≪PRP for Asu, Kinesthetic, & Yookami≫ XXXXMoira sighed softly as she checked her phone once more as she headed outside of the small house that she and Vic had purchased after their wedding, making sure that she got the time and date right that she had put into the small device after receiving a letter from Avon, the Elder Demon who looked after the meta's who shared his traits. Even though she had shunned the entire side of her family, sans her brother Silas, that had been the head 'Doctors' of the Academy, the half-angel was still decently kept up-to-date about things that did concern the Academy and the well being of those inside the walls of the old place. Then again, Moira had some prior contact with the Meta that she was contacted about to begin with, so it wouldn't be too off course for the Elders to ask for her help with something concerning the boy.
While walking, her mind wandered to the events that had transpired within the past couple of months, most, if not all, of them being smoothed over by the Elders. Even with the issues being sorted out, there were always small whispers as to what had happened to those who had caused the events and with the letter she was sent, Moira was fairly certain she knew what had happened, but she kept mum about it - even to her husband. Making the short walk to the main building of the large grounds, the pink-haired woman made he way to the desk and showed the woman at the counter the letter she was sent, figuring that would get her to see Avon faster than trying to tell her that she was told to meet up with an Elder about something that wasn't a test of some sort or that she herself was in trouble.

Avon had been waiting for Moira for a decent amount of time. He paced back and forth in his office, occasionally glancing over at the pale little boy in his chair. Tobias was still as blank as ever, not really watching anything... although the third eye that had appeared on his forehead after the injection occasionally glanced around the room. Avon found it a little disturbing, but tried to pay it no mind. He knew those vials were going to mess up, the Doctors and scientists they employed were never that reliable.
He glanced at the wall on the clock, and then to Tobias once more. This time the eye was focused on him. "I'll be back momentarily Tobias, your new mother should be here right about now," Avon kept his tone quiet, calm. Tobias didn't respond at all.
He sighed, and then turned to leave. He trotted down the stairs to the front office, just in time to see Moira hand her letter to the secretary. "No need, she's here for me. Come this way please, Moira?" He waved a beckoning hand, and then started back up the stairs again.

XXLooking up when she heard the familiar voice of the Elder, Moira smiled and pocked the letter and walked over to him. "Sorry if I'm late, I was trying to keep Vic out of the issue for now.. I don't want to drag him into what goes on in this place when bad things happen.." She sighed, running a hand through her hair that she left down today instead of putting up in it's usual ponytail or messy bun. Even though she trusted Vic, she still was worried about what he would think about the things that she herself was privy to back when she was still around her blood-family or even the 'bad things' that could attach to Metas themselves.
As they walked, she tucked her wings close to her back, wondering what exactly the vague letter was about, but she dare not speak about it in the open corridors that had closed and opened doors to various other rooms, some dustier than others due to lack of use.

"It's fine Moira, you're just on time. I apologize for the vagueness, I have to keep the safety of these two a top priority... which is why I contacted you." He stopped just outside his office, hand on the knob, facing Moira.
"I trust you already knew that the murdered family was Tobias Imbrie's? I know you babysat him on at least on occasion."

XXShe nodded to both things that he said, pushing a strand of hair behind her ear after the last one, "Yes, it was.. sad to hear, but from what I observed before it..it made me question why they even bothered to adopt someone like us. We're not normal at all and they were highly religious - it doesn't make any sense as to why they'd want a child who can grow up to completely debunk your ideas and ideals of your choice of religion." As Moira spoke, she shifted her weight slightly, wanting to get that thought out of her head seeing as she had it since she had been hired by the Imbrie's even though she herself was an Angel - or a Half-Angel, but she never told them that.

"On the outside they seemed like the perfect family... unfortunately I didn't catch what they were hiding..." He trailed off, sighing. "Anyway, as it were... Tobias was not actually the murderer in this case, although he did lash out and attack his father. He ended up calling a friend of his, who took matter into his own hands." Avon's face fell a little, it was a shame what he had to do to punish the boys.
"The past few months they were both degrading, wasting away, as it were. So I offered them an out, and they took it. They were both injected with the disease that caused us Metas to revert to our child stage, and completely wipe our memory. Zahur is staying with his father again, but Tobias does not have anyone to go to so..." He left off again, and then cleared his throat.
"I figured that since you had already had experience with him, it would be best to ask you to take care of him. I should warn you though that the disease caused a bit of a mutation in him, he looks different than he did before. As far as his personality... its still forming. He's still as quiet as ever and doesn't speak... I haven't noticed any violent behavior in him."

XXMoira fell silent and listened while Avon spoke, hanging onto his every word because acts like these weren't common among them. She had even read a bit about the disease and the vial that he spoke of, in fact at one point she had thought about asking it to be used on herself, but that was before she had the pleasure of meeting Vic. Looking towards the door as the Elder cleared his throat, Moira's gaze snapped back to him when he spoke of her taking care of the boy.
"Are you sure..?" She asked, her eyes widening slightly, "I mean, I'll do it if it is alright, but.." Moira paused, trying to gather her thoughts. She did want to have a kid - possibly adopt one first, but this was a far different outcome than what she expected.

"I don't have any doubts that you would make an excellent caretaker, but If you don't feel you're up for it, then its fine. I can find someone else to keep an eye on him." Avon shook his head a little. "I supposed I'm mostly looking for someone with enough observation skills to see if he has any flashbacks. Some of the effected Metas still have flashbacks that are triggered by similar environments... I've already gotten rid of all of his old belongings. I know that a homelife with you would not be like it was with the humans that adopted him."

XXA small smile made it's way to her lips, happy that an Elder thought she would be a good parent. "Well, I can say for sure that I am willing to take him in if you believe that Vic and I will be suitable parents for him." Moira bowed slightly, still pleased by the compliment on something she had not yet had any real experience in except for babysitting and looking after some other younger Metas and children.

"Excellent, let's head in then." Avon turned the knob on the door and stepped inside. Tobias was still on the chair, though all three eyes were focused on them as soon as they came into view.
"Tobias, this is Moira. She and her husband are going to be taking care of you from now on." Avon stepped closer to the desk, motioning for Tobias to get up.
Tobias slowly slid off of the chair, and even more slowly moved out from behind the desk. All three of his eyes looked from Avon to Moira, then back, and then finally settled on Moira.
"Do I have to go now?" He sounded the a little emptier than he had last time he and Moira had met.

XXMoira waved at the small boy and when he slid off the chair, she took a couple steps forward, but stopped as soon as he spoke. She knew what the injection did - the eye its self wasn't the most startling part of the boy, it was that he sounded so distant and it sent a chill down her spine. Shaking off the chill, she walked over to him and knelt down to get on eye level before holding out her hand, "We can leave now if you want to, but we can stay for a little bit if you would like to say goodbye to some of the folks here." she said softly, another smile coming to her lips but this one was gentle and warm.

Tobi glance to Avon, then back to Moira again. "He's the only one I know." He shrugged a little, taking her hand. "I guess we can go then... its boring here." Well, at least he had a want for things to do. Avon reached over and patted his head.
"Well, let me know if you need anything at all." He stepped over to a shelf, then grabbed an envelope off of it. "This should have everything you need in it." He held it out for Moira to take. The envelope in question had contact information, and details about how to use the vast amount of wealth Tobias had inherited after the death of his parents.

XXStanding up, she took the envelope and decided it'd be best for both her and Vic to look at it, so she put it with the letter that she was sent a couple days earlier about this. Looking down at Tobias, Moira smiled again, "Let's head out then, our house isn't too far off but it's about a ten minute walk." she said simply before starting towards the door, holding onto the boys hand. Moira had started off slowly, taking one step to see if he would indeed follow next to her.

Thankfully he did, waving a little at Avon as they left. "Are there hills? I don't like hills... they're hard to walk on... and stairs are annoying too." He sighed mentally, loudly enough for Moira to hear.

XX"Nope, no hills. It's a fairly level walk, though there are some slight inclines but they're not bad, the only stairs we have are those down to the first floor." Moira smiled down at him, squeezing his hand gently to let the boy know that she was there. Little things, little things that she wished her own parents would have done for her.
