Otto meandered the cafeteria while devouring an apple. In general he wasn't doing much other than loitering and making crunching noises. Just to be an a** to anyone else nearby.
Lately he'd heard things. Murmurings about a certain project he;d only ever read about in archives. Breeding Program. The idea was revolting to Otto. To think a lot of the people were somehow related, that the crazy within them was being spawned constantly.
Ew.
Ew ew ew.
He needed to know more. the morbid curiosity had him bugged.

With Tracey back the order of the day had been sort out s**t that needed sorting, get back into training, and now his sweet sweet reward - a mug of hot chocolate. Sure, it didn't have any whipped cream, he was completely cleaned out, but it was heavenly. It propped up his mood so well - for a short time he actually felt at peace with the world.
Flicking through his phone, he avoided twitter for once, checking his texts and cleaning out the many ones he'd sent back and forth to his guys while he was in there.
He lingered on the one from Mark, it wouldn't be being deleted any time soon.
It was hard to concentrate though with the incessant crunch crunch of Otto's noisy eating. He didn't even like apples and yet he was getting a craving for them. He shot the death hunter a nasty look. "Can you keep it down man? I'm trying to read." And for Rep, reading took just about every bit of concentration he had.

Otto's icy blue gaze flicked down to Rep, taking a slow, very intenionally loud bite from the fruit out of spite. "Mmmhmmm. Sure, buddy." Otto snarked in a muffled voice, crunching away at the apple.
His gaze fell on his cell phone, noting the text from Mark. Being the snoop Otto seemed to be, he was curious why a Sun trainee had such a long and detailed list from the Death assistant.
"What's that?" Otto demanded, pointing at the cell phone's message. "What's it say?"

Rep's first reaction was to hold the phone to his chest possessively, narrowing his eyes. He was tempted to say none of your ******** business but bound up with that instinct was his lurking resentment of being denied the info in the first place due to his rank.
"It's a list. Breeding project." he stated cryptically.

No way! Was this seriously happening? Otto had been on a search for information and here it was, dangling above his nose. Or in this case held to the chest of a dude capable of putting him in the hospital.
Otto was not one to turn down a challenge.
"God, it actually exists.." Otto said with a curled lip, clearly disturbed. He chucked the apple behind his head, hitting a poor passer by off the noggin, bouncing off a wall and straight into a garbage can.
"Lemme see it." If not, he'd just go to Mark. But the information was right there. So he needed to try. Mark, while not Caelius, was not someone he cared to deal with. he seemed.. difficult to get info from.

Rep normally would have been a lot more standoffish about the information, after all, he had paid a good chunk of money for it. But right now he had a mug of hot chocolate and that sort of helped put the world into a more friendly sort of perspective. Besides, he wasn't sure how to even go about beginning to tell the people on the list about their prospective relation to some of the leaders running the divisions.
"Apparently. I didn't think it did either but well.." he shrugged.
"Your name isn't on it. Look." he offered, grudgingly handing over the precious and most valuable thing that was his phone.

Otto snatched the phone, scrolling through the message and taking in all the information to memory.
Wow...
Oh wow.. Rep and Allen?
Some of these names.. Lex and ...Who was Henry?
Otto snorted and continued reading. There was missing information. It bothered him. He didn't like missing information. This was incomplete. "Well, so far so good." Otto replied, lifting a brow. At least he knew he was one of a kind. To him that felt great. The breeding project had scared him for one reason; he was blonde. Deus seemed to have a surplus of blondes. It had always made him edgy, like the higher ups had some horrid fetish he maybe should know about.
"But this ain't all of it. See? Some of the data ain't here." Candace was on here, but her match was omitted too.
Otto handed the phone back, already dreading the next stop on his quest for knowledge.
"Don't like a half told story. Gotta dig a lil' deeper. Thanks fer the phone."

Rep nodded. "Mark's the one to go to. Just make sure you have money when you do. I was mainly curious about like, me. Wanted to know why they'd pick me up in the first place, if there was like reasons. He said the info on the other people was like, extras."
"Maybe he's withholding the really juicy s**t to get money off other people too." It was still strange to him and the implications of the breeding project itself still hadn't entirely sunk in, the idea that your bloodline, who you were was somehow controlled or at least guided by the organisation was somewhat worrying to say the least. "Worth talking to him." Being missing off the list could be a bad sign.

Money? Well.. seeing as none of them had leave in ages, Otto had racked up a decent pile of expendable cash. The only problem was he had plans for that cash. So in the end, what was more important? The gathering of information pertaining to the genealogy and possible conspiracies within Deus? Or a Beach getaway with Sasha?
. . .
This would take some more pondering.
Still, Rep had a point or two as well. Otto idly played with his lip as he thought and listened. "Maybe.. dangit. What a troll." Otto huffed and turned. "Well, I got a Division lead to harrass. See ya later, dude."
