Is guilds where we escape to avoid the pain of the real gaiaonline.
Actually I'm not sure but many of you are scared! Scared to see words of hate used toward others as a "fun" word. To see acts of questonable legality to be treated as normal. To see people cuss, to see people make thier own stupid religion, and to see christians do absoluetly nothing. That scares me. It scares me because there are more than 1 million people on Gaia and thier all listiening to Crime, Cussing, etc. I hope that they realize the falseness of these actions on thier own or else. We as Christians... fail!
Didn't god say "GO! And make disciples of many nations."
We need to "GO! And make disciples of many Gaians."
Or we could corrode in this guild as Gaiaonline turns into "down under"
I hope this never happens, but I think we as Warriors for Christ MUST make an effort on such a calling task. As impossible as it may seem, it is Christ who gives us strength. I hope we make a change!
Also I am making a guild for believers/non-believers to hang out talk in a G rated setting. I only have 4,000 gold donated, Goal: 20,000 gold.
May be impossible but it is God who gives us strength. Please help make this guild. P.S. Bumpers may join but in a Mild way.

Bless us as we try to make a better Gaia and minister in Forums. Also let this guild be made to bless you in every way.

I know how you feel. Christians are largely missrepresented and often bashed through Gaia forums. It is difficult to see this will looking through the forums, but its hard to just jump into some of those threads. What I most often incounter is closeminded people who are there just for the sake of argueing, venting, or just causing trouble. I usually try to stay out of those mainly because I wouldn't do much good, even if I put them in their place. Where I do try to post, if time allows, is in threads where someone is seeking advice or has a specific question I can answer. That is the best I've been able to do so far since I don't spend a whole lot of time on Gaia. I mainly just try to at least look after this guild. sweatdrop

Many poeple who claim to be Christian want to join thses guild to feel good. That want a place where there is no fighting, or debating, every one agrees on the basics. Sound a lot like church. Now I not say that we all need to go out and teach to all nations. We all are not called to do that. We tell all Christian they must do that but Jesus was not talking to every body that fallowed and served him, only the remainding eleven that he had train to be the hands and feet. Most of us are to make up the body which hold and supports the arms and legs.
Still, we are to show that Jesus lives in us based on our actions, but some want to take that salvation and hide it.

Yes, and we are to be stuck pigs in our guilds and make the legs and arms? I see where you are coming from but what you don't understand is that the apostles were sent out to minister where the could. The appostles didn't have access to millions of people. All they had was a donkey or two and a few followers. We have about 3 clicks. Is that to hard?
Also when you said "some people have diffrent areas of ministering" you are right, only one problem. That was a foolish thing to say. I'm sorry this may be hard to hear but, WE HAVE THE ABILLITY TO SERVE! To serve in a christian guild where we are in our comfort zone is great. But to serve in a GD Forum, well... that is persecution and hard work

You got to keep in mind not everyone has that specific gift. Many have tried to do as you asked but have achieved nothing. God calls us to use the gifts we have, not the ones we don't have. Evangelizing isn't for everyone. Some are a lot better at just serving in the way they know best. A Church of 300 in Little Rock(I think) decided to quit just trying to evangelisim and instead do something they knew how to do. They started with a food pantry, then a cheap clothing shop, then delivering medication to the elderly, and they kept growing. They now have more than 1000 members. I think you have a great passion for what needs to be done, but each of us has to start somewhere where we know we can accomplish something. A guild is a good start, after awhile we might be able to do something great, but we have to start small first and work our way up to it. If you have any suggestions or examples of what you have been doing, maybe some of us can help. I understand your concern but you need to communicate to us differently, give us options not guilt trips.

I do get the pleasure to teach some one about the word every now and them but to talk up and ask some one do they know Jesus as their lord and saver, one I get stage fright and to they realy is not a good question becuse many will say yes to get you to leave them along. I'm the type to wait for a door to open to plant the seed. I usaly get these doors by doing something to cuase people to ask me something.
I will also bring something bibical up is some of my talks but I don't harp on it so I not to turn someones ears off. I feed them a little at the time. But I find other areas to serve as well. I work the sound board and video at my church. I may not have the gift to go out and bring many people to Christ but I can help those who have that gift to evangelize.

It is not hard to do Brothers and sister. I had recently fought of the evil in men yesterday. Together we can withstand the blow of Satan himself. We have been so far. We can do so again. It is true that it become draining and corrupting. I myself was immediatly heartbroken and tired after hearing nothing but crude comments of my alliance with Christ. We only need to mass the leaders and teach the followers to be leaders. As influences to others who follow we can show how to leave our comfort zone in the guild and strike at the hearts of the Lost sheep. Mind you, i mean this sincerely, not as a dictator. We simply must be present for those who seek guidance, we must be present just as jesus was. He had time for many people to discuss upon God's desire's for all. He had time to guide the lost. If you seek Gods face you he will seek you as well. Eventually we will help the lost to be found. We just need to step out of our barracks in here and preach the Good Word. Who is with me. For i am willing to once again strike the extended discussion forum. Hopefully they will not shaft me to the chatterbox forum.

I think that if Jesus were living on earth today, the Great Commission would say something like this: Quote: Matthew 28:18-20 (Gaia Online Version) Then Jesus posted to them with a literacy unknown to his disciples, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and in Gaia. Go, guys, and make disciples of all forums, *baptizing them* in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, posting to them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of GaiaOnline." I meant that in no way to be offensive. But I do feel strongly about witnessing on Gaia. We, as Christians, don't need a one-day trip to the forums to tell people that Christ loves them, we need a battleplan to go and take the forums EVERY day, and reach the lost for Christ. Did you know that 90% of people who come to know Christ do so before the age of 20? After 20, people are pretty much set in how they will live their lives as far as their heart for Jesus. There is a window of time that we have to reach people, and Gaia may very well be the best place on earth for us to reach people in that window. We have to get out to the forums and be hardcore for Jesus every single day, Hooah?

Dude im in the ED all the time and i see the Anti-christian posting all the time and those are the ones that draw me them so I can help enlighten the author of the post to show them what atrue christian is and to show them the lords love.
