The ride had been strange, incredible....and confusing. When he'd awoken to the world in the dark of night, not too long ago, Bohlale had wondered many things. How did he get here? What was he doing? Why was he alone? What was this feeling of longing in his chest? The Putti didn't quite understand the situation he was in for he was nearly fully grown, but couldn't remember his life before waking up that dark evening. He knew many things about the land around him, his mental capacity was well of a seasoned adult...but what happened to the earlier years of his life?
He didn't know, but he could have sworn on his life he heard from the whispers of moving shadows the name Bohlale, which he took as a name for himself since he knew he had none. These same shadows also whispered of finding himself with a strange pair, and all would be revealed.
The heck was that supposed to mean?
He'd looked up to the skies this evening, much like he had the night he came conscious to the world...seeing those same glittering stars. He'd made a wish....but more so a promise. He'd find those his heart yearned for, and he wouldn't stop till he did. This is exactly what he did as he walked along the lands in the dead of night, not sure who he was looking for, but he figured his instinct would guide him as the male didn't have anything else to rely on.
Looking to his left he frowned, breathing out as his bangs were blown from around his eyes. "I could have sworn I've seen that rock before..." He noted out loud, annoyed, as although the wind seemed to whisper west from his current location far, far east....the male had no clue what direction west was. The least the spirits or whatever was guiding him could have given him a little more help than delirious messages quite possibly in his head.

Current. Water. Bubbles. Aqua loved swimming, loved the feel of the water against her skin. The Nixie shifted lightly, playing with her otter, who splashed at her with his large feat. Smiling, she dipped under, before making her way up and to the ground, her hooves touching solid earth. Though it wasn't her favorite area, she didn't mind the earth. It kinda reminded her of frogs. They lived mostly in water, but also on land. Or was that a toad? Either way, she enjoyed it also! Most interesting people lived on the earth, right? Like, on land? She tilted her head in thought, before shrugging it off, and scampered forward, moving to go nibble at some leaves on a low bush. Darian followed, his eyes wide, looking around curiously.
For a moment, she ignored the otter, until he squeaked and pulled at her tail. Curious, the mare glanced down. "What is it, Darian?" She asked, before glancing around. It was then that she saw the oddly colored horse not far off. She had never seen anyone with that many colors on them; it was interesting! And the little wings that seemed to sprout from his head and butt were also rather enthralling. She tilted her head, watching him with rather curious, bright eyes. Her ears perked quietly when it spoke. Boy, yes. It was definitely a boy. Something about a rock? Was he lost?
Aqua glanced around somewhat, curious. She looked down at Darian, her eyes bright with a sort of excitement. "Should we go help?" She whispered, her voice showing her excitement. The otter squeaked, his body shifting some, before he ran back to the river and dived into the water. ".... Scaredy otter." Grinning, the Nixie turned, and walked rather boldly forward, her hooves hitting the earth quickly, before she paused and peeked at him again, ensuring she wasn't in an interfering distance. She didn't want to upset him! "I don't mean to bother you, but are you lost?" She asked, tilting her head at the stallion, which caused a bit of her hair to shift along her head.

As the wind died down and his 'sense of direction' began to falter ever so slight, the male let out a drawn out sigh. The rock certainly was playing coy and wouldn't tell him which way was at least west. Making up his mind as he would try and track down another more...native soul to ask, rather than the judging stare of the boulder and the finned mare.
Wait...finned mare?
As her voice finally caught up to his ears he turned around quickly and blinked, feathers ruffled a bit from the startle. When had she gotten here? When had he become so self absorbed in his thoughts?
"I'm..." He began, feeling his voice catch and crack a little from the embarrassment of being so utterly oblivious. "Not lost. Of course not. The rock is giving me false directions." He folded both sets of wings in unison, turning his head to the side to send the stone a glare. He wasn't lost, pfftt. He was a grown stallion! Kind of....somewhat.
Yet as Bohlale really looked at the female once he could turn his head back without turning scarlet; he noticed her in greater detail. She was different, her tail not made of hair but of fins and a strong one at that. He wouldn't doubt she would be able to navigate in the sea with fins like that. However her mane was hair, entrapped in a net like adornment with beads. He wondered momentarily if it had a purpose or was fashion but he then realized rather quickly it didn't matter. She was waiting and he was staring silently lost in his thoughts. "I'm....not sure I was ever found, in order to now be lost. However I have lost something....I don't know what it is...but its west." The putti concluded, giving a small lopsided smile, "I may have lost my common sense though, as i'm sure you can tell. The mind does crazy things in the middle of the night."

Aqua let her bright eyes linger on him. The little wings were so cute! She’d never seen anything like them, and honestly, she wanted nothing more than to go over and touch them with her nose. Feel what they were like. She knew what fins and water was, but air and feathers? That was a new one on her! She smiled some, shifting her tail back and forth, before tilting her head. Could he fly? That would be awesome! But she wasn’t sure if it was possible; after all, most creatures that flew had wings on their back… Not their butt and head. She giggled at the image of a creature flying with its butt way in the air holding it up, and quickly pushed the thought from her mind. It was rude, despite the comedy of it. Letting her eyes linger once more on him, Aqua smiled, and moved forward carefully. She had learned that a lot of creatures were scared easily, and didn’t want to frighten off this curious creature.
When he started to talk, Aqua tilted her head, causing her mop of hair to shifts as well. She smiled toward him, encouraging him to continue talking, and when he did, she tried not to giggle. He wasn’t lost, but he wasn’t found? That was silly! She blinked at him, before moving forward a bit, her tail giving another small flick. The fins on her body seemed to shift, wiggle almost. It was mostly due to the need to be in water. Her skin was drying out, and she needed to get some form of wetness on her. Though she was patient, and far too curious, about this stallion to really care about leaving right now. She tilted her head and let a small giggle shift out from her mouth as she walked to where she was a few paces away from him.
”The rock? I’m sure it’s sorry, and didn’t mean to make you get further… not lost?” She said, her voice soft, and sweet, but filled with amusement. He was cute~ What was he looking for? She was honestly very curious. Smiling, she bound up to him a bit closer, before peering up at him with bright eyes, letting her hooves shift under her body as she talked in a rather excited manner, wanting nothing more than to find out what he was searching for and what exactly he needed to find. ”West? I could take you west! I travel along that way a lot to explore. So if you need someone to show you the way, I won’t mind. Though, I’m certain Mr. Rock may be a little jealous that I’m taking you away.” She had to resist not to giggle, but it slipped out lightly as she sent him a bright smile, and glanced over toward the direction of the stream not far from here. It was west, and she needed water, so it would be a good middle ground!

Raising his brows as she pressed forward, he was beginning to see and somewhat be thankful for that she was a bolder mare; for he was sure his crazy ramblings of conflicting opposites would drive even the most confident of souls away. This, however would suit him well...he needed help if he was to ever figure out this mysterious fog that covered vital information in his life.
He yearned for something deep in his soul...and that was enough for him to to anything to help figure out what that something was.
"I wouldn't be so sure, they're spiteful things. Popping up in the path and tripping you, landsliding down with groups of their evil friends...." Okay, a little exaggeration on the innocent inanimate object but still. As the finned mare giggled at his antics he gave a soft smile, figuring he didn't need to worry so much about her being concerned enough to leave. She even offered a most kindly thing to accompany him to the west.
"You really don't need to miss..." Bohlale was many things, but imposing was not one of them. "I don't know how far I will be going, or even really in short know what i'm looking for. It could potentially take you very far from here...." Which, he assumed, was her home....exploration or not. Casting a sideways glance at the rock his brows dipped slightly in a menacing glare.
Jerk rock.
"Besides, how can I possibly accept such a request from some pretty face that I don't even know her name? Besides, How do I know you're not in kahoots with the rock? Some scheme to get me turned around so much im on my back air galloping a whole lot of no where?" This of course was only a joke, but it made the stallion laugh curtly before tilting his head as his little wings tucked against his teal locks. "I'm Bohlale, by the way."

Aqua smiled at the stallion. He was so adorable! Blaming the rock and playing along with her. She was certain that her little otter friend would very much so enjoy the company of the stallion before her. But at the same time, she couldn't force him forward. She flicked her ears up, watching him with interest, before a small giggle slipped past her throat. Bohlale was just adorable. She couldn't help but think so. He was funny and cute. She wiggled her nose, eyes fluttering for a moment, before shaking out her mane ( despite it being under the net ), before settling herself easily to stare up at him, bright eyes lingering on the wings that protruded from his head. They were so cute... She wanted to nuzzle them, to be honest.
Shifting, Aqua tilted her head, her fined tail flicking. She giggled once more, tilting her head to the side at his words. Kahoots with the rock, huh? She glanced down toward the rock, smiling at it, before mock whispering about how they would need to work harder next time in order to trick the clever winged stallion. She giggled, before looking back up toward him, her bright eyes lingering. West. She could go west, right? She had nothing holding her back; no family or friends. The thought made her eyes lower to the ground, staring at the rocks and dirt and grasses. No family or friends... aside from Darian. Darian was always her friend ( Despite him being off somewhere else at the moment. Wiggling her nose, she looked back up, her bangs shifting into her face, before she smiled at the stallion, and nodded her head curtly.
"Don't worry, I'll leave my friend Mr. Rock behind. He won't bother you any more. Despite being such an evil little thing." She wiggled her nose with a laugh, before smiling up at him, and took another small step forward, her ears perking up. "I'm Aqua. It's a pleasure to meet you, Bohlale. And no worries; I don't mind exploring west! I've never been, so I'm very curious as to what is out there." She smiled with excitement, her muscles almost trembling from the thoughts of new waters to swim in.
