Yuki padded down the long hallway, her vulpine companion ever present at her side. Her geta made a light click against the floor as she came to a stop before a door marked 207. “
Here we are. Are you as excited as I am to see what our new home will look like?”
The nine tailed fox rolled his eerily white eyes up at her, shooting the girl an unamused look. “
Just unlock the door.”
“
You're no fun.” Yuki replied, and fished inside her kimono sleeve for the door keys, pulling out a single silver key. Unlocking the bolt she swung the door to their new domicile open. “
Ta-da!”
Tutsumi slowly padded into the room silently taking in the Japanese decor. “
Not bad...”
With a squeal Yuki flew into the room, the door shutting behind her. She slid effortlessly out of her geta, and kicked them to the door. “
Eee, they made it look just as I asked! Look at all of this!” She began admiring the various items and nicknacks in the room.
Tustumi crawled on one of the two futon mattresses, on the floor, and flopped down with an “
unf.” With half lidded eyes he watched his younger 'sister' flutter about the room. “
I can't believe you still have this much energy.” He murmured to himself.
Yuki turned to her 'big brother.' “
Hm? Are you alright?”
“
We flew all the way here from Kyoto. I'm dealing with some serious jet lag...” His eyes slowly slid shut as he grew too tired to hold them open.
Quietly she made her way to her brother's side. “
Is there any thing I can do for you? Would you like some hot tea?”
Peaking one eye open Tutsumi gazed lazily at Yuki, who was on all fours at the side of his bedding. “
...N-no, I'll be fine. Just don't listen to the radio or TV too loud. I'm going to take a nap.”
“
Okay.” Yuki beamed a big smile to her brother.
“I'll try to be quiet.”
