HAPPY HALLOWEEEN!
---------------------------------------------- Yes, it's that time of year again!! Hallowe'en is special to us because, as you all know, it's when we all first got together during the 2009 event. 4laugh
But more than that, I don't know if any of you know this, but I actually joined gaia on this account during a Hallowe'en event several years before that. I just calculated how long ago it was, and found it's very very nearly my FIFTH Gaiaversary!Why is Hallowe'en special to you guys? What are you going to dress up as this year? What have you dressed up as in the past?I'm not doing anything this year irl, but look - my avatar's a butterfly!~ heart
Oh! And I also wanted to offer to do something special for you guys if you wanted it. I got the idea from some other site, I can't remember where now, but they were talking about having fortune tellers at Hallowe'en parties and I thought OMG, what a great idea!! Somehow I never made a direct connection between Hallowe'en and tarot reading, because it's always been a part of my life during every season of the year, but for everyone else - what a great opportunity!
So, I'm offering to do free distance readings for whoever wants them!
No limits, no holds barred~ As long as you're a guildie, of course ;D Easiest thing to do is just say what you want to hear from the universe about - let's say, romance, work, or just a general reading - and I'll consult the cards on your behalf. If you have a specific question, go ahead and ask that, but be aware that they aren't very good at yes or no questions, so stay away from "Should I have toast for breakfast?" kind of things.

Can anybody identify more of the shopkeeper costumes than me and Kyle did?Lorika Ian = THE DOCTAR Mintaka and Rigel = Mulder and Scully Louie = ...He reminds me of the butler from Black Butler. Might be wrong though Sasha = Whatsherface from Avatar: The Last Airbender Carl = The weird bear thing from One Piece Brennivin = Gumshoe from Phoenix Wright, or as I identified him - "That detective from that series." I'm so good at this you guys look at me go Ruby = Power Girl Peyo = PEYO WITH A DUCK I.E HIS IDEAL DREAM STATE OF BEING Cresento = Loki Vanessa = CATWOMAN!! MIAOOOOW Stein = Van Gogh The Wing Scouts = Creepy children, no different to usual. Kyle suggested they're from Children of the Corn. Rina = SAILOOOR MOOOON!Lorika: A BUTTERFLY! (On Gaia, anyway) DocSilverblade: Clint Eastwood, I hope. He can carry a chair around with him and grill the president at random points during the evening. Though UNFORTUNATELY he's also contemplating a few other things, which is extremely disappointing because this one is the best costume in the history of forever. Hana: CATWOMAN! (on gaia)

And Sam is... that girl mouse mechanic from Rescue Rangers? God, it's an old show. I don't even know if that would be right?
But yes, my avi is totally Cat Woman for Halloween~
I kinda haven't even read up on the event. is anyone paying it attention? Is it fun?

I have no idea on the mouse mechanic, but it very well might be. They're not above referencing really old stuff... as proven if Nic is Huck Finn XD Josie looks like something maybe Mass Effect-y...? And no, I really havent been paying attention... except that it seems you ave to post in the forums and then attack yoru enemies and heal the people on your side. ...Since my avatar is a dark elf but I'm on the Von Helson side I can see people getting confused about me LMAO

Sam's costume is definitely Gadget from Rescue Rangers. I used to watch that cartoon when I was a kid.
@Lorika: I might be interested in one of the distance readings you mentioned... aside from picking a topic (I'll do General for starters), do I have to do anything for it?

At the end of the day tarot readings cannot tell you what to do, but they can illuminate things and give good advice. 4laugh Yeah, I usually read my friends over msn, though I have read strangers a couple of times and no matter the circumstances, I'm always accurate. It's high-stress for me though because I have no confidence in my abilities sweatdrop

One relationship advice reading coming right up! I've used a particular spread once or twice in the past that I liked a lot. However, I can't remember exactly what it looked like now, though I CAN remember the gist of what it was aiming to see. So I've drawn up a new one inspired by that for you:

^ Uhhh that was supposed to look a lot... less wonky than that. I could add an extra two cards which go into specifics about what you expect from the relationship and what he expects form the relationship. Actually that might be useful, because I've heard from you but not from him... okay, so it's either going to be a seven or nine card spread, probably nine since I think that's a good idea.
NOTE: Gaia is stupid and doesn't seem to accept the use of spaces to make things into a proper layout. Whatever, you get the idea from that up there.

I'm so sorry. It's the anniversary of your mother's death, isn't it? (I was going to post a condolence message on your profile but since you posted here I just thought I'd reply...) If you'd like to talk about her we're here for you. <3 I'd love to know more about her personally, she seems like a beautiful person from what I've seen on your profile. She had a lovely smile :] I'll get on a reading for you. I've had a very taxing day but I'll do my best and try to get it done within the next hour or so. I'm trying to decide if I should do a general reading like I did for Red or do a more specific spread. My reasoning is that a general reading will tell you more about yourself and the influences around you, and possibly an indication of where you're headed. I consider readings specifically about the future unreliable, even dangerous, because the cards can only show glimpses of what MIGHT happen IF you remain on your current course of action. People's lives can change very quickly, within seconds of a reading, even, you know? And building up hopes for a future that might not happen will probably result in disappointment. That said, I could do two readings for you - one focusing on your relationship, the other perhaps a twelve-card spread for the upcoming year. I think that's what I might do. =] UPDATE: I dont know if I'll be able to get them both out tonight, because I'm feeling too drained. Don't worry though, I'm still doing my best!
