Character Name: Valthier Edonil'Barra, though he usually goes by Twilight, or Twi. Character Age: 222 years (looks 17). Character Gender: Male-seeming 3rd-gender. Equipment: a cane, shuriken, a pair of kunai, sometimes a wakazashi or other sword. Abilities/Skills/Powers: Shadow Magic, Shamanism, can shift into a Beast-Form. can regenerate health by drinking blood, or by resting in gravesoil or his coffin in the dark. is also a master of Transdimensional Magic, particular Portals. Weaknesses: all powers are based on blood. powerless in daylight, and will burn. can't cross running water. is repelled by strongly presented symbols. can't enter private spaces without permission. is rendered inert when staked through the heart (however, he will become active again if the offending object is removed). Character Personality: Val is a very friendly, outgoing person, and yet he is also very private and guarded. he can be moody, and stubborn, but would never presume to tell a person how to live their life. freedom is the most important concept to him, and he spends his undeath trying to live as freely as possible. Val will not start fights, but will respond to threats with a stern warning first and a swift a**-kicking next, and will violently fight bullying and abuse. he has temper issues, but he means well. Character Background: Val used to be the oldest son of a wealthy and influential Dark Elf Family called House Edonil'Barra. that House is a direct splinter of a Light Elf Family called House Goldleaf. Val was registered for Law School thanks to a deal his family made with top Barton collegiate directors, but he eschewed his parents plans for him and instead ran away to live as a hermit in the woods. it is there that he taught himself magic, and communed with nature to become a Shaman. his connection to the Spirit World and Shadow Realm was strong, and it is speculated that parts of his essence are constantly existing in each of those dimensions. in time, Val (going by the pseudonym "Twilight") re-entered society and tried to make his own living there. he had little luck of his own as an entrepeneur, however he became involved in underground activities and opened up to become a surprising social butterfly. eventually, he inherited large sums of wealth from friends, and spent it on research and construction of his transpacial Mansion. not long afterwards, he became romantically involved with a Vampire in the service of Vlad Tepes. willingly embracing undeath in his adolescence, Twi joined the Von Helsons during their war against Johnny Gambino, but played both sides of the war and ultimately defected to the side of Edmund and Gaia proper. despite the accusations of opportunism and betrayal, Twi proudly wears the emblem of his affiliation to the Von Helsons. Twi has since had a short membership in the Kuro Gang, before being chased out upon the discovery of his undeath. he was married briefly and divorced, and is often found exploring the local art community. Physical Description: Val stands 5'9" and weighs roughly 124lbs. his skin is an ashy dark grey, and his eyes are bright Brown. his body is slender, but broad-shouldered, and a little lean. he is cold to the touch but tends to dress head to toe in dark gloves, long coats and wide brimmed hats. he rarely is seen without shades, or a cig, and always carries a cane, as well as a rosary wrapped around his left hand. he has various scars from his exploits in battle, and wears them proudly. he doesn't necessarily show them off, however. his arms are tattooed with green winding thorny vine sleeves. his silver hair is cut short, though there was a long period of time when it hung low to past his shoulders. Character Gender: female
Equipment: silver and holy wood (primarily ash and rowan) stakes, holy water, various herbals , a double-edged knife a foot long and two inches wide, two daggers, and three guns (idk sizes and types, sorry), various sizes of throwing knives and shuriken , and a myriad of wood and silver crosses ~ all bullets are either Blessed Lead, hollow set to expand/explode filled with Holy Water, or silver and they're always Blessed, every single one
Commonly found in a black ankle-length coat, black or dark blue jeans, black or dark grey shirts and tanktops, and a large-brimmed hat. Also habitually wears gloves and combat boots - black - sometimes adding crosses to her habitual attire like on her knuckles or toes of the boots (it's a different pair). Also always wears a silver cross, despite it weakening her it's a constant presence always with her; she just keeps it off her skin.
Abilities/Skills/Powers: a hybrid, Z is the best of the mix of Vampires and Werewolves ; she's faster, stronger, and has better stamina as well as top-notch senses greater than both species, and an extra graceful flexibility and agility matched only by her ability to be silent. These resistances and strengths are stronger with the more blood she ingests. Also, because of what she is, Z has a sort of compelling beauty and her voice is almost hypnotically enchanting, and her skin's (and nails're) basically impenetrable* like she WAS made of marble
Weaknesses: all of them ; sunlight, holy items and water ; silver ; wolfsbane ; moving water ; bloodthirst and her stubbornness to drink blood weakens her ; *silver, holy items, things with wolfsbane, and vamps/weres are the only things that can cut her <through training and her mixed blood, sunlight drains her energy to be awake in and is like a bad sunburn if skin is exposed too long - after that is when she burns ;; holy items burn her eyes if they have strong faith behind them, otherwise they just drain her as well ;; holy and running water burns away her skin, draining vitality that much faster as well as providing pain/holy water more so than running water ;; silver gives Z a bad rash the longer she's in contact with it ;; and wolfsbane is just about the only thing that can poison her, making her very sick and weak>
Character Personality: Z is usually a negative, grumpy, melancholy b*tch to be around, but she does have a dry sense of ironic humor even at her moodiest. Often accused of pouting and being sadistic, Z prefers to be left alone with her deeply hidden pain and misery of being the monster she sees herself to be, a broken heart the source of her unfriendly attitudes. Antisocial, Z tends to have a sharp tongue, and often gives insults without necessarily having the intention of doing so. Inside, she's actually very sensitive, and easily hurt by peoples' words, but hides it with her uncaring disregard for them even as she cries inside.
Character Background: No one today knows when Z was born, what she was like before becoming a Hunter, or even her full name except for the local Priest Jeffrey, and he doesn't talk much about her past unless she's given him the go-ahead...which has happened once in all the time he's known her. All people might learn today is she was alive during the Great Depression, and was bitten by a vampire in her late teens or early twenties. What she doesn't reveal is her fiancee had been a werewolf, and she had had suspicions but didn't act on them and wasn't even one hundred percent sure until he bit her to stop the poisonous bite from killing her or turning her into the damned Undead. In return, he died when protecting her so she would be saved, his genes diluted from his last gift to her to make his death a more painful and long one. She awoke a week later to find him gone, his body taken elsewhere. Driven half-insane by her new senses to where she had always found refuge, at the local Church, Z found out the whole truth. It was especially driven home when she mindlessly attacked her best friend who she had grown up with in the small city for his blood, and had been able to be sent back with a cross. Gradually coming to terms with her changed status of existence, Z lost whatever happiness she had had when she found her fiancee's torn body prepared for burial.
Believing she no longer has a redeemable soul, or maybe half of a twisted one, she nowadays hunts vampires and the wild werewolves terrorizing the nearby states to try to find redemption. Though she doesn't have thoughts of revenge specifically in mind, she still has plans for what she will do when she finds the one(s) who killed her love and changed her to the monster she feels herself to be. Z is one of the best hunters, probably THE best, due to what she is but she is also shunned for being a hybrid, for being both things of what the people fear and hate...and hunt. Merciless to her enemies, Z never stops training and considers herself alone and friendless, only able to rely on herself when the one time she had shown compassion to a non-human almost got her slaughtered. She only counts Jeffrey the local Priest of a special Church-based order of Hunters as anything like a friend, and only then because they grew up together. But even so she feels like it's too much for him to help her so she doesn't seek his help often, though she can be found accepting special midnight services after every job. Works with him more than the official Hunters' Hall, and so gets more 'goodies' and her weapons are regularly Blessed. Z also has a bounty license so can take Elite-level missions from either group, often alone even if it requires two people.
Physical Description: Long raven wing bangs are kept down the front and sides of her face, while the rest of her hair is cut in layers, the bottom layer barely below her shoulder. Large slanted eyes fill her slim face with a deep blue color that go purple/violet when she 'vamps out' (goes freaky vampire), and her skin is as pale as marble and is as hard as stone to normal weapons. On the skinnier side, her sharp face and perky nose with her sharp chin are predatory, and what scars she had/has are often hidden along with most of her features by her habitual layers of clothing, especially during the day.
On the full moon Z turns into a sleek, over-sized black wolf with blue-violet eyes that are almost black and longer-than normal teeth/fangs, and on the new moon into a grotesque mix of vampire and bipedal werewolf.

Character Name: Sakura Rosina Agnew, but goes by Sakura or Cherry chan. Character Age: 27 (looks to be in her late teens) Character Gender: Female Equipment: Katana, a dagger, dark elf staff, and various essential oils for quick healing. Her earring contains sleeping powder, which is extremely potent. Abilities/Skills/Powers: Mind reading, healing, swordsmanship, on occasion can summon crystals to send messages to friends and allies, a vast knowledge of natural remedies, and the ability to smooth over tense moments. Weaknesses: Sunlight (if not properly protected), her past, seeing others suffer, silver, not feeding like she's supposed to, and dark magic such as the Don and Nyx use. Character Personality: Sakura's personality is hard for most to figure out. While being polite and kind towards others, she also has a coolness that can deflect many from trying to win her friendship. She prefers to keep to herself but will help others if they ask (and sometimes when they don't). She has a set of morals she tries to live by, but doesn't push them on others. If one does manage to become her friend, she will stand by them for life. Character Background: Born to a vampire mother and dark elf father who feared repercussion, Sakura was sent to live with her eccentric (human) cousin in the woods near Dead Man's Pass. There she learned how to fend for herself through martial arts and fencing. She also learned how to survive on her own if the need should arise and became very knowledgable of different plants and trees. When she turned eighteen, Sakura began searching for her parents in hopes they could re-unite. After weeks of talking to different people and searching records, she found the address to her parent's last known address. Three days she traveled, only to find the house had been burned to the ground and no trace of her family was sensed. Consulting with neighbors did no good, and eventually she gave up the search for the culprits. However, fate was on her side. One year later, while working at a local cafe, Sakura managed to overhear her father's last name. Trying her best to listen in, she found that someone called Don Kuro was responsible for parent's disappearance. Forming a quick plan in her head, she appealed to the two dark elves whom had inadvertently given her information, asking if they knew anyone who needed a chef. Again, fate intervened and they took her back to Durem's Underground, where she was promptly hired. She worked without complaint, slowly gathering all the information she could, until one of her closest friends *cough*Faris*cough* was disposed of. During the battle between the vampires and dark elves, she secretly fought on the side of the vampires. Somehow, she has been able to convince all but Cordell that she remains loyal to her clan. Seeking any opportunity to get out of the Underground and into a more civilized area, she keeps her senses alert for any possible means of escape. Physical Description: Sakura is only five feet in height and lean with a good deal of muscle tone. Due to her mixed family, she does have fangs but they are only pronounced when she is angered or has gone too long without feeding (she keeps this a secret from her employer, of course). Her gray-blue skin is relatively smooth and a shade lighter than most of her dark elf kin. Her raven hair is normally groomed into sleek curls, but when she finally escapes, she plans to dye and cut her hair into a keido style. She has a scar on her left leg from her first fencing lesson, but normally keeps it hidden by wearing long pants and skirts.
