POST THIS IN YOUR FIRST POST:
Name of Kid here: Edmund Winchester

Personality: Edmund Winchester is an adventurer, he ain't afraind of nothin. But well...that was with the lights on. His bed is kind of high up, so its hard to get help if he needs it, but that means its harder for the monsters to get him...right?

Wait, no, there aren't monster. Nope. Nada.

He does likes science and adventuring though, and has a fairly active imagination.

The prospect of actually getting a test run as a Trick or Treater was enough to temper the witch's previously unfortunate mood, so it was with a great deal of glee that she snuck into little Edmund's room. She had to be careful as she crawled in through the window mostly because she'd chosen the worst possible place in which to enter a room. It was a slow go as she pulled first her head and chest carefully into the room, then had to awkwardly flail for a moment before she stuck a foot in, follow by her skirt, which had to be gently tugged away from the corners. Once the witch finally made it into the actual room she silently stood there and scolded herself for choosing the jackdamned window. That was really stupid.
With a deep breath she prepared herself to scare the little boil and turned to survey the room.

The bed was not on the floor. In fact, it was hung up high in the room, which gave the witch plenty of room underneath to hide... But it wasn't really hiding if she just stood underneath it. Way to make this difficult kid...
With a pout Belladonna darted into the closet, where she momentarily stood in the dark to think of a plan. Hmmm... With the child so high up in the room, it was difficult to go for any under the bed scares.
Instead the witch reached outside the closet and rattled the little table that most likely served as a bedside table. There! That was kind of scary, right?!

Edmund was no where near sleep. No, his little brain was active with how there was no possible way there were monsters and he was so brave and this was all just stupid. Who cared if he left a little old light on?

He was so focused on monsters though that the sudden noise of the table moving around below him drug out an involuntary shriek...er something had been caught in his throat, that was all. Maybe he had left something on and his parents had come to check...



A bit freaked out he stuck his head out of the ship's opening, looking down at the offending table. The moving curtains caught his eyes and he rubbed at them, sure he had just imagined it. Or maybe the air conditioning had come on and blown them around? Of course there was a reason for everything!

After ducking into the room through the window, Xiu immediately slipped into the toybox, mildly alarmed by all the strange rattling noises in the room. Surely the scareling wasn't still up, were they? But...the lights were off! Carefully, she peeked out from the closet, her shoulders sagging in relief when she realized that the two figures that were present were familiar ones (and more importantly, not humans).

Creeping out of the closet, Xiu offered both of the ghouls a smile and a thumbs up before turning to eye the room. Now, let's see...was the bed up on that giant thing? That certainly made things a little harder, didn't it? But if she could just find something to stand on...

When Bella slammed the drawer door closed, Xiu smiled, giving the witch a thumbs up before quietly jumping up and pulling herself up on the drawer. Could she reach--ah, perfect! If she stretched a hand up, she could just touch the bottom of the ship! Pulling off her glove, she raked her nails against the wood, quietly at first, and increasing in volume and speed. Then she stopped, letting the silence fill the room for a good few seconds before finishing her scare attempt off with a loud THUMP as she slammed both of her hands against the bottom of the bed.

With that, the baku quickly got off and got back into her hiding place, her hands clasped over her mouth to stifle any giggles.

Jove had no trouble slipping into the dark room (after bonking his head against the closed window when he first tried to jump in), and his little nose told him it was already 'inhabited' by other students. None he recognized offhand, but the little foxfire could tell they were from Amityville. His little feet made no noise as he hugged the shadows, and examined the room. It made him a little envious, he wanted a bed up in the ceiling.

He didn't realize there was already someone hiding in the toybox as he slipped his tiny fluffy body in there, until he realized he had landed on something warm and soft and... giggling?

The pup fixed his bright, glowing eyes on Xiu for a minute, and then scrambled back out to have his own fun. Reaching up his ghostly tendrils, he gave the rope bridge a little tug, making it rattle ominously. Then he darted back to the safety of the toybox as though he were afraid of the child above.

Even though he had just turned on the lights and checked, the bridge leading to his bed began rattling. Maybe he had just nudged it with his foot when he had looked out? Still, he was feeling a bit jumpy....

The baku jumped a little when something small and fluffy tumbled into the toybox with her, and she stared back at the foxfire a little curiously, head cocked to the side. Could this be a student and not an ordinary foxfire? He did seem a little familiar, and was rather reminiscent of the boil with the fluffy ears and tail that she had met at prom...

Before she could dwell on the thought for too long, the foxfire had darted out of the toybox, and Xiu pushed the lid up to watch. When he returned to the hiding place, she offered him a grin, giving him a thumbs up. Nicely done!

It was her turn now. Slipping out of the toybox as quietly as she could, she crept over to the ladder that led up to the bridge. Although she knew that she probably looked ridiculous, Xiu made an effort to climb up the ladder in the most exaggerated way possible, intentionally making as much as noise as she could with each rung that she stepped onto, swaying as she tried to make it creak. Once she reached the very top, she grabbed onto the ladder rails, silently slid back down, and scurried back into her hiding place in the toybox.

Jove would have high-fived Xiu had he had hands... or the knowledge of what a high-five meant. That child was truly frightened now!

Feeling more confident by the minute, Jove slipped out of their hiding place for another shot. The little wisp climbed up on the desk the ghouls had used earlier, which was a bit of a silent struggle for a creature so tiny, and from there he used his invisible tendrils to pull his little body up under the bridge. It rustled for a third time, closer to the bed itself than his previous two attempts, and although he must have looked silly with his little feet danging in the air, any noise he made must have sounded like it came from right underneath the bed. Nearly within arm's reach of the little boy.
