((Feel free to join if you're interested in meeting Abayomi! I haven't been around much, so this is me getting my foot back in the door. heart ))
The crisp night air rejuvenated Abayomi's strength, wings out wide in a deep stretch while her jaw unhinged and released a yawn. When she started to unfurl herself from the jungle floor, the lioness moved with an air like quality. She danced along to a tune that only played within her head, wearing what seemed like a permanent smile upon her ebon lips. It was faint and sweet, and it lifted her white cheeks and pinched her golden eyes ever so slightly; but it was Abayomi. Her signature countenance. She was forever happy.
These rogue lands were her favorite to roam. No rules needed to be abided by, not amongst the homeless and the lost. Her bounds synced with the chatter of beads that hung around her neck, a hint to the goddesses presence; purposely made to call forth those who might be in need of uplifting. It was yet another reason why she adored the jungles feel of freedom. From the darkest of corners could come the lightest of characters, and vice versa, all a welcomed sight to the goddess of festivals. She reverberated a sense of liveliness, an unmistakeable energy that surged through to even the most grumpiest of creatures. It was euphoric, and it would often send her into a tizzy if she let it get the best of her.
She had been traveling for quite some time. Lost in her own thoughts, stopping in on strangers, simply being a part of all the things she could. But tonight the lioness was tired of flapping her wings in search for activity. She did not want to fly long distances, not on such a glorious night as this...no, tonight she simply felt the need for local company. This place had over time become something of a 'home' to her. Abayomi felt welcomed even in the silence, and the noises she made called desperately to the shadows; begging them to come alive.
She purred loudly, lept upon a large stone that stood in her way, and then sat down. Someone would come...she was sure of it.
