gorgeous the forest looked at this time of year. To her, the trees look even more vibrant than in summer or spring. Allen had the same reaction. He was completely in awe at how big the forest is; after all, he did grow up in the city. “It’s deep in the forest and close to the mountain. All of the locals, especially our wolf pack, know these woods like the back of our hand. And soon you will too,” she said. Allen just nodded up at her, “Like the back of my hand?” he though t as he looked at the back of his hand. Because of his powers, Esther knew what he was thinking, “It’s a metaphor. When someone says, ‘like the back of your hand,’ it means to know very well. In time, the forest and this mountain will become familiar to you,” she replied. With that, Esther pulled Allen along to her favorite place.
As they walked through the woods, Esther kept in mind not to go too fast for Allen so that he wouldn’t get too tired. Surprisingly, Allen wasn’t tired and was able to keep up the whole time. To be honest, she was really impressed. Stopping for a brief moment, Esther pointed in front of her. “It’s not far now. It’s just up this hill and past those trees,” she said. Allen looked towards the direction his big sister pointed out. His eyes widened with excitement and a big smile formed on his face, “Then what are we waiting for let’s go!” he shouting, letting go of Esther’s hand to run ahead. “Ah! Allen, wait! Don’t run so fast, you might slip and fall! Allen, hold on!” she shouted as she ran after him. Meanwhile, Allen was able to go past the trees and found himself at an open space. The sight caused him to smile happily. What he saw was a pool of water surrounded by moss covered rocks and trees. The moss wasn’t just green because they came in an array of colors. “Wow! This is so awesome!” he shouted with delight as he ran towards an especially big rock that was almost completely covered in moss. He started to run around it when he almost ran into someone, causing the person to look up at him. Allen didn’t take kind to strangers, so he became immediately wary of the stranger. Tears formed in his eyes and he was on the verge of crying because he didn’t know what to do.
As she finally made it to the Forest Pool, she took a few seconds to catch her breathe. Looking around, she searched for her brother. “Allen? Where are you?” she shouted. Finally, her eyes rested on him next to the large moss covered rock and she ran to him. “There you are. You shouldn’t run off like that. It’s dangerous,” she said calmly but firmly. Noticing that her brother was tense and started to back away from whatever he was looking at she asked, “Allen? What is it?” Suddenly, he turned fully towards her and hid behind her. Through touch, he cried for his sister, “Big sister! There’s someone else here!” he shouted. “Huh?” she said as she placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. Moving around the rock, her eyes met the said person Allen was talking about, “Eh...Ah! Kaina, it’s you!” she said happily. Walking up towards her friend, she looked back down at Allen, “It’s okay, she’s a friend of mine,” she said reassuringly. Looking back at her friend she greeted her happily, “It’s been so long. How have you been? Are you sure you should be out in this weather? You know you’re brothers will be furious with you that you left the cabin,” she said as she felt Allen grip tightly on to her shirt still hiding behind her.

Life is so short, and the time we have with it precious. Maybe we shouldn't waste it with pointless fighting and judgement. Kaina Maybell Scythe ╔══════════════╗ Because I have a passion for living, A love for everyone and everything That burns brighter then any star. ╚══════════════╝ -|-------|-----------|----------|--------|--------|----------|--------|---------|---------|---------|--------|--------|- Startled, Kaina turned slightly, watching as a young boy ran near the rock she was knelt on. It worried her for a moment, because the stone was surrounded by water on pretty much every side but one. However before she could say something, he seemed to move away from her rather quickly, tears building in his eyes but not falling. The she wolf felt terrible, realizing she had somehow managed to scare him, though she didn't know how she had done so and was about to apologize, when he suddenly clung to someone. A familiar scent reached her and she paused, trying to place it until the other spoke. Her head snapped up and she suddenly smiled, a bright warm one that reached her eyes, but didn't completely cover the pain she was in. She blushed lightly at her words, feeling slightly ashamed but still reluctant to apologize completely for her leaving her home.
"It has been a while hasn't it? I'm sorry I haven't come to visit you in a while, I took fever for a few days and had to stay in bed...then when I got better, or at least, back to my usual state of illness, my brothers had to go out and work with the pack or something. Though..I guess I'm okay.."
She trailed off and once again looked towards the water where she noticed a few tiny fish that had gathered around the edge of the boulder. With a soft sigh however she shook her head and let the smile fall, not really looking angry or too upset as she spoke once again to her friend.
"Actually, for the past two days my brothers haven't been home. For all I know, actually, it may have been longer then that. I don't know where they've gone this time either since all they mentioned before rushing out was that it was something important."
Warily, Kaina started to stand up, careful not to slip though she now knew that the moss wasn't damp but rather dry. Turning to face Esther she tried a smile, though it was small and she refused to look up. Her head had begun to ache and her chest hurt every once in a while when she took in a deep breath.
"I needed to head to the town to do some shopping because we are running low on some things and I accidentally broke a stack of plates on the floor so I figured it might be good to get a new set since we don't really have many left anyways. Only..since no one has been home I haven't had the chance to go into the town to get anything, since I can't really go alone. So I decided to go there today...even though I know it was a bad idea. I don't even know if I'm going in the right direction anymore to be honest."
This was probably the most she had spoken in a long time, and probably the most Esther has ever heard her say before. In fact, Kaina wasn't one to usually speak very much at all, whether it was due to the pain she was always in or the fact that she was in fact, actually a bit shy no one really knows. However it was probably obvious that she wasn't feeling all too well by how much she had said, though she wasn't aware of how much it might give away. She was tired already, as though she had ran miles when in fact she had only walked most likely less then one, which shouldn't have been much for a werewolf.
Once again she pulled her arms up to wrap them around herself, a cool breeze making her shiver as her eyes drifted up slightly to see the boy who had come with Esther. In seeing him again, she forced her pain back from view and let a smile slide onto her face, warm and reassuring, and it reached her eyes. Out of Cognition: I'm sorry if this took a while and I apologize if it isn't that great. I've not been feeling all to great for the last two days, though I don't know if I'm getting sick or what. I hope the post is okay though.

After hearing Kaina talk, all Esther could do was smile. She knew all too well what the urge feels like to finally take a break and go out after being cooped up at home for so long. Although when she saw Kaina wrap her arms around herself and shiver, she became a bit concerned. “Well, I’m glad you’re feeling…a little better. And I wouldn't worry about you’re brothers. They’ll always come back to you because they love you too much. They’ll return to you no matter what,” she replied.
Suddenly, she remembered something she had in her bag. Swinging her back pack around, she took out a wool shawl she packed in case she ever got cold, plus there was a blanket for Allen as well if he ever got cold. As she kneeled down to Kaina, who now sat on the ground, she felt Allen grip on to her back, never leaving his hiding spot. In one swift motion, Esther wrapped the shawl around Kaina’s shoulders and made sure it wrapped around her all nice and snug. “There, that should keep you warm. You can’t fool me Kaina; even though you feel a little better to go out, it’s only just a little. That’s one of my favorite shawls so I know how reliable it is; and done worry about not coming in to work that often. You’re health is what’s most important to me and you’re brothers. And as friends, it's important we look out for one another. Plus, I don't think you're brothers will appreciate me if i allowed you to freeze to death. Oh, and you didn't miss much anyway. Besides, I’ve been going through a lot lately as well,” she said as she motioned to her little brother.
For a moment, Allen peeked around his sister’s side, only to go back into hiding. Esther twists herself around so that she was now facing her shy little brother. “There’s no need to be shy, she’s a friend of mine,” she says reassuringly as she grasps both his hands with hers kindly. “You’re sure?” he asks her nervously. Esther giggles, “I’m sure. Here, I’ll introduce you,” she replies as she motions for Allen to stand in front of her. “Kaina, I would like you to meet my little brother, Allen. Allen, this is Kaina Maybell Scythe; she works at our flowers shop when ever she can and also supplies us with many of her beautiful flowers,” says Esther getting through with the introductions.
Allen gripped his sister’s hand, still feeling wary of the girl in front of him. Patting him on the back Esther says, “Go ahead Allen, say hello. Do it whatever way makes you feel comfortable.” Allen looked back at his big sister then back at the girl wearing his sister’s shawl. Nervously, he slowly sticks out his hand, the one not holding Esther’s, as he waits for her to take it.
(OCC: It's okay hun. You're post are more than enough. I expect no less and they are always so beautifully written. It's admirable, really. Besides, I've been absent for so long that a lot or little writing wouldn't hurt at all. By the way, Allen can also speak through touch. Just so you know...Oh! and i hope you feel better!)

【Yang Kaido】❝ We are all... ❞ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━xx
The cold chills of the wind blew directly into the sturdy body of the male as he traveled through the forest. A slight shifting of the materials within the plastic bag due to the breeze caused a slight break in the silence, but other than that it was only him traveling into enemy territory. Not only did he carry these plastic store bags but hung tightly over his free shoulder was a small backpack with important materials inside.
He was on his way to visit someone, someone that he shouldn't see. His clan wouldn't understand it, then again none of them had the power to really speak to him on it. There hadn't been much defiance since his rule had solidified itself. In his mouth the man lazily chewed on a donut, one he had gotten from the bakery in town, that and a few other sweets were in the bag along with a box of sushi from some upscale place that he didn't bother to memorize, he just knew she liked it.
He was approaching familiar territory, not to far until he reached the destination. Something caught his nose before that however, the scent of sweet flowers and a special soil only found at the clearing. Kaina was out and about and not at home, her scent was strong, so much so that it almost masked the lesser scent of pottery coming from two others. Luckily Yang was downwind as he always remained when traveling here as to prevent unnecessary detection. He couldn't quite just walk up to her with others around. Looking up to the sturdy branches of the tree above, he gave a lunge of his powerful legs soaring through the air towards a branch. Sticking a hand out the claws grew quickly digging into the branch and swinging his body around it allowing him to land standing atop the branch.
He could now see out to the stream where Kaina was conversing with another woman and a boy, Their true scent was masked by the flowers he couldn't tell if they were human, wolf, or something else. This place seemed to have an influx of the supernatural lately. He did, however, give a quick smirk, not the cocky one that was usually known of him, but instead one that almost seemed proud of the sight before him. Kaina didn't get out very often, it was good to see her interacting with others. However, Yang couldn't approach, not just yet, she may not have been aware of his position with the pack that was damned by her own, but many others were.

Life is so short, and the time we have with it precious. Maybe we shouldn't waste it with pointless fighting and judgement. Kaina Maybell Scythe ╔══════════════╗ Because I have a passion for living, A love for everyone and everything That burns brighter then any star. ╚══════════════╝ -|-------|-----------|----------|--------|--------|----------|--------|---------|---------|---------|--------|--------|- Kaina nodded slowly while listening to Esther speak about her brothers love for her and made sure to pay attention as she told her that the shawl would keep her warm and mentioned that she had been going through some tough times as well. The she-wolf looked up a little quickly at the other and then back to the young boy at her side as she glanced in his direction. She honestly hadn't seen Esther in while and though she felt horrible for admitting it to herself, it had slipped her mind that they had lost their parents not too long ago. With a soft sigh, and a glance back up at her flower loving friend, she apologized.
"I'm sorry, I sometimes forget things about others...since most of the time I don't see anyone but myself these days. I don't ever mean to be rude or horrible..I really don't..I just forget sometimes. I'm sorry." She said softly, her gaze dropping to the ground once more. Truly she did feel horrible for having let it slip her mind at all, even if she hadn't really completely forgotten, but had simply not thought about it right then. How could people stand being around her as often as they were? (Which wasn't really that often). Quietly she pulled the shawl in closer to herself, enjoying the slight warmth that seeped into her body, but didn't quite reach her aching bones. It would probably take a lot more to warm her bones. A fire maybe, which she didn't have the convenience of, but at least she was warmer."So things are still pretty rough for you I guess? I wish I could do something more for you then simply stopping by every once in a while to help out in the flower shop. I just have grown so tired of being cooped up inside, and there is hardly anything to eat left in the cabin, other then fruit from the garden..and that's not doing me any good."
Kaina's voice was soft as she spoke, and her dichromatic eyes lifted slowly to Esther, then traveled to her little brother, who the other had just introduced as Allen. A light, warm smile slid onto the she-wolf's face as she noticed how uncomfortable he seemed, and when he reached his hand out for her to take, she waited a moment. Slowly, she reached her hand out, a reassuring look in her eyes as she gently took his hand into hers. She was fascinated by how tiny his was compared to her own, and a small soft giggle slid from her lips. Children were always something that cheered her up, because she knew their hearts weren't ones to jump to judgement of another, weren't ones to hold a hatred for the world or others just because they didn't understand them. Kaina let her smile remain, her heart open to the boy, even if she didn't know he might have been able to read her emotions. She wasn't one to hold back her feelings from others, and honesty was usually big with her...even if she had her own little secrets.
"Hi, my name is Kaina, and your sister says that yours is Allen, it's nice to meet you.She said softly, warmth in her voice, even as she thought she saw a slight movement somewhere in the trees above the pool of water. She showed no signs of her noticing however, nor did she let any of the worry she felt at seeing the shadow register in her mind or settle in her heart. If she did, her face would surely show it, and Esther would no doubt pick up on it right away. When Kaina took Allen’s hand, he gave her a firm yet gentle hand shake back. But this hand shake wasn’t his only greeting. Making sure that he thought clearly and loudly, Allen transferred his thoughts to her, allowing Kaina to hear his thoughts, “A-and nice to m-meet you. I-I’m Allen…” he said to her as he quickly retreats his hand from hers. Esther looks at her brother’s face and couldn’t help but chuckle a bit. Then she looked at Kaina, “Its okay. I forget things all the time. We all get lost in our own worlds once in a while. That’s why it’s nice to be around others once in a while,” she replied to her first statement.
Esther scoops Allen into her arms and holds him closely to her as she sat on another rock next to Kaina. “And there’s no need for you to apologize or feel sorry about anything. But yeah, things have been rough for the both of us lately. But we are getting through day by day because we have each other to lean on. And…” she trailed off to look at Allen. He looked up at her and saw that she wore a playful smile. Esther began to tickle him all over his body making him giggle and laugh, “Ever since Allen came to live with me, everything seemed a bit brighter,” she finished as gradually stopped tickling her little brother. “That’s why I decided to we should get out for the day. Allen and I have been cooped up in the apartment for two weeks now that it was about time for some fresh air,” she said as she looked back at Kaina. Allen grabbed Esther’s hand and said happily, “And you wanted to show me your favorite spot.” Esther giggled, “Yes and that too. And even though I would like to see you show up for work, I don’t want you doing anything that would have you forcing yourself to do anything,” she said kindly.
Esther winked at her and smiled happily, “And the days you don’t show up then I will come to visit you and maybe bring some things that you might need.” Allen looked cross and brought his tiny hand up to touch his sister’s cheek causing her to look at him. He pouted, “How about me? I wanna come too!” he told her. Esther laughed, “Right, Allen too. See I told you you’ll like her didn’t I?” she replied. Allen looked over to Kaina and nodded shyly with a small blush on his cheeks, which caused Esther to giggle.
A sudden yet gentle wind blew over them along with a strange feeling. This caused Allen to look around them until his eyes were settled in the general direction down wind from where they sat. He gripped his sisters jacket tightly, “Sister…I think there’s someone else here,” he said quietly, a bit of concern lining his voice. Although, Esther was already aware that someone had just arrived, she didn't feel the least bit nervous. She looked down at Allen reassuringly, “It’s alright. There no need to be afraid,” she said looking toward the same direction her brother did not too long ago. “Isn’t that right, Yang Kaido?” she yelled, waiting for, if any, response.

said Yang with almost a mocking tone of voice, at this point he had been sitting on the branch above his elbow was on his knee leading up to the chin that was perched upon it and the gaze of the bored Yang. She was the woman with that Shadowed Moon boy from before, he wondered if that person had managed to get treatment. He would make for an interesting test subject at some point, it would take too long to consider his experimentation however, he was beckoned for. Sliding forward he fell like a missile towards the earth and yet somehow, when he came in touch with the ground he only showed a slight bending of the knee, as if a simple hop from a car hood.
He ventured over to the group, he had to seem as if a passerby, just like the time before. Kaina's knowledge of him was limited, it always was and that's the way he intended to keep it. She never asked to many questions. The condescending nature of the woman might bring out the curiosity however. He walked over breezing by the rock where Esther and the boy sat, and then around Kaina circling behind her and giving her a slight nod and smile directly at only her.
His eyes zoned in on the boy, as he walked towards him. True Yang towered over him, his stature and dress all seemed intimidating. If anything he believed the boy might hide behind the sister, it's what children typically did when nervous or scared. However Yang would take an unexpected approach. He crouched down, taking a knee before the boy and smile, the smile seemed genuine enough, however even with this it could be seen that his canine's were sharpened to a point, the permanent fangs a side effect of his type. Yang however began to speak casually and kindly though his voice remained the same tone as before.
"Oh, and you must be Allen, you know I've heard much about you but never met you. You're ability is quite the gift as I hear. Tell me do you like sweets?"
Asked Yang reaching into a paper bag confined within the larger plastic. He withdrew two pieces of circular bread. He offered one to the boy, wrapped in a napkin. More than likely the boy would be nervous at taking something, especially from a man like Yang, but who didn't like sweets, Yang lay the bag down and brought the other to his mouth taking a small bite, the bread tearing and sweet icing from inside showing a bit as he chewed politely with a smile showing the boy nothing was fishy about the bread. He seemed to be taking care to keep the small backpack in place on his shoulder the reason would be unknown to most all. Kaina might have a clue, but even that was only slight, for now Yang seemed to be only being nice. He knew the boy's ability back and forward from his scout's reporting along with the ability of the older sister. If the boy managed to touch him he would sense everything about him, including the fact that he wouldn't hurt anyone in the vicinity, what he would see would actually be restricted through the infection, he would vividly see the current emotion of Yang at the current moment, he might even catch a glimpse of the future, but to actually grasp Yang past, present, and future it would take some serious time and work.

Life is so short, and the time we have with it precious. Maybe we shouldn't waste it with pointless fighting and judgement. Kaina Maybell Scythe ╔══════════════╗ Because I have a passion for living, A love for everyone and everything That burns brighter then any star. ╚══════════════╝ -|-------|-----------|----------|--------|--------|----------|--------|---------|---------|---------|--------|--------|- She was startled, or at least slightly surprised when Allen took her hand, and spoke directly into her mind. To be honest, Kaina hadn't been sure of what to expect when he had held his hand out for her to take, but this, she could say, wasn't one of the things she had. It made her smile a little wider for some reason, the ability of the other fascinating to her, since she had only ever heard of a small bit of Esther's abilities from her brothers before, and knew of her own, which no one else was aware of, most likely, not even Yang. Why? Well Kaina never felt comfortable revealing anything of her wolf side to him, or anyone of her own family for that matter. Not to mention that, even if he wasn't aware she was doing so, she knew to watch herself, even when alone, because sometimes, even though she could have been wrong, she swore she could sense him somewhere around the cabin, watching and waiting. It was as if he was studying her sometimes. Of course, she could just have been paranoid and it could have been nothing, but no matter what it was, she never used her abilities when that sense hit her. Not like she usually used them anyways.
Yang seemed too insistent about learning more on her illness and even asked several times for a sample of her blood to do tests on, and that unnerved her to some extent, and she always refused it politely. It wasn't that she didn't trust him, and yeah, okay, maybe she didn't know way too much about him but she wasn't as ignorant as maybe even he believed. In all honesty, she didn't care about whatever he may have done in the past, or might still be doing in the present, because he was her friend, at least, so far as she knew, he was, and she never betrayed her friends. Besides, it wasn't like she grew up completely ignorant to the outside world, since when her brothers spoke around her as she slept, they seemed to not realize that she could still hear them. Kaina knew more about the world she lived in then probably anyone in the pack knew she did, and she planned to keep it that way.
"Well, It's good that you two are at least finding it a bit easier to make it through the days together. I'm happy for you." She said softly, seeming to somewhat resort back to her usual short sentences, now that she was warmer and had someone to talk to. In fact one could almost say that she was close to being calm, which might be surprising to some, since she was usually tense around other people if she hadn't spoken to them in a long while. "Yeah...that sounds nice...if it wouldn't be a bother to you to do so of course..that is. I don't want to make you go out of your way for me." She said softly again, happy with the idea of having visitors a little more often at the cabin.
Her nerves almost seemed to completely calm. However, soon, she started to become nervous again, though she managed, somehow, to succeed in keeping it from her face. It seemed that they in fact did have a visitor, and her barely there excitement and fear of who it might have been was almost brought shooting to the surface as Esther announced the persons name. The she-wolf did, however, managed to keep any sign of it from showing. Instead she settled on a look of curiosity, figuring it might be best not to reveal that she actually knew this wolf...this infected. Who knew what kind of reaction Esther might give...though it made her sick to think of how the Shadowed Moon pack treated those who lived with the illness. Why did they have to hate them? Hunt them and kill them? Yeah, so what, the virus changed them, made them more violent and uncontrollable, but what was the difference between them, and a wolf who had no control of their own inner beast? Wasn't it possible to find another way to teach them to take control? She believed it was possible, no matter what her brothers said about it.
Though she didn't necessarily want to change any of the Blood Moon wolves in the first place. If lived how they lived, then she says let them be how they choose, but don't push them away and treat them like nothing more then an insect that had the misfortune of landing on your nose and needed crushed. Of course, she never shared these views with anyone else, other then Yang, which was probably one of the reasons he hadn't hurt her when he ran into her in the middle of the woods so long ago. She had just suffered an attack that had hurt more then usual, and as she had opened her eyes and looked up, she had found him standing there above her. Kaina hadn't been afraid, she had never found a reason to fear anyone or anything, though maybe that was a flaw of hers that could be potentially fatal.
She didn't care, nor would she change it unless something so drastic happened to her that scarred her for life. Her thoughts came to an abrupt end as she caught the smile directed at her, and as she watched him move to crouch in front of Allen. He seemed to offer something to the boy, and she sniffed the air softly to see if she could tell what it was, only to smile slightly, though not enough to reveal she knew him or anything.
"Yang...Kaido?"Kaina asked softly in a questioning tone. She hated lying, she hated making things up, always having preferred the truth over a lie any day, but after many years of her life requiring her to hide the fact that she not only knew a member of the Blood Moon pack, but actually met with him and talked with him and was pretty close friends with him, from her brothers, it became natural to act oblivious in a situation that dealt with him. "Do you two know each other, Esther?"She inquired, this time genuinely curious for she had not known that the two had ever met. She had a bad feeling that the meeting probably wasn't on good terms though, due to the tone of her voice when she questioned him. Out of Cognition: First, I am so sorry for the novel of a post, second, I lost my train of thought half way through the post so ended up having to change it some from my original plans so it might be a little choppy. Thank you for being patient though. And I love your posts too. Oh but guys...could we please watch the meta gaming and God modding? Kaina showed no reaction to her catching sight of Yang (who she wasn't completely aware it was then anyways) and Also, be careful with the whole, knowing the abilities of another persons character. I would check to make sure that it's okay with the others, though some abilities may be easily known I know. Also, no one but Yang and Kaina are really supposed to know about their meetings...so I am going to request that Esther not be aware of them? Or at least if she is that she wouldn't go telling her brothers...cause that could cause some problems with plans.

Esther smiled to see that Kaina agreed happily her offer, saying that it’s all right for them to visit her sometimes, “Great. And don’t worry, it’s no trouble at all,” she replied. Meanwhile, Allen stared as a man jumped down from the trees and started to walk over to their little group. Instinctively, the little boy gripped his sister’s jacket, a little bit startled by how tall the man who joined them was. He let out a faint yet audible gasp as the man crouched down to his level, "Oh, and you must be Allen, you know I've heard much about you but never met you. You're ability is quite the gift as I hear. Tell me do you like sweets?" he asked as he offered him some sweets. He felt his sister hug him a little bit tighter, but not enough to hurt him as Yang’s generous offer. Staring at the confection, a slight blush appeared on his cheek. He saw Yang take a bite off of his bun and saw that he was pleased with the taste. Slowly, Allen touched the wrapped bun slightly and used a bit of his powers the minute he touched it. He saw that the bun came from a bakery not too far from their flower shop. He remembered his sister mentioning the delicious baked goods from a bakery in town where the sweets are to die for, and she promised that she will take him there some day.
Knowing that it’s safe, he took the bun fully into his hands and started looking at it more thoroughly, he sniffed if a couple of times. “It…smells so sweet,” he said to himself. Even though he was still little, he took a big bite out of the bun and his eyes sparkled, “Sis, this big brother is nice,” he replied happily as he started eating the bun some more. Esther just smiled down at her brother, pleased that he was enjoying himself. She looked at Yang with a small smile, “Thanks, that was very kind of you Yang,” she paused, “However, the fact that you knew of my brother special ability worries me a bit, seeing as how he only arrived not too long ago. But at the same time it doesn’t surprise me,” she said. Esther looked at him straight in the eyes and said, “I guess I shouldn’t expect anything less from you.”
“Do you two know each other, Esther?" asked Kaina. Esther whipped her head over to look at her, offering a reassuringly kind smile. She shook her head gently, “No not really. I saw him once or twice before. After all, one doesn’t forget a member of the Blood Moon pack,” she replied as she side glanced at Yang, “And I know he won’t try to do anything because he’s on Shadow Moon territory. One can’t be too careful and act recklessly.” Allen just finished eating the sweet bun and was in the process of licking his fingers. Esther brought their backpack to her side and started digging through the sack. She withdrew a small, portable package of baby wipes and offered one to her brother. “Here Allen, use this,” she said. Allen took the wipe gratefully, “Thanks sis,” he replied. After wiping his hands, he handed the dirty wipe to his sister; she placed it in a plastic bag she packed in the backpack. Remembering, Esther whispered into Allen’s ear, “What do you say Allen?”
Allen nodded in response and looked towards Yang, “Thank you big brother. The sweet bun was very yummy,” he said with a bright smile, bowing his head slightly. Allen patted his sister’s arm to release him to which she complied. She watched as Allen walked over to Kaina with the smile still on his face, “Big sister Kaina, are you warm enough now?” he asked her as he rubbed the side her arm a bit in hopes to help her warm up. He waits for her to reply.

【Yang Kaido◐ Blood Moon Alpha ◑❝ We are all... ❞ ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━xx
"No worries little one, I'm glad you enjoyed it"
stated Yang standing tall once more, he waived his hand casually dismissing the proper thanks while smiling his fang filled smile. He heard as the woman began to speak on his knowledge of her little brother and his ability, truthfully Yang only had a basic understanding rumors and whispers he had heard of such an amazing feat. Still it was something he knew and had no intention of being ashamed of his network of information.
"Ah, did I violate a bit of privacy? My apologies, words seem to fly in that town down there, anything that comes in or goes out seems to somehow make it's way to my ears."
His tone was still kind but it couldn't be helped that there was a sinister twinge to his words at all times. The woman was able to speak so casually of the Blood Moon Pack, as did all Shadow Moon. They believed themselves to have the right too. They had once defeated that pack, before Yang had stepped to its helm.
"It seems I've made an impression, well I'm quite honored Ms. LeClaire"
Stated Yang with a slight nod of his head. Since he had they believed in peace, that the Blood Moon were simply a lower class that they could dismiss. All violent savages, riff raff that dared not step out of bounds lest the Shadow Moon be brought to their door step. They understood nothing, they did not know the reason for the silence of the pack. They could not fathom the extent of Yang's power and influence over the former mindless imbeciles of his pack. Most Shadow Moon dared not step onto his turf and so Yang remained to himself and his plans. He stepped forwards towards the woman his hand venturing up to his chest the claws extending, his muscles ever so slightly expanding.
"You seem confident that I actually care what the Shadow Moon think, that the treaties and territories...protect you and your way of life. Yet here I am, so simple, it was to walk into your territory. We're all...beast, and savages correct? Then why would I consider the consequences of my actions? Why couldn't I just..."
He looked back to the little boy, and the hand that had began to grow shrank back to size, the claw rescinding into his hand. He looked back to the woman and smiled. A smaller smile this time his eyes remaining locked on her.
"You should, remember what we are, what you are. Creatures of impulse can be so deliciously unpredictable."
He turned once more to her brother who had now ventured over to Kaina and was trying to warm her up, he seemed like a good child. Yang saw a familiar site in him and by doing so an actual smile crept over his face, an unfamiliar expression to even Yang but it was there none the less. He turned back to the woman and spoke as he walked past her back towards the town, it would be the opposite direction of the tree he came from making sure it appeared as if he came from the interior of the territory. Anyone would think whatever task he came to accomplish he would have done so already. Silently he near whispered to the woman as he passed her.
"Protect the little one, from enemies and friends alike, he will be the one, that decides our fate..."
With those words Yang ventured past the woman and towards the boy and Kaina. She looked much different in the sunlight as she always did whenever he saw her outside. Radiant, almost as if she weren't sick at all. He had to act though, so he simply flashed her a smile with his back to Esther then kneeled to see the boy.
"Allen, it was very nice to meet you. You will be strong, young warrior. You should ask your sister to visit me in the city sometime. I'll teach you about this place, not everything can be learned from the within the flower shop."
He gave him another smile and drew another bun from the bag, keeping it for himself and leaving the bag before the boy to enjoy. He stood and turned towards the city and began the journey, calm strides as always. He never seemed to care what territory he was in. To Yang, there was no territory that was his, or hers, or the Shadow Moon, or the Blood Moon, there was only land, that belonged to all wolves, and he would ensure the unification, even if a few fell along the way.

Life is so short, and the time we have with it precious. Maybe we shouldn't waste it with pointless fighting and judgement. Kaina Maybell Scythe ╔══════════════╗ Because I have a passion for living, A love for everyone and everything That burns brighter then any star. ╚══════════════╝ -|-------|-----------|----------|--------|--------|----------|--------|---------|---------|---------|--------|--------|- Kaina watches everything closely, smiling slightly as she noticed that Allen in fact did like the sweet bun that had been brought to him. However it fell slightly as Esther warned Yang not to act up, even though he hadn't really shown any signs that he was going to do so in the first place...well...at least not that she knew anyways. When Allen approached her she turned in his direction, her smile returning, especially when he asked if she was warm enough now. Of course her bones still ached a bit, but that was to be expected. She nodded, her smile still in place as she spoke.
"Yeah, I am, thank you Allen. Your sisters shawl has helped a lot. How about you, are you warm enough?" She asked sweetly, her voice quiet and soft as she did so. A movement, however, that she caught from the corner of her eye, pulled her attention towards her two friends, though she tried her best to keep it on Allen. It startled her to see Yang letting his claws grow out, but it didn't worry her too much at first. Only when he moved towards Esther as though to hurt her did it cause her to feel anything remotely resembling worry or hurt. Kaina knew that the Shadowed Moon pack could be cocky at times, and that they could overstep their boundaries on others, but she didn't want her friend to get hurt.
She was sure that Yang wouldn't do anything though, at least, not in front of her right? Not like that would make it any better of course. Hurting her friend was still hurting her friend no matter which way it came. After a moment of panic she quickly turned her gaze back to the boy next to her, and pushed back the fear she felt, the scent of her emotions always masked by the permanent scent of roses that always seemed to hover around her no matter what. It wasn't just the garden scent either, it was her actual, personal scent. The one that usually helped her brothers find her when she wasn't inside the cabin.
"I can't wait for you guys to come visit me at the cabin. I'm sure it will be fun, and I can show you guys my garden." She said softly, a smile slipping easily back onto her face as she distracted herself. It became easier to smile when she noticed that Yang had dropped his hand and had returned his claws back to normal, though when he seemed as though he was leaving, her mood dropped just a bit. Hadn't he come to visit her? She supposed he couldn't just stop and sit down with them, since it would make it obvious that they knew each other, but still, it was sad to see him leave.
Quietly she watched as he turned, leaving the bag of buns next to Allen, and smiling at her. She had to wonder if he was actually leaving, as she smiled back a little, making it seem as though she was nervous. Which perhaps, she actually slightly was seeing as she wasn't sure exactly what Esther was going to say about any of this. Kaina wouldn't hold it against Yang though, seeing as he lived being despised by her own pack and had probably felt threatened or at least, as though he was being told that by being on their pack land he was now at their mercy. Though neither did she hold it against Esther, for she hadn't actually made a move that she had seen, against him.
"Bye I guess.." She said to him, her voice quiet, but not so quiet that the other two wouldn't be able to hear it. Out of Cognition: Right so this post seemed a little odd to me, and I know it wasn't the best quality. I hope everything made sense. I have just been stressed out since yesterday, though on the bright side, I'm feeling a lot better (ya know, other then the stress, which I have a lot of in life).
