Today I am cooking and decorating for a costume party I am throwing. We kind of dropped the ball on inviting people, so we had to invite them last minute. Now I doubt anyone will show up. We're going to end up with tons of food and drinks and spend the night sitting in our costumes for nothing. People want me to be more social with the morons who share this planet, and this is what happens.
Can't say I didn't try.
On the bright side, we're going to see Wreck-it-Ralph tomorrow. I'm really excited about that since I was kind of raised on videogames.
I'm concerned about the lack of guild activity. We have about 15 members and only 4 or 5 actually post. I spent so much gold on this guild and worked so hard to make it what it is... and for what? It's all gone to waste. I could've just opened a thread in the Gaia forums. But I wanted to make something special and bring lots of people together. And nobody posts. I've spent over 1mil on this and it really crushes me to see that hard-earned gold wasted like this. I've bought sub-forums, items for prizes, a chat space that no one uses, and not to mention the gold for events and games that I gave away and the gold that gets used for announcements that I am sure never get read...
Now you know why I am always getting on to members for not posting and why I am so harsh on demanding active members. So, please - don't let me down. Invite active users that you RP with, invite friends, do what you can to help this guild stay active.
Consider this a trial period. You have until January 1st (US Central time) to help me resurect this guild before I just decide to shut it down.
I don't want to keep pouring gold, time, and energy into this if it's not going to be worth it.
