Being the new kid, apparently, meant the occasional bullying. This didn’t upset TK. Hardly. He had assumed something like this would happen eventually, though he wasn’t particularly pleased with the situation. TK stared up at the other student—his 5’8” stature wasn’t too difficult to beat, after all—and pressed his mouth into a thin line while he let the bully spit in his face. Calmly, he wiped the liquid off his cheek and then wiped his hand with one of his sleeves. The bully laughed.
“What’s wrong, skull face? Someone cut out your tongue?” he sneered while he grabbed TK’s shirt and pushed him back. He kept pushing the undead backwards until he found himself pressed against a door. The taller student stared at the door and grinned. He pulled TK forward and then shoved him back into the closet. The contents rattled as TK stumbled into a broom and buckets before the door was slammed in his face and he heard the sound of a lock clicking. At least he managed to maintain his balance. He sighed.
He shifted inside the closet while he waited for the footsteps to recede. Once he counted a few moments of silence, he chose to knock on the door twice in hopes of someone answering his call.

Danny was on her way to a class, but not one that she had to hurry to. A simple drawstring bag slouched on her back, probably filled with nothing but paper and a crude pen. Even after progressing to Hob she still hadn't learned how to study properly, nor would she ever really. It wasn't in her character.
Knocks sounded from somewhere around her, somewhere in this empty hallway. She looked around, alarmed at first, and then realized it was probably just someone practicing their spooky sounds homework.
She huffed sort of indignantly and said, "Ugh cut it out. It's not funny and it never will be!" Danny didn't like being the butt of a joke after all!

TK expected no response. The halls, last he recalled, had been mostly empty save for a few stragglers lazily heading toward their next class. His eyes widened slightly when he actually heard a voice outside of the door. It sounded like a ghoul, but it was difficult to discern if he recognized the voice or not. It was unlikely he knew the student on the other side. A lot of the faces at Amityville were still unfamiliar to him. TK tried knocking once more before he spoke up in a louder voice.
“Hello? I’m sorry, but I’m stuck in the closet. If you could kindly open the door…” His voice trailed off.

Danny looked around, a little lost. Even after 3 years, she was still finding new things in this school. Like an underground cave system. Like the Amityville Hot Springs. Like a closet in a hallway she'd walked down a thousand times
With a spring in her step, she pulled the knob and yanked the door open, revealing poor TK. "Ah! You're the guy from the festival thing..."

He blinked once as light flooded into the closet. His eyes were narrowed when he cautiously stepped out of the closet. “Hm?” TK turned his head toward Danny and his face lit up with recognition. He placed a hand on his chest and bowed slightly. “Yes! I am TK. You are Miss Danny, correct? Thank you for opening the door. It seems someone locked me inside by accident.” The undead’s smile was polite, but there seemed to be something wry about it. Maybe it was because the incident had hardly been an accident. “Have you been well since the festival?
