[Nefarian] was still on the move. The afternoon was a warm one and though he hated moving about in the day, he was tired of the slew of Maestros Del Mar cubs bothering him. Reigning in his temper was difficult to do, especially with little ones climbing on him or asking him questions. He was not a patient lion, but he was a strong one and he knew he could easily harm the little fluffballs. That was why he was out and about on this afternoon. He was looking for prey.
The run in with the blue, black, and white lioness had rubbed him the wrong way. She spat at him, she insulted him, and she had attacked him... And she had the nerve to call him a demon? He found it all funny and knew he could have killed her, given her handicap, but he let her go anyway. The more he dwelled on her words, however, the more a foul mood took him, despite the grin that was forever etched into his features, due to the lava like markings on his face.
The male was now on the prowl. He had a mission in mind. He wanted a female. If he could, he would capture her and return to the pride with her. Or, at the very least, he would make cubs with her. His own mortality was becoming increasingly aware to himself and he wanted to pass something, anything on to the next generation, should he be taken before he could bring enough havoc to the world. So he moved on, dark paws picking across the dusty, dry earth.

She was sure she was stupid for this venture. She stared up at the sky, taking a deep breath and trying to muster as much courage as was possible. She was scared, and after her last run in with rogue lions, she had been quite content to never go back out into this world. But she needed to do her job, that, and she wanted to have her own cubs. She loved cubs, being a nanny it was one of her greatest loves. However the lack of cubs to watch over had her thinking. She needed to find someone to help her. The lion who had ravaged her, hurt her, had left her mentally wounded. Her body was still the lovely shade of soft blue. The stripes vivid and full of color. She lacked the scars on her body that she felt on the inside. She was still the lovely, albeit mysterious lioness she had always been. Except for her frame of mind.. She took another deep breath, and took another step forward. Come ooon. She had to get out there. Be brave. Be brave. Be brave. A few steps out, and she took to the shadows. She didn't like the sun right now, it was intimidating, and she was feeling particularly vulnerable.

Fortunately for Nefarian and unfortunately for the lioness his ember-like eyes were following, he had spotted her first. He lowered his hefty frame close to the earth, doing his best to blend in despite the darkness of his pelt. She was a pretty thing, body slender and traced with stripes of pale blue and white. He knew the moment that he saw her that he had to have her. She seemed timid, which was perfect. His mind was more on making cubs, not how strong those cubs would prove to be in the future. They could still be fine, even with a timid as hell mother. He didn't plan on meeting them, anyway. He would leave a mark and, hopefully, his father's hatred would pass to his grandchildren.
He inched nearer to the lady, moving slowly, paw after paw, until he was sure he was too close for her to flee without being overtaken. Then, he stood and cleared his throat.
"Good afternoon." Though his words were friendly and he did his best to sound nice, there was an underlying malice, just as there always was.

One of her biggest fears was being surprised. And he had surprised her. She jumped, a squeak leaving her maw before she turned to look at him. His presence made her ears flick back. He was terrifying, and he seemed to have a cruel, demon like features all over his body. And that hint of malice, hadn't gone unnoticed. She was very careful, and always wary. And he had her guard up already. "G-Good afternoon." She said, trying not to let her voice break. She gulped, and stood taller. She didn't want this to be a repeat of her last encounter, and so she tried to make herself look braver than she was.

"Why is such a fine lady as yourself out here all alone?" He tried his best to appear nonthreatening, he really did, but it was almost an impossible thing. He lowered his head slightly, feigning a toothy smile, as his tail flicked to and fro. Okay, so maybe appealing to other lions wasn't his strongest ability, but points for trying? Either way, she was a skittish thing and her voice was trembling as she spoke. He could easily overpower her, of that he was certain, but why spoil a good thing? He liked her fear and fed on it, though should she run, he would chase. The fact that she was doing her best to stand brave and tall was adorable.
"What's your name? Mine is Nefarian. You live near to these parts?" A rumble began in his throat, somewhat of a purr. He'd be back to the pride soon enough, but for now...

Perhaps it was her cautious nature, but Bia still felt threatened. Though she likely would have felt threatened out here no matter what. It was a terrifying feeling, being alone. So much for being brave. She was doing a very poor job of it. He smiled, and she gulped. Something was off about him. She tried to tell herself that she was just being paranoid, but she was unable to convince herself. "I am Sir'Bia." She said, gulping again. "And no." She lied. She lived very close to here, but she was not about to point out her island to a lion that was giving her the creeps. "I'm a t-traveler." She said, nodding.
