Apparently Eva was really intent on making up for those lost days of practice now that she had her weapon back. Her last two days had consisted of training, sparring, and more training...and apparently today wasn't going to be any different. She knew for a fact that she would have to take a break from sparring soon--her body was starting to ache a little from the hits she had taken--but that day of break wouldn't be today.
...After all, she was sure that she would get pretty beaten up in today's spar, so resting tomorrow seemed like the best course of action.
The girl had sent out a text to Robert earlier in the morning, requesting that--if he had the time and was up for it--that he meet her at the training grounds for a spar. Their last spar had been a long time ago, and had ended with silly kicking and tickling...but she wanted to take this one seriously this time, which meant encouraging her friend to come at her with his full power.
Eva would have been lying if she were to claim that she wasn't even a little worried about how this fight would turn out.

Robert was actually really happy to get the text from Eva asking for a spar. It had been a long time since anyone had requested him. He was usually out there, trolling for a fight, looking for whatever came his way, but being asked felt really nice. And he adored Eva, even if it didn't seem like it sometimes. So he was jogging out to the field as fast as he could, already summoning Jezebel the moment he saw her pretty face. "Hey, sweetheart, I made it!" He put Jezebel behind his neck and wrapped his arms around her, using her to stretch himself out. "This is gonna be fun. You ready for a good a** whoopin'?"

"Robert!"
Eva visibly brightened at the man's arrival, though the friendly grin on her face soon changed into a confident smile at the challenge. She summoned Chara, digging the tip of the blade into the ground and leaning her weight against it as she stared up at Robert with raised brows, "I'm ready, so long as we're clear that I'm the one who is going to do the a** whoopin', yeah?"
With a light laugh, she drew back, putting some distance between herself and Robert to ensure that they would have enough room to fight. She wasn't entirely sure whether her quivering hands were due to nervousness or excitement, but in either case, she was ready for this fight.

Robert's lips pursed in amusement. "Oooh. Someone's feisty today. Somehow, I feel like this is a win-win situation for me. I win the spar, or I get you to a** whoop me?" He pulled Jezebel off his neck carefully, a sly smile on his face. "I don't see how I could lose." Kaiyumi ((I concede my initiative, go ahead <3))

Eva answered him with a grin, her gaze sliding down to fall on her weapon. Okay. Ready, Chara?
Ready. This is going to be interesting.
The girl made a face at--what she felt was--her weapon's lack of confidence before lunging forward, bringing the bladed staff up and around as she struck out at Robert.

Eva was standing there, making faces. Robert didn't know whether to worry about her mental health or just think it was adorable. He'd started to think about how he wished he'd grown up with a sister like Eva, instead of the raging, hormonal b***h that was Poe, when the girl slammed him with her staff. He flinched at the blow, eyes widening in surprise, before the grin etched dangerously across his face. He hefted Jezebel careful, lifted up onto his toes (as always, a painful looking feat for a man of his size), and twirled 360 degrees, bringing the blades down against Eva's side. HP: 47 Damage: 10

Well, Eva had expected for this spar with Robert to hurt like hell, so she couldn't claim to be surprised when felt the blades slam into her FEAR shield with such a force that it sent her on the ground.
Groaning, she forced herself back up despite the ache, offering Robert a small grin. "As expected of you, Robert. But I can hit pretty hard as well!"
And to emphasize her point, she suddenly swung Chara down and at the man's right shoulder.

Eva had spent enough time in the field to know exactly what was coming. Robert did not hold back, just as he wouldn't have held back for Poe, if she wasn't such a lazy SOB sleeping in her pod. One of these days, he was going to accidentally jarr it open with a kick, and then make her clean the minipet cages poop. This was a daydream he would regret, as Eva's slam hit him hard on the shoulder. The girl had a kick to her! That made Robert's heart swell twice as big with pride. (Not that he had anything to do with it.) He grinned and dipped, jutting Jezebel into her with the tip. HP: 40 Damage: 4

The minute she felt the weapon's tip dig into her, she jerked backwards, immediately distancing herself from the man. Lifting a hand, she instinctively clutched her hand over her stomach with a little wince. "Ow." Nothing too serious, but seriously ow.
Of course, she was more than willing to return the favour, and to show Robert exactly what she meant about trying to whoop his a**. She spun Chara around so that she was blunt-side up as she made her way forward again, swinging the staff up and into Robert's stomach the moment she was close enough to do so.
...And then she promptly felt guilty. She would most definitely be demanding a bear hug after this spar was over.

Standing at a distance, Eva clutched onto the blunt end of her staff with both hands, tentatively poking the man with the pointy end a few (say, six) times.

"Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow. NO I'M NOT OKAY AND YOU'RE NOT MAKING IT BETTER BY POKING ME IN THE a**." Robert flipped back right side up, fell on the floor, and then pushed himself up to his feet.
"Christ, Eva, you almost buried me. Nice hit, but where the ******** did that come from?" He rubbed his sore neck, and shook his head in disbelief. One thing was for sure, Eva did not need babying. He was already going to give the fight his all, but perhaps his all wasn't even going to be enough.
So he swung Jezebel with all of his might, baseball style, trying to hit a homerun.

Eva couldn't help it--she giggled. Hey, at least poking you in the a** got you back up, okay?
But whether that was a good thing for her was questionable. The man's next hit suddenly sent her reeling backwards, and this time it's was Eva's turn to collapse on the ground. She allowed herself to stay there for three counts before pushing herself back up swinging her staff out, aiming the blunt end for the back of Robert's knees.

The hit felt good, but Eva's counterattack did not. She swept his back knees, dropping to the ground quickly. He pushed himself back up, took the time to brush himself off, and shook his finger at the girl.
"You're playing dirty today. I kind of like that." There was a stupid smile on his face, but in truth, Robert felt a warm content at knowing Eva could handle herself in a fight. She wasn't going to turn self-righteous and try to play fair, when it came down to it. Nobody played fair, anymore.
To prove his point, he held out his hand, palm upward, but without waiting to see if she'd take it, he grabbed her around the middle and piledrived her down onto the ground.
Weapons? What weapons?

And of course, Robert ended up taking advantage of that fact not a minute later because yes, piledriving was fair by the rules they were playing by. That wasn't to say that Eva liked it though--when she felt the man grab her, she immediately began to panic, trying to tear herself away when--
...Well. And all that Eva had to say (after wheezing) about Robert's attack?
"Okay, see Robert, now that's not fair because you're too big for me to do the same thing to you."
