Roll an Eight: City Streets Field: Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road are sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there. Fake building walls, complete with broken glass windows and grime lining the surface, limit the amount of maneuverable space on land. Trash cans and trash bags decorate the street. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air which, unfortunately, helps spread the horrible stench of the trash. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to POISON type attacks.
Kytti entered the arena and the nasty smell assaulted her nostrils. "This place stinks, but we should be ok," Kytti thought to herself. Willow gave a cautious glance towards her trainer and bleated. "It's ok Girl, we can get through this." Kytti replied softly.
Zeke frowned as he entered the stadium, though not towards his opponent. It was the arena that bothered him, but it seemed as if the girl he was against had the same sort of thought. "Nasty arena they gave us, isn't it," he commented, giving his opponent a slight bow.
"Come on out, girl!" He tossed up the pokeball, freeing the Swablu. She circled in the air above him, and then landed, waiting patiently in front of the purple haired boy.
It wasn't long before the battle started, and the boy decided that perhaps he should start things off with a bang. Or rather some poison.
"Alright, Thmei, let's start this out with Toxic." The move felt as if it fit with the arena given, and if it hit, it'd give them a great advantage. He had learned from the last battle he was in to take every advantage as he could, and if that meant poisoning another's pokemon, so be it. He'd offer them an antidote as soon as it was over.
The Swablu shrieked, releasing a cloud of purple gas out of her mouth that slowly moved towards the deerling.

For my notes: Toxic [Poison] - Roll two 4-sided dice in order to try to poison your opponent. First dice determines if it hits or not; 1-2 = miss, 3-4 = hit. Second dice determines how long the condition lasts, 1 = 1 turn, 2 = 2 turns, etc. (Count only your opponent's turn for the countdown)

Willow narrowly dodged the attack, and charged towards the Swablu. "That's it Girl, use your Wild Charge!" Kytti cheered. Willow started to spark with lightning as she charged towards the opponent.

Oh, how he despised electric attacks. The last battle he had been in had involved electric attacks as well, and while he could understand, it didn't mean that he had to like it. "Thmei, let's use Air Cutter!"
With a trill, she crossed her wings in front of her body, and then opened them rapidly, shooting multiple light blue 'x' shaped energy towards the deerling.
"That's the way to do it, girl."

Willow barely dodged out the of the way and bleated. She sparked to life again and wildly charged in towards the Swablu. "Good choice Girl!" Kytti cheered.

With a successful hit of Air Cutter, and Thmei's dodge of the Deerling's attack, the boy was feeling a tad better about the whole thing.
"Try Toxic again!"
If it didn't work this time, he would take it as a sign that he wasn't meant to use it in this battle, and would pull out one of Thmei's other moves to use instead.

Willow dodged the incoming toxic sludge and bleated. She again charged in, her fur crackling with electricity. "Way to go Willow!" roared Kytti.
