AGE Mid to late 20s
OCCUPATION None worth mentioning. Jacob is a nigh-professional gambler, duelist, and a sometimes boxer.
FAMILY Jacob is the eldest son in the Sharpe family and by rights has earned the title of Baron from his father. When his father dies, Jacob will inherit the Sharpe lands and the manor house. He also has a daughter he fathered out of wedlock.
POSITIVES Shrewd, cunning, decisive, resourceful
NEUTRALS Businesslike, well-bred
NEGATIVE Overconfident, arrogant, manipulative, quick tempered
APPEARANCE A man of obviously fine breeding, with strong shoulders and well-muscled arms and a solidly muscular bearing. He appears to be in his early thirties. He has thick, dark chestnut brown hair, full-bodied; most of the time he wears it back in a tail, but from time to time he allows it to hang loose (presumably when he's in the mood to fish for a lady). His brows are thick over surprisingly green eyes. Normally he has a bit of stubble on his chin and jaws. His hands bear a set of silvery scars over the knuckles from an occasional habit of bare knuckle boxing.
He is most often seen in fine clothing, and tends towards coats, high boots, and linen shirts left artfully unbuttoned at the throat. All of his jewelry is of heavy and masculine make, and likely worth a fortune. He usually always has a rapier buckled at one hip. Jacob also tends to wear darker colors: navy, grey, brown, black and deep green.
PERSONALITY Not an entirely honest person, Jacob is rowdy and rough and fearless and masculine. He is also something of a hustler, arranging duels for money, gambling in less than savory dens, and when times are hard (though his perception of 'hard' is ridiculous to nearly everyone else) he indulges in bare-knuckle boxing. He also occasionally participates in more 'noble' and lordly professions, such as hunting and falconing, when he can be stirred to do so.
He is good with people, up to a point, until they grow tired of his ceaseless chatter and his sharp tongue. Jacob is large and physically intimidating, and when he can't back up his words with his fists, he can back them up with money and power and political intrigue. But when so stirred he can -- and has -- charmed the pants off of people. One literal instance earned him a small daughter.
His physical stature is enough to intimidate most people into letting him have his way, but Jacob isn't stupid -- and he knows when to back down and allow others to excel so that he can come back from behind and win against bigger odds.
He hasn't failed -- yet.
SKILLS Jacob is good at fighting, eating, and activities best left behind closed bedroom doors; he is also somewhat incongruously good at keeping a bank book or ledger balanced and can, when the mood strikes him, be a leader of men, delegating tasks to those under him with ease and confidence. This doesn't happen often.

URSA Ursa is rather larger than most female Guardians, with long legs but a strong neck and a barrel chest. She, like her Chosen, is used to getting her way. Ursa is extremely direct, easily offended when it comes to perceived slights of honor, and often comes off as impatient and rude. In the Dreaming, she is quick to action and even quicker to fight.Ursa is also occasionally seen with a small cream-colored bow tied around one ankle, with a little jingling bell at the middle. This is a gift from Jacob's friend Veer, who Ursa actually seems to ... like, and tolerate.
