This weekend I just played a lot of Sims 3 and D&D (was invited to a Halloween party but it was far and my bf had work the next morning), and Wednesday I'll be passing out candy at my mom's house.
Tuesday I'm having a birthday party that's going to be karaoke and costumed. biggrin

Because of Hurricane Sandy I'm not sure what's happening on Halloween. We bought lots of candy so if no kids show up I'm going to be stuck with lots of candy that I can't possibly eat by myself xD. I didn't have plans for Halloween anyways. I was probably just going to sit at home and type college essays while passing out candy.

Hey there.
Hi.
Halloween. It's a time of year in which children of all ages, including middle age, come together to give and receive candy. Candy do you ask? Why yes, I'd love some. Let me walk up to you, stranger, and take some.
For some reason, we enjoy dressing up in costumes otherwise known as "disturbing and strange" during the year yet on this day historical.
As for this day, I shall dress as the green power ranger, and go into work with said costumes.

I think it'd be cool if some community group got together after the whole storm passes and set up a pseudo-Halloween event. Like had one street or one area with booths so kids can go trick-or-treating (if the storm prevented them from doing so).

Like had one street or one area with booths so kids can go trick-or-treating (if the storm prevented them from doing so). Well, the storm cleared up the next day for me so plenty of kids came by. Still lots of extras but oh well. More for me! biggrin As for your idea, I actually think I heard something like that happening. Not near where I live, but I heard some people talking about it in school today :3
