1. Where do Purewalkers come from?
They come from Oyohusa, who was originally a kind shaman. Though the darkness turned his once kind heart evil and he was chased from his village. He made a deal with a nasty spirit to gain power and became the first Skinwalker. He shortly took his revenge out on his old village and upon discovering the Kawani Village the spirit that turned him into a Skinwalker returned and instructed the old Shaman to open up a portal for which the original 'purewalkers' could come out of the underworld and into the real world. He currupted a burial ground, the Cursed Graveyard, and set loose these terrible monsters onto an unsuspecting world.

2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing?
Purewalkers never make any close bonds or form relationships. Purewalkers are absolutely vicious, it's dangerous for them to be in groups and they can rarely take orders from other purewalkers. Messing with a purewalker will always lead to a fight and breeding with a purewalker isn't exactly the best time in the world either. They are born vicious and have no room in their hearts for love.


Name: Rajani - [ 'the dark one' in Sanskirt ]
Temper: Hostile
Personality: The very definition of a crazed Skinwalker, Rajani is always up for a hunt. She is the type to capture prey, let them loose, and stalk them slowly to their death. She is never swift in her killing, unless she is very hungry, and even than she'll usually find some small way to torment her prey. She does not kill purely for the sake of eating, she enjoys collecting the bones of her victims and has a special place for unique treasures/trophies she finds on her victims. She is very fast at analyzing a potential victim and forming a plot in her mind detealing every little thing she's going to do to them.
For all her craziness, she knows not to mess with an Angeni and would be very disappointed to find any group that has one watching over them. After all, she does love stirring up trouble for herds and maybe picking off a few of their members one at a time. She does tend to loose interest in big groups however, instead she loves to spread her torture as far as possible. Let everyone know the name of Rajani and have it strike fear in their hearts at the smallest whisper of it. She is one to maim at time and let her victims go, if only to have them be messengers of her horrifying reputation.
Brief History: Rajani has not spent a large amount of time in the Kawani Lands just yet, having only recently made her way through the entrance at the demon tree in the Cursed Graveyard. Once in the Cursed Graveyard it was not easy to get out of such a place. A place where there are numerous other Purewalkers stalking about all wanting to prey on the finest of meals. It took several scraps with other Purewalkers for Rajani to escape from the Cursed Graveyard and as such she is still mostly making her way around the Eastern and Main Lands of the Soquili. She is content there for now, having plenty of victims to stalk along the way. Let the rumors of her horror reach the western lands before she even sets foot there. Then, the real fun can begin.
What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Here is a map showing the area that Rajani has been known to explore since coming to the Kawani lands. She is very aware of the Harpy herd that is near by, but for the moment she is uninterested in them. Should anything change there, I would obviously discuss plots with Dragain and other members of The Flock. The smaller dark dot in the mountains marks roughly where you will find Rajani's claimed territory. She has a cave where she keeps trophies from her kills and the closer you come to the cave, the more bones you see scattered about. The bones purposes are two fold, one to scare away anyone that would mess with her things. And two, as she lets loose victims in this area to be hunted, the bones are meant to terrorize them even more.

The once loving Shaman Oyohusa let the darkness consume him; he used his powers for darkness. He made a pact with an evil being who transformed him into a Skinwalker using corpse powder. After he received his revenge against his village, the evil being came back and wanted his payment for the power he had bestowed upon Oyohusa. The dark Shaman used his abilities to open up a channel for the Original Skinwalkers to come forth from the deep abyss known as the Underworld. They are purebred, born the way they are. The pure walkers come forth from the permanent gate that Oyohusa made from an ancient tree in a sacred burial ground.

2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing?
No. Purewalkers are not allowed to fall in love with each other and if they do bond to a specific other, it will not be out of sentimental feelings toward that being, but a bond to preserve the species and spread the malevolence. Even these bonds may not last until the breeding due to the vicious temperaments of the purewalkers. Purewalkers cannot love, dragged from the deepest darkest abyss of the underworld, they are evil embodied on earth, there is no room in their abysmal hearts for Love, for it is a weakness and an abomination to possess such emotions.


Name: Jadis en Méchanceté
Temper: Flagitious
Personality:
Jadis is as wicked and gelid as a tempestuous blizzard, frigid to those who cannot bare her wrath, and deadly for those who are not strong enough to resist the lure of malicious power emanating from the storm inside of her; for it is in her nature to be nothing less. Within her icy blue gaze, her eyes are taciturn and calculating, complementing her mind which works in vicious ways towards those she deems unfit to walk the earth. Jadis lacks the patience to converse with beings she considers to be lesser than her, which is virtually every creature she encounters. Her feline nature takes over when the maleficence of her actions take seed, for she enjoy the sensation of basking in the raw verve her anger unleashes; the mayhem it causes makes her frosty exterior to appear almost giddy.

Brief History:
Her parents came from the ancient gateway from the Underworld; they were the bane upon the happy, joyful inhabitants of Kawani, until they were slain by a Hunter. Jadis never missed her parents, for because of their loss against the weakling of a hunter; they too were weak and deserved their fate. The young purewalker wandered the lands, causing destruction and death where ever she traveled; she had no fear from hunters, for she knew she could best any that tried to take her life. After years of traveling the white purewalker with the black pelt made a home in the frosty snow covered mountains. A village of fur covered humans lived there in peace with their Soquili until she arrived. Slowly she reduced their numbers, like a blizzard, continuing its surge until none were left to fight. She did the same with a herd of winged soquili in a valley over from where the fur clad humans lived and died. The winged soquili were supposed to be able to put up an interesting fight, since they were the ancient warriors known as the Vigdís. It was pathetic, they died just as quickly and as easily as the humans; Jadis left one mare alive, the one who had the celebration in her honor, just because she could and believed it to be a whole new type of sweet delicious torture. Soon the mountain was no longer covered in snow, but the red of blood, and quickly she grew bored from the lack of potential victims, it was then Jadis en Méchanceté made the decision to return back to the place where she was born, the land of the Kawani.

What is this character currently doing in the Kawani?
Her old hunting grounds have become devoid of life for none who lived there were strong enough to handle her slaughter. She came back to Kawani to spread her terror and to stake claim to new territory. Her residence will be somewhere high up in the mountains, for she enjoys the cold, but she would come down during the day to hunt and spread her destruction. While in the Kawani she heard a rumor about the Hunter that killed her parents, he had died pathetically at the paws of another purewalker. She had also encountered a tale about the mare she let live that bloody night. Jadis is fascinated and tempted to have a game of Cat and Mouse with the mare, for she knows who the winner would surely be.

When a mommy and a daddy pure walker, are not mauling each other…
I mean once upon a time, there was a shaman. He was kind and gentle until before something took over his heart. Eventually, now a coyote walker himself, came across Kawani. Hating the happy little town, he bonded his evil magic to an old tree, which now the gate where skinwalkers come from.

Nope! Never, they are evil creatures. They thirst for death and meat and will only group of if there is mutual gain. If there was a ‘couple’ together it’s not out of feelings.


Name: Amphetamine
Temper: Addicting/Hazardous
Personality: A slow killer, one that like the mind games of killing. Almost like a drug (Teehee Amphetamine?), filling her victims to the brim with anxiety and if she can keep it up long enough hopefully some insomnia and hallucinations. ~ It all about having some fun, right? This little kitty in always on the prowl for an interesting and new victim.
Brief History: Fresh from the underworld, or better to say she popped from her basket under the ancient tree that hold all the dark magic of the Skinwalkers. No family around, no friends, only prey. Fresh blood quickly splattering her coat, from the victims that feel before her powerful claws. It wasn’t all so easy, some got away… How disappointing. But over time, the bobcat has honed her skills to her twisted little heart’s desires. Now a deadly force, victims don’t get away. It’s just a manner of how long she allows them to live.
What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Snooping around some teepees checking out if there is any decent game nearby. Sadly nothing has peeked her interest in a while. Amphy is getting hungry.., hopefully something comes along soon.~ Hmm you look sweet.

Purewalkers are the purebreed denizens of the underworld who were born as the evil being that they are. In an ultimate act of desecration, Shaman Oyohusa corrupted a burial ground - taking all the energy from the corpses there and binding it to an ancient tree that grew at its center. That tree is now a permanent gate that some true skinwalkers can use to find their way to this world.


2. Is a Purewalker ever allowed to make a close bond or fall in love with another? If so, what are the exceptions to the rules? If not, what keeps them from such a thing?
No skinwalker can feel love. They can not lifemate and if they do have a specific partner it would not be out of pure feelings. They would not know if they were going to stay together or not. Because of their natures breeding with skinwalkers is exceptionally dangerous. It is often more like a battle or mauling than breeding at all. Though a Purewalker can take a 'pet' that it abuses and forces to mate.


Name: Kaneonuskatew
Temper: Cunning
Personality: Nuska stalks, silent as a shadow, watching, planning. She doesn't just want to hurt her prey, she wants to know them, to know what causes the invisible wounds that linger in the heart. In the end, she wants them to beg her for death. She finds their fears, their weaknesses. She follows them for days, learning, before she ever shows herself. Then with words quicker and more painful than her claws, she separates them from those they thought were their friends. She spends time with something as close to loving dedication as she can mange, her voice sinking into their minds until they know how worthless they are. Then, when they truly wish to die, she slowly, carefully, tenderly carves the flesh from their bodies and feeds. Nuska is convinced this is the sweetest meal ever enjoyed.
Brief History: Nuska spent most of her life in the underworld, honing her hunting and manipulating skills. She prowled the darkness, preying on the weaker, lesser denizens of that tormented place. Then she heard of the gate to the day-lit world. She traveled across a spectral landscape littered with nightmares until she found the tainted tree. It was said that those on the other side did not know pain as those who lived in the underworld fairly breathed its essence. There the hunting would be plentiful and easy. And the flesh of those creatures was said to be of such richness as to fill the belly for weeks at a time. With a wicked smile, Nuska slunk through the gate and into a moonlit graveyard. She would soon discover just how true the words she had heard actually were.
What is this character currently doing in the Kawani? Nuska has found new joy in the hunt. She will stalk her prey for weeks at a time, killing small animals to sustain herself, while she learns of the soquili she intends to destroy. Then, with cunning and guile, she twists them into her play things. Sometimes she spends months molding her new victim into the perfect meal. And, if she finds one she particularly enjoys, she takes her time, eating only sparingly and allowing the poor creature to survive and heal, ever with her words binding it's heart, until she next feeds. Some of her prey last for months before she tires of them and feasts upon their hearts. But even in their dying, they know that she is the only creature who has ever cared for them and she smiles, wicked and sly, so their last sight in the world is her. She knows that each of them carry her with them back into the underworld.
