FORT WORTH -- A 33-year-old man who pleaded guilty this week to killing a 15-year-old Timberview High School student told two Tarrant County jail inmates that he killed her because a test revealed that she was pregnant and she refused to get an abortion. http://www.dfw.com/mld/dfw/news/14008179.htm?source=rss&channel=dfw_newsThsi is so disturbing. More proof that abortion is used to cover up the crimes of sex offenders.

Hmmm...I knda agree with respecting the intergirty of "Doctor/pascient confodentiality" but I also support gogin into the files to see exactly what was said since this Taylor person won't say. Honostly, if its nothign bad, the person has nothign to hide. The level of insetence of this doctor to resist the investigation and out right stop it does raise some questions for me, but I'm not gogin to make any acusations yet.

The thing is, a social worker is under obligation to report any instance of child abuse to the athorities. If she knew that the father of the child was 27, she was legally obligated to infrom the police. The girl was only 14.. I mean that's what 8th grade?

Its between 8th and 9th, yes. And stachatory rape is considered a form of child abuse. You're absolutly right, the social worker was obligated to inform the police, by law. That just raises further questions.

Another one? Jeez, I hear about too many of these. That's one reason I'm getting myself to a state where my child's protected by parental consent laws as much as can be, once I'm a mother. Or Norway. Norway's sounding better and better.

If I ever have a daughter, I'm gogin to bring her up right. I'm gogin ot teach her to have respect for he rown body, and if she becomes pregnant, to have respect for the body she helped create. She will be raised knowng that child in the womb is a human life, and that it's just as precious and valuable as any other born human being.

ah...the man who did that would be pro-choice. of course, the choicers would not let themselves look bad, they will not take credit for his actions, though they are quick to call us clinic-bombers... since when are our less than noble acts attributed to us solely, while theirs they push under the carpet?

She will be raised knowng that child in the womb is a human life, and that it's just as precious and valuable as any other born human being. That doesn't help, though, if she's raped by a man, or if an older man "seduces" her, and then goes on to try and force her to get an abortion. One thing about teaching your children is, they are more likely to listen to a close friend then their parents when they get older. Once they've become disilussioned with the idea that their parents know everything.

i would try to teach as soon as possible, the truth of everything- no bias, no lies, no bullshit. she asks where babies come from, then she's going to find out- not all technical and confusing, but not "um...uh... well...STORK DID IT!" either. i intend to explain sex, childbearing, procreation, war, anything which she wants to know, without any trace of delusion or fallacy- screw sugarcoating, it only leads to fools in the future content in believeing that everything is fine and dandy, those who find it easier to dehumanize than understand.
it is a relatively unheardof raising techinque, but i want my kid to know the truth, harsh, simple, good, or bad. i'm sick of kids being taught only the good side of everything, that is not reality, and it can only lead to confusion later in life- "why is this not as easy as i assumed?" "why do people kill eachother over this, i thought everyone was supposed to share"- i believe, honestly, that this bombardment of truth upon adulthood is the cause of much depression- once the dream shatters, they cannot deal with the reality and break.

I don't mean parents lying about things. I mean parents simply not knowing everything, or having one opinion when someone else they respect has another. Also, I think it would be very bad to teach kids things like that too early. I definitely will not withhold information should my kids ask me. And after a certain point, I'll tell them myself. But I'm not just going to sit them down and teach them about things like that when they are, say, 7.

"And then the man puts his....and then she...and then they..."
Andy's right though. In this case, the girl refused the abortion and it didn't do anything for her except get her killed.
Telling your daughter things isn't going to do any good if she goes out and has sex with guys who don't share her values. Things like this happen. Thankfully, it usually doesn't end up in the girl dying, but a lot of cases end with the unborn child dying.
