[disclaimer: there is no actual party...]
Adessi had just finished any sort of schoolwork that she had and decided to go for another walk... the Hedge Maze hadn't been very fun, so this time she wound up at the sparkling lake. She shuffled down to the shoreline, stopping just before the sand. A frown came to her face... sand was messy... she'd probably ruin her dress if she went to sit in it.... but it would be fun to play in the sand... it was a shame she didn't have a bathing suit yet.
She eventually sat down where she was, just sort of staring out at the lake. It sure was pretty, she wondered why no one else was around.
Except there WAS someone else around. Echo had once again weaseled his way away from his mother and found the lake. Unlike Adessi he hadn't really cared about ruining his clothes (he hated this outfit!) and so a few minutes before she had arrived, he'd actually waded into the water.
He surfaced, then noticed there was another kid around... she seemed more like a ragdoll than anything else. Ugh. He swam back to the shore, but didn't approach her for now. Rags were not to be associated with, after all!

Nikki had been waiting like a shark awaits a school of fish when another person arrived, her eyes following the pink boy mischievousness glinting in her eyes. Making sure to keep out of sight of him, she slowly approached, but constantly was forced to dive under water to avoid his gaze, slowing her. But soon he was swimming to the shore, as a cute doll-person, (wow she had never seen a doll person, that was interesting wow she really loved dolls this person must be amazing...), settled into sitting down. But Nikki had a goal in mind, as she swam closer to him now, as quietly as she could, diving deep underwater so he would not notice her.
As soon as she was close to him she quickly swam to the surface, a loud "GLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUB!" screamed at the top of her lungs as she attempted to scare him.

Adessi had been about to wave a greeting to the kid in the lake when another one popped out of nowhere, and screamed. She jumped a bit, and scooted back up the hill a little more. How frightening!
Echo had not expected to be surprised like that... but when Nikki did surface and scream he whipped around as fast as the water would allow, letting out a bit of a yelp of surprise himself.
"W-what the hell!" He kicked at the water to get further away from her, face forming an angered expression. "What is WRONG with you!?"

Nikki giggled as he backed off from her snorting as she covered her mouth to stop the giggling, sinking down into the water for a moment and then swimming back up and panting, having forgotten that treading water requires her to use her hands. She simply looked at Echo while still giggling, though maintaining control of the giggles now, a little sad at how mad he was acting, "Aww, I was jus jooookin'!!! You jus came and were wimmin around and I dought it would be funny!!"" She pouted at Echo, big eyes wide, "You're reeeaaally pretty up close dough!!!!! I feel bad for scaring pretty things! So I'm sorry..." Echo's skin was dangerously close to her favorite color. He was thus one of the prettiest things. But so was the doll girl who she lifted a hand to wave to, even while talking to Echo.

Oh.. the new one waved. Adessi shyly waved back, and then moved a bit closer to the lake again. At least no one was hurt? But she wasn't about to go out into the sand and get her dress dirty.
Pretty?
A sly smile grew over his face, exposing his many sharp teeth. "Pretty, huh?" He swam a little closer to shore. "I suppose I can forgive you, since you obviously have good taste!" Once he reached the shore he pushed himself up to his feet and shuffled up to the dry sand, then looked around...
Now where did he leave the rest of his clothes? Walking around with only his pants was out of the question.

Nikki followed the pretty boy up onto the beach, showing that she was genius enough to have... dived into the water fully in her dress, and shorts, laughing as she got out, "Nora's gonna be maaad if I drip all ober her agin!" She pumped her fist into the air as if this gave her a reason to hang out longer, though none was needed, and left the boy to find his clothes as she skipped over to 'Dessi.
Leaning over as she got near where Dessi was, she let her eyes widen and her mouth turn into an O, "Wow!!!!!!!!!!! You really dooooo look like a doll! Wow that is so pretty wooooww I love dolls!!! Hiiiii!!! I am Nikki!!!!! Hehehehe!"

Oh wow she went into the lake fully dressed... her clothes were probably ruined. Adessi shook her head a little, but put up a polite smile when Nikki approached. "Hello... I'm Adessi. Um... thank you..." She shifted a little, finding Nikki's abundant energy to be intimidating.
Wait. Here he was, totally awesome and great, and she wandered off to go talk to that rag doll? Echo huffed, rolling his eyes. Maybe she didn't have the great taste he thought she had. He turned on his heel, putting his back to the two girls, and sought out his clothes.

Nikki giggled at Adessi's shyness, the doll-girl just looking so adorable. If she wasn't soaking wet she'd totally go and hug the girl, but unfortunately she was wetter than a sponge! Or maybe not that wet, but she still did not think hugging her was a good idea, "I'd offer you a hug since like wow! Hugs are de bes way to meet! But wet hugs are just sicky and goss and weeeiiird so I wont do dat Des-Des!! But wow two really pretty people!!" She settled down far enough away from Adessi as to not get her wet, "Am really lucky today!" Her eyes briefly turned to look at the pretty boy, tapping where she sat as she waited for him.

"O-oh... yes, wet hugs are really uncomfortable..." She nodded a little. "Is that your friend?" She nodded in Echo's direction.
Echo finally found his other clothes and pulled them on... then trudged back over to where the girls were. He was bored, and figured they'd be good entertainment for now. He plopped down a decent way away from Nikole, not at all where she'd patted.

Nikki looked over and stared at Echo as he began dressing, before looking back at Dessi right as he was reaching them, "Noope, I do not even know his naaaaaaameeee~". Not at all hinting towards anything, she proceeds onward, "I love to cook and play games and sew and I love love love making little metal designs!!! I mean I have a doll that I made aaaall on my own tooo!!! An' you are really really pretty like her!" She scooted a little towards Echo, "Wha do you two like ta do? Besides being preeettty I mean hehehe!"

Adessi nodded a little. Nikole sure was loud... "Oh, I like to sew too... I'm still practicing but I've made some dolls too." She grinned, Nikole was the first person she'd met that also liked to sew.
Echo of course picked up on the not so subtle hint to introduce himself. "I'm Echo. I guess its nice to meet you." He shrugged. "Anything I like to do is probably too sophisticated for you guys." He adopted a sort of smug smirk. What a brat.

Nikki grinned back at Dessi, happy that the quieter girl seemed to like that she sewed, and proud of the fact that she already got her to grin! She inwardly pumped her fists into the air in victory, though even she realized how odd that would look.
Echo's answer was less satisfying however, and the wet girl scooted her way closer, before switching to all fours to move quicker, getting up in his face if he allowed it, "Not very niiiiiiiice Mr. Pretttttttyyyyypinkieeeeee!!!" She sniffled quietly, her hair turning sky blue in color now.

"I don't think..." Oh, too late... Nikole had already gotten into his face. Adessi sighed and shook her head a little. She could already tell that Echo was not a people person... or at least, was not a nice people person...
Echo leaaaaned backwards, scowling. "Get out of my face. And don't call me that, I gave you my name so USE it." He pushed himsef up to his feet with a huff, and folded his arms across his chest.

Nikki frowned as Echo got angrier, seeming disappointing with him, as she settled down to look back at the ground, "You are kind of meeean. I like calling you pretty, and Etcho is less fuuuuuunn." She laid back, pointing up at the sky, "An' it don' hurt anyone to not have your name used! Unless it does. Does that hurt? Oh my gos, if it does I am sorry!"
Dessi was given a break from Nikki's pestering, due to Echo being a butt,

Echo considered her words for a moment, and then considered what he wanted... He wanted her to use his name, and she wasn't going to unless it hurt him... "YES! It DOES hurt, how could you be so inconsiderate!?" He sighed dramatically, placing one hand against his cheek in a display of sadness. "It wounds me deeply when people don't use my name."
What a drama queen.
