The Jedi teachers all got together in the morning and decided that the younglings needed a break from their studies. So instead of their normal lessons today the younglings will be playing a game of hide and seek! Now the teachers set a border for where the younglings (and other hiders) can hide. The younglings cannot hide past the border. If they do they will have to sit out for the game. They are allowed to hide in trees, bushes, under rocks or even dig a hole and hide in it. As long as they stay in the perimeter they are allowed to hide anywhere they want.  ( a clearer easy to see map) (The darker parts of the map is tall grass, the lower left are trees, slot 20 is a pillar) Rules:In your first post post the number of where you are hiding in parenthesis. You are allowed to move every other post as long as it is to the next coordinate to your character. The seekers will rng 1-25. Then edit their post to either find a hider or fail to find anyone. Younglings, teachers, pride members, visitors in the pride lands and small npc critters (such as a frog) are allowed to play. Any character with evil intention (sith's I am looking toward you) should stick this one out. These cubs will be protected while they play and the jedi will be sure no harm falls upon them. If your youngling or character is found, they join the seekers. Two characters can share the same slot. For starting I will have Mirie be the first seeker. He will start seeking once there are at least 5 hiders. You are welcome to join in at any time. Depending on how fast the seekers find the hiders we might do another round. Mirie and Chosovi walked over to the spot where they were playing hide and seek. She had volunteered him to be the first seeker, something he wasn't over enthusiastic about. He was one of the oldest, if not the oldest youngling, something that was already pretty rough. Once they started the game though, he knew he would have a good time. "Now try not to be such a grouch when you are searching. Let yourself be free for a moment. It is a time to relax, to have fun. Get all those negative feelings out of you." Chosovi said in her airy voice. Mirie gave her a nod, but still didn't smile. Lately Chosovi had spent time with him. He wasn't sure why, other then he was one of the only wild dogs. The adult companionship was a nice change. “Now go and close your eyes over there. I will call out when you can come out.” Mirie nodded his head. He went over to where she pointed and closed his eyes. It would be tough to find his fellow younglings. He knew they were creative and could probably stay hidden for as long as their patience could bare. He would have to be watchful if he wanted to find them. Lucky for him, he had a pretty decent nose on him. Chosovi went to where the rest of the teachers were. Once she said go, she planned on hiding herself. “When you are ready go and hide. Youngling Mirie will search for you once everyone is hidden so take your time. Remember once you are found, you must help Mirie find the other younglings.” She said with a grin. “Oh and anyone is welcome to hide.” she said, hoping the knights who were walking near them could hear. She wanted this game to be fun for everyone. She made her way to the tall grass, making sure she could be heard by Mirie when she told him it was okay for him to start searching. As quietly as she could, she started to dig a hole. Once it was the proper size she laid down in the hole, her eyes peeking through the grass. She pulled the grass out of the ground and laid it over her back. It wasn't the best hiding spot, but for now it would work. ((Chosovi is hiding at 24))

Shukura waited by the edge of the playing field as the seeker, the oldest of all the Younglings, was set up. She pawed at the grass shyly, still unsure if she wanted to play. She really didn't know anyone here yet and it was kind of scary, but it did sound like a lot of fun...that and she was very quiet, so she was sure she could do a good job. And who knew, maybe she'd make some friends playing this game! As Chosovi came back to tell them all to hide, Shukura made her way slowly to one of the hiding spots. She made sure to take a funny route in case Mirie used his nose and, after a few odd hops, she jumped into the small pond at the edge of the hiding area. She swam across and settled herself in some reeds, blending in with the brown and blue water perfectly. Amber eyes watched the rest of the players hide, a tiny smile on her face. This could be kind of exciting... A little bug settled on her ear but she didn't twitch, not wanting to draw any sort of attention to herself. The ripples from her swimming had settled and now it was if no one had ever come this way. [Shukura is hiding in square 4]

Rinzen sat with her tail curled around her paws as she watched Chosovi instruct Mirie what to do. When the Knight came back over she dipped her head with a small smile in acknowledgement. "I am sure he will find it rather challenging but fun if there are many he didn't expect to be hiding." Another hint to any other the Knights to come join in the game. She stood up and watched as one of the Younglings, Shukura, went off to hide before slipping off to weave a trail that crossed over itself a few times then hid in the a bush for now. (Hiding in 12)

Sitting on the sidelines beisdes her sister, Lore listened to the rules carefully. She smiled at Akhana "This'll be fun!" She took a look at the area they could hide in, and caught sight of Warray out of the corner of her eye. Hew was sitting with the other adults who were watching them play. Lore waved at him with her tail. She hoped that she could make him proud.
As all the other Younglings headed of to hide, she turned back to her sister "We'll do great, may the Force be with you!" She gave her a quick incouraging head bump before leaving to find a hiding spot. She was going to head straight for her spot before she remembered that Mirie was going to be the one that was searching. His nose might be able to sniff her out! She took a quick detour and made her path longer and more complicated. Satisfied that she had done her best to throw off the wild dog, she headed for the pillar she spotted earlier. She took a moment to search out the spots she could grab and began to climb her way up. It took a bit longer then she was happier with, but she made it to the top in decent time. She flattened herself out to make herself harder to spot, and began to wait.

Jaryx had heard there was a small game going on for the Younglings in the pride and decided to come out to see what was going on. He listened as the rules were explained before slinking off, choosing to stick around and play. He could enjoy a bit of time to relax as well, he thought. The white and black cheetah slunk off and joined one of the other masters in the spot they were hiding. "I agree, Rinzen. It would be a very big surprise for him," he replied, sitting down next to her and curling his tail around his paws. He watched as the younglings scurried off to find their hiding place before the seeker started his search. (Jaryx is hiding in 12)

Akhana nodded to her sister. "I will try to have fun." she spoke quietly. She was sure she would, even if she was the first one found. Being around all the younglings was something that didn't happen to often. Plus Warray was there to watch them. She would be sure to make him proud or at least try. "May the force be with you as well sister."
As the others started to hide, she looked around for a spot. She wanted to find a really good one.
She followed Lore, but decided against hiding with her sister. Instead she saw the pond. She stepped into the water, but kept her head above water. Her face was hidden behind the tall grass. Now to wait in the cool water till she was found. She hoped it wouldn't take too long. (Akhana is in 5) "Already Mirie start looking!" He heard Chosovi call out. He opened his eyes and looked around. He saw groups on the side. From his perspective he couldn't see many spots his fellow younglings could hide in. However he spotted the pond and headed over there. He tried to smell out anything, but there were so many scents that he wasn't sure where any of the scents led. When he reached the pond, he didn't notice anyone. However he pushed back the grass and saw one of the cubs. He thought she was one of the newer ones. "Hello there." He said with a smile. "Want to join me and help find the others?" SilverLutz Shukura has been found, but you are more then welcome to help find the others now. The only rule is that you can't double post. Other then that feel free to roll.

[Dang that was fast! XD]
Shukura held very still as she heard the call for the seeker to start looking. Her heart began to beat loudly in her chest. This was an odd feeling...it must be like what bunnies and other prey animals felt like when they were being hunted. She really didn't like that sensation, and when the grass above her was pushed away, she let out a sigh of relief.
"Okay," she said shyly as the large wild dog spoke to her. She climbed out of the marshy area and shook herself a bit, freeing her fur of mud and dirt. The little lioness glanced up at Mirie with a hesitant smile, not at all embarrassed that she had been found so soon. He was an adult after all, and she was so little!
"You're a good finder," she said before looking around. Where would someone else hide...

A'lan sat on the sidelines with Drox. He watched the Younglings scatter to find their hiding spots along with a few Masters. Seeing them participate gave him an idea. He stood and playfully swatted Drox with his tail. "Come on Drox, let's go play with the Younglings." He smiled at the other Jedi "It will be fun." He checked to see if Mirie was out of site before heading for a hiding spot, knowing that Drox would follow. He found a nice collection of fairly dense bushes and pushed his way inside, making a comfortable cove for himself.

“They do seem like they are having fun.” Drox said, watching Mirie find one of the cubs. When A'lan said that he wanted to play, it took Drox a moment to realize that his best friend had taken off. Quickly he followed A'lan to the bush. Playing did seem like fun, plus it would be even harder for the wild dog to find so many of them! Plus there would be more for the young lioness to seek out as well. He went into the bush with A'lan, slightly pushing against his best friend. “Comfortable?” He asked jokingly. He pushed the branches back so they were well hidden. Now to wait. He listened to see if there were any foot steps. ((Drox is hiding in 1))

Shukura shuffled away from Mirie slowly, her tail between her legs. Oh boy, now it was her turn to be the hunter...but it was still scary! She felt like other lions and wild dogs were going to jump out at her and scare her! A deep breath and a few calming sighs later and her confidence was restored. This was hide and seek...only the seekers got to pounce on people.
...not that she was going to actually pounce on someone, though. That might be rude. And what if they were a lot bigger than her? She had seen a few other smaller cubs join in the fun, but for the most part it was adults hiding in the bushes and grass. Adults were big, and they could be kind of scary sometimes.

"Thank you." He said with a grin to Shukura. "Together I am sure we'll manage to find some of those who are hiding." Now that he had someone to seek with, he was sure it would be it would be better for him. Seeking alone could be dull, he thought.
Mirie thought he could smell something, but the scent died off. Maybe using scent wasn't the best idea. "Are you having any luck Shukura? I don't think there is anything over here." He looked around for any sign of movement. He saw a bush move, "I gotcha!" However when he looked closer, he realized no one was there, that it had been the wind. "Or not."

It didn't take long for Drox to follow and settle in. A'lan relaxed against his best friends side, making himself comfortable. So when he asked if he was just that, he chuckled. "Immensely. You make an excellent pillow."
And so be began to wait with Drox, though listening turned into a light doze. He trusted Drox to watch over him and the others.Abeo jogged up to the area they had made for the Younglings to play. She was a bit sad that she was late, but she had patrol duty for the perimeter of the pride, and that took precedent. Though she perked up when she saw a very familiar cub was one of the seekers. "You can do it Shukura!" She called out to the young lioness "You'll do great!" She settled down to watch next to a brown and green lion. She had never met him before and decided to introduce herself.
"Hullo!" She smiled "My name is Abeo, what is yours?"

The little lion cub glanced over at Mirie as he spoke up. She shook her head no, that she wasn't having much luck yet, and giggled slightly as he pounced on a bush that had no one in it. Ha...that was funny! The area seemed so big now that she had to search all of it.
"Maybe I'll try over here," she said softly, her voice barely heard as she started to move away from Mirie. There were two of them now, right? They could cover more land! She wouldn't move too far away from him, though, not wanting to get out of sight.
A familiar voice called out to her and she looked up to see who it was. A smile crossed her face as she recognized Abeo, the cheetah that had taken her into the pride after her father had left her. She gave a little wave of her paw before setting off, feeling a bit more confident now.

Watching the two younglings attempt to find everyone was slightly amusing. So far the only one that had been found was one of the youngest members of the pride. He was glad that she had decided to join in after being found. He watched as Mirie pounced a on bush that didn't have anyone hiding behind it. He would have to be sure top record this day just for the amusement it brought.
"Are either of them in your group?" he asked the youngling teacher he was sharing the hiding spot with. He tried to keep his voice low and keep himself crouched down when he saw the tiny lion cub a little ways away from them.
