Tendaji hummed to himself as he jogged through the tall grass of the savanna. Things were going well in his life; he'd rediscovered his family, learned to defend himself, and overcome his crushing fear of girls. He even dared to think that he getting to be pretty good around them. Not great, maybe, but he'd learned that when he didn't start every conversation with "HELLO YOU'RE PRETTY" then ladies were more inclined to talk to him. He just had to show some respect and be charming without being intrusive.
He paused to pluck a flower before moving on. He'd make a flower crown, he decided, and present it to the first person he encountered. Even if it was his creepy aunt Xandeleigh.

Ua had left Hu after spending a couple of weeks travelling with him. She adored that man but really, he was the pickiest person on the whole savannah. That forest is too big. That forest too small. That forest is actually just a tree in the desert stop being silly Ua. She rolled her eyes fondly. If that male hadn't been such a huge part of her life, she would hate him, she thought.
Oh well, she was enjoying her life as it was. She missed spending time with Hu but a few weeks at a time was all that she could handle while he was still trying to resettle into a place. She smiled, dodging through the savannah grass, though she soon become frustrated at the long grass obscuring her view.
She jumped up onto the nearest tall rock, appearing out the top of the grass. With a laugh, she launched herself to the next rock, which wasn't too far away, before poking her tongue out of her mouth just slightly, and scanning the grass for the next rock to leap to.
