(the halls are mostly quiet, random bits and scraps of noise from classes in session.)

School. It will be 'fun' she said. Meet kids your own age. Like that went well for most teenagers? Really great advise Auntie, wonderful words of wisdom. Eira assumed she would find something redeeming in the move but not yet, granted she hadn't given herself much chance to seek it out. The fairy hadn't bothered to pay attention to the lady who had told her what class to go to, let alone where it was. Eira had decided wandering around the halls was more interesting at the time, but was now realizing how boring this really was.
She was pretty disappointed with a lot of things so far, normally when she showed up somewhere, people did a double take. No one batted an eyelash here, she was... normal? Well maybe not quite, but everyone was a bit off, and she didn't really seem to stand out. She wanted heads to turn when she walked in, a bit of shock! A whole lot of attention, then wham before they knew it she'd kicked the party in gear. Well, maybe that was a bit overselling herself, she'd yet to truly get to let her party animal out. Half the point of coming here she supposed.
Eira wondered if there was somewhere with food. Well, not like she had much else to look for.

Andra was hunched over and awkwardly half-crawling beneath the window set into a classroom door, straightening when she was positive she had cleared it and wouldn't be seen. Having days where she was 'in the mood' for attending class were pretty rare for her, even if she was a relatively new arrival at the school. Today was certainly not one of those days. She was on the move and heading somewhere better, with less note-taking and things she had to read. Her attention span couldn't afford her to be caught and dragged back into - what even was that subject, history?
Feeling lucky, the teen loped past the last classroom in the hallway and slowed to a more leisurely stroll as she made it into safer territory. Seems like she had evaded capture without too much effort so far, which produced a smug grin on her face. However, it wasn't long after she had finished patting herself on the back that Andra turned her head slightly and noticed another girl wandering in her direction. That could mean trouble for someone playing hooky, so she decided to cover her bases before the girl could rat her out. Squinting her blackout eyes at Eira in order to scrutinize her appearance, she suddenly forgot about the excuse she was about to offer and said something else instead. "Hey, nice legs." She gave a very meaningful pause, then added, "...You know, the tights and all. I like 'em. I'm skipping class by the way, so don't mention that to your teacher."

Eira looked down, having to check to remember which tights she threw on today. She cocked a grin, of course, she should have known. These were her favorites, and everyone should love them. This girl got points for liking them that was sure. She seemed to have a fair kick of style too, and really interesting horns to boot. Well, honestly Eira thought the girls entire look was amazing. Definatly the best style she had seen since she had shown up at this place, but it wouldn't do to gush. That would likely be completely lame. Probably.
"Thanks, sweet horns. My names Eira and to be quite honest, I really don't care if I find my class." She shrugged and shifted her bag on her shoulders. "Know of anything interesting to do around here?"
If she could hit off with this girl, she could count herself on the way to do a decent start here.
