History

Let's start from the begining shall we?

There isn't much to tell about my childhood. I was born in the streets and then tossed out, simple as that. Not even opened my eyes yet and I am rejected by my parents, I don't even know who my parents are. Not any form of contact over the past seventeen years. So, I lived in an orphanage all of my life. The damp, run down building that I called home. I went to school around the corner of the street. I hated both places, made me sick to my stomach everyday. My older brother took care of me though, I was surprised I ever found him at all. Living in that crummy old place for six years before I ever saw him.

Joseph was his name, but that doesn't matter anymore. So, one day I was just getting out of school and was about to walk home when I saw this man. A tall man about twenty years old or so waiting for me in front of the school. He walked back to the orphanage with me and we talked in the office for hours. He told me how he had hated how our parents through me out and pledged to one day find me. From that day on I spent everyday after school with him. That only lasted for a few year though, for when I was ten, he was killed in a car accident.

After his death I went crazy pretty much. Didn't care about anything any longer, made some bad choices, got together with the wrong people. The law became our worst enemy, but we did not care. Stealing, Vandalism, Break-ins, and once.... murder. That one is for later though. So, yeah, we weren't the best of teenagers. Always getting in to trouble, the group of us. There was about... maybe three or four in total. We were fast, fast as can be. No one ever got caught... well... I did. I was the 'slow' one. Meaning that everyone pointed fingers at me, I didn't really mind though. It was only warnings and sometimes a night in juvy, nothing bad.

That was until my sixteenth birthday. My group said they had something really cool planned, so I went along with it. Of course, knowing them, it was something really bad, really illegal. I thought we were just gonna rob a store or something like that, but no. I followed them to a little area in the corner of town, a place we always hung out at. One of the guys pulled out a knife, we all laughed and thought he was just being funny. But the minute some guy walked by, he grabbed him and held the knife to his throat, demanding everything he had. Everyone else was shocked, we had never gone this far before. The man was stronger than my friend though, pushed him off and started to run. My friend was afraid though, afraid of getting in SERIOUS trouble. So... he ran after the man.... and killed him. I don't want to get into details.

That was it for us, we were done. Everyone spilt and went in different directions. I of course, chose the wrong one. A cop grabbed me, I was nervous and it was obvious. I was brought in for questioning. When the body was found a few hours later, everyone turned to me. I didn't want to rat my friend out.... I told them it was me. No one truly believed me, but they could not get any other information out of me. I was convicted guilty right then and there, no trial, nothing... Very democratic...

There must have been something looking out for me though. There was a man there, a man that looked odd. Official looking, like he was from the government or something. He had had spoken to the police chief and there was a little verbal brawl about what he had said. The man pulled out a small card and the officer looked a bit confused, but he backed off. Eventually the man came up to me and took me aside. In a low voice,he told me he would give me an option. Go to jail or testing.

I did not know what they meant by testing, I just thought it was like surveys or something. I said yes to the testing, anything to escape prison. Of course, it was nothing like that. It was literal testing. I was brought to the Vatican City to a headquarters there. I was told it had something to do with the war, of course, I was near oblivious to any sort of war. I didn't know what was to become of me, I just slept. That was all I did, I slept. I thought this was certainly better than prison. I was so calm, so relaxed. Until that first needle went in.

Pain, so much pain, it ached, my entire body ached. It was like someone had just poured lava over my entire body. Fire, a burning fire, I screamed, oh did I scream. That first vile was hell itself, that first vile of Fallen blood. I thought after that it would be over, that I could leave, go home. One vile was just the beginning though. Ten viles per sequence. I did not know what the researchers and scientists spoke of at first, it was just a loud of gibberish to me. Over time it began to make sense, the name they called me, the tests, so many tests. I was a lab rat.

Subject A001, that was my name for two years, it still is sometimes now. I am still subjected to that torture chamber of a lab. Sometimes I am called back to do more tests, to see if I am still surviving with the blood inside me. Oddly, I have been abel to survive while many others have perished. I am subject A001, the most previous one to die has been Subject B028. There second batch had run amuck. Killed almost every single one to try it. All of us subjects were prisoners, convicts, enemies of the law. We were the bottom of the litter. The ones surely to die.

I was said to be their most successful subject. Their first as well. I was the one to completely gain all of the traits that they aspired to. I was supposed to be a weapon to them. Somebody that could help get human kind out fo the war. (Yeah, I learned more about the war over two years) I refused, i told them I would not be some sort of solider, not after what they did to me. What did they do exactly? They injected Fallen blood into my bloodstream, changing me, making me no longer human. I became more like the Fallen. Enhanced Speed, Strength, and Senses. The downfall, I am affected my iron and silver. It burns to the touch, so I tend to have everything I own aluminum or bronze.

This is me. A freak in the human eyes. Somebody who has been tested on and cast away. I am not human anymore, but I am not Fallen. What am I really except a freak? A freak of nature...

The Sacred Darkness

This is a very interesting and well-thought out character. ^^

One question: Humans don't know that the Paranormals exist, so how could the cops that had her put on trial know about any testing going on in the Vatican City headquarters?

Ah, yes. Sorry about that.
I have added a paragraph in explaining further.
Hope that helps.

One more thing; could you expand on what you mean by "Mortal Traits" in the Abilities section? That doesn't explain much on what kind of abilities she has.
