POST THIS IN YOUR FIRST POST:Name of Kid here: Alexandra Taylor Fear amount of kid: 40 About Alexandra: Alexandra is a curious and imaginative kid. If you let her, she'll tell you all about the adventures her toys have all the time. She likes pink, purple, bunnies, and doing science experiments in the sandbox. She's not sure about monsters. Jimmy says there aren't any, but Sammy doesn't look so sure. She's seven years old, which is really very big, and maybe she shouldn't believe in monsters any more. And anyway, she doesn't want to be a chicken times infinity. Nobody wants to be a chicken times infinity, right?

Xandra crawled under the covers and cuddled Floppy the bunny close. Floppy would help her be brave. She'd decided that she was going to go without a nightlight, and she was going to do it. She'd made up her mind. "Okay Mom. You can turn the light off."
Her mother paused in the bedroom door. "Are you sure, Xandra? You won't have nightmares?"
"I won't have nightmares," Xandra pronounced confidently. Maybe if she said it bravely enough, she'd feel braver. "G'night, Mommy."
"Okay, then. Good night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite." Alexandra's mother switched the light off and closed the door behind her as she left.
The bedroom was very pink and pretty and cheerful during the day, and even at night, with her moon nightlight, it was nice. Xandra knew where all the shadows were supposed to be and the shapes of her things in the dark. But with only the faint light from the streetlight filtering through the curtains, the room seemed a lot scarier and less friendly.
"It's only darkness. There's nothing to be scared of," Xandra whispered to Floppy, and hugged him tight.

Malodore... wasn't really made for skulking about and fitting into tight spaces. Its wings tended to get in the way. But it folded its wings back as tightly as it possibly could and slipped through...
It emerged behind the curtains, which seemed to be extremely.... pink. Actually, everything in this chamber seemed extremely pink. It winced as its metal wings scraped eerily at the window-glass behind it, and its hooves sounded on the wooden floor. Would that alone be enough? It inched the curtain to one side, just enough that it could see bits of the room beyond...

Xandra sat bolt upright in bed, clutching at Floppy and making a tiny little sound like a squeak, not quite enough to be a shriek or a scream. She thought she'd heard something. She thought she'd heard footsteps. "Floppy, did you hear that?" she whispered. Then she changed the register of her voice to high and squeaky. "No, Xandra," Floppy said, and shook his head no, with a little help from Xandra's hand. "It's just the wind. Nothing to be scared of." "But it sounded like footsteps, Floppy," she said in her own voice. "Houses make funny sounds at night sometimes, Xandra," Floppy said firmly. "Let's go back to sleep." "Well, okay." Xandra lay down and pulled the covers all the way up to her ears. "G'night, Floppy."

Spinar slipped sneakily into the very obnoxiously pink room by way of the door, a smile stretching his lips wide as he moved under the desk. Well now how to proceed he asked himself squishing into the small space before uncurling his tail from his waist and using it to fiddle with the knobs of the drawers then thud the point against the wood for a knocking sound, giving off the sound of something either trying to open something in the room or get out of something in the room Bringing his tail back under the table with him, he waited.

...why was this room so pink? Following the frost demon in, she lingered with a heavy level of distaste for the colors. She wasn't here for design tips though... but where to hide...
Seeing that squeezing under the human's bed was so not happening for her here, Agsil instead managed to duck into the closet. Once in, she kept the door open a crack, using one wing to rattle the clothes and hangers within, while she reached out to grab the backpack just outside the door and chuck it hard across the room. And was good to bring her arm right back into the closet once the object went flying. No idea where it was going to land... but hopefully it'd land with a crash?

Slipping through the wall and into the room, Rosy blink a couple of times at the pink color. It wasn't bad, just not her favorite among the shades of red. She was just in time to see the backpack go flying across the room. She didn't even check to see where it came from as she knew that would draw attention rather quickly.
Slipping under the bed, she peeks around to see if she could figure out who was in the room with her. After a moment, she turns her attention back to the task at hand. Looking over the bed, she found herself rather curious as to how she could use this to scare the scareling. Peeking out, she eyes the drawers before a evil idea comes to mind,
Slipping back under the bed, she phased her hands through each of the drawers so they suddenly fly open one right after the other.

Sin could barely believe how PINK this room was, really it was almost too much for the demon ghoul. Pink was a fantastic color for highlights and accents, but this much was overkill. She was pleased to notice a familiar face in the room, Malodore, before she went to hide by the bookshelf.
Sin reached out and started to force the books from the shelves rather forcefully.

That ... that had been a knocking sound. Maybe the footsteps and the knocking were Mom coming to check on her. That would make sense, right? "Mom?" Xandra called out in a normal talking voice. Not loud enough to reach the living room, but loud enough to carry to the hallway if Mom was waiting outside. "Mom, is that you?" Silence. "Maybe she just left," Xandra whispered to Floppy. Brave. She had to be brave. CheekieBirdiee Almost, but not quite ...

Rattle rattle rattle. Rattle rattle ... THUMP! Xandra shrieked, just a little, and pulled the covers over her head. That sound she couldn't explain away! Unless ... unless something had fallen off the top shelf of her closet. "It was just something falling off the shelf," she made Floppy say. "Go to sleep, Xandra." Floppy sounded annoyed this time.

THUNKTHUNKTHUNK - right under her this time - that was the drawers in the dresser under her bed slamming open, and nobody was here to open them. This time Xandra's shriek was a little louder, and was followed by a little whimper. There was no reassuring admonition from Floppy to explain the mysterious noises.

A rapid series of thumps from the bookcase - the books were falling off. For no reason at all. Xandra squeaked, terror keeping her from getting even louder, and scooted up so she could stick her arm out from under the covers, filled with a horrible dread that something was going to grab her, and quickly yanked the chain on the lamp beside her bed. The light clicked on, and everything was quiet. Shivering, Xandra slowly peeked out from under the covers, then leaned a little over the side of the bed to check. The drawers were a little bit open, but maybe she hadn't closed them all the way, and over by the shelf, several books had fallen on the floor, but the rest of the books still on the shelf were tilted and disordered, and maybe they'd just slipped. It was harder to believe that something was creeping around in the shadows when the soft pink glow of the lamp cast a familiar light on her things. Xandra took a deep breath, then another one, and started calming down. "There's nothing here, see?" she made Floppy say. "You're right, Floppy. It was my imagination." Xandra knew that the stories she told weren't real real, though she insisted adamantly otherwise if asked. There was a difference between stories and lying, but both were things that hadn't happened. She halfway forgot when she got really into making things up sometimes, but she knew. She'd gotten all scared because she was imagining things. Yeah. That was it. Just to prove it to herself, she crawled out from under the covers, climbed down the ladder, closed each drawer firmly, and went to pick the books off the floor. She put the books back carefully and pushed the bookend right up against them so they wouldn't fall down again. Then she patted down her nightie, climbed back up into bed, settled down under the covers, and clicked the lamp back off. "Good night, Floppy," she said firmly. "I'm going to go to sleep now." "Good night, Xandra," Floppy answered.

Aw, how cute. The scareling was using some toy to pretend someone was in the room. Besides them.
Not one to give the human any concept that this was, in fact, her imagination--Agsil might have been a little offended that her antics would be anything like that--she reached out of the closet again, this time to grab hold of the glass vase sitting on the dresser. Without any hesitation, she smashed it into the floor a few feet away, followed by slamming the closet door shut as hard as she could. From within, she began throwing some of her weight into the door, banging into it repeatedly. Hm... but what could she go after next...

Oh boy, another pink room. Astra was sure desu would of had a field day with the amount of pink and cutesy things. She herself was starting to reach her limits.
It didn't matter that she enjoyed blue and purple, because they were spooky colors! And black. Black was a good color too.
But enough about furnishings, she had to do some scarying. Upon peeking in from the door, she could see that there were plenty others here all banging and making scary sounds. But what could she do...
Her eyes trailed to the rug on the floor, and her antenna shot up at the idea she had. With a tiny giggle, she darted to the Curtains near the window, where she grabbed the rug on the floor and hoisted it over herself, waving her hands in the air before quickly letting the rug drop and hiding behind the curtains once more.

Rosy grins watching her fear meter go up, rather pleased that her little trick did its job very well. Glancing around, she saw a few of the others and figured it would be best to let them gather fear from this scareling now. Turning, she phases through the wall and onto her next target.
Tonight was a good night.
