RULES
1. No god-modding.
There are no such things as god like characters. You can’t escape every battle without a scratch, and you can’t defeat others with a single attack. More importantly you can’t, for example, “Stab John Smith through the chest.” Or say things that directly affect another person’s character unless you’ve agreed with the other member beforehand. To not god-mod, you have to be suggestive with your attacks. For example, “He thrusts his sword towards John Smith’s heart.”
If at any point you are unclear about god-modding, feel free to ask a Moderator. Also if you experience any case of god-modding, ask that member to change their post. If the problem continues please report the problem to a Moderator.
2. Power differences
Not everyone can be the fastest or the strongest so we ask that members keep that in mind when fighting against others. The leaders of the races will always be the strongest of that race.
BUT, strength isn’t everything! Allot of it is strategy and planning as you look for ways around your opponent’s attacks. We expect that all members to be able to fight according to their characters rank and skill level. If a stronger character attacks your character, there’ll be a greater chance of injury. If you attack an older more experience character, there’ll be a greater chance of them being able to block/counter your attack. Everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses, so please roleplay accordingly.
3. Killing
NOBODY of whatever rank can kill another person’s character without their permission. The only exception is if that member has been banned, or if they kill off that character themselves.
4. Respect
Please respect the moderators, and other members of the guild. Keep any arguments you have with other members away from the roleplay. If you have any serious problems report it to a Moderator. We also ask that all members don’t bully, insult or unnecessarily turn against one another. What we roleplay doesn’t reflect who we are as people!
Moderators have the final say when it comes to disputes or arguments, and it’s expected that you respect what they have to say in guild related matters. If you have a problem with a particular Crew member, please report it to the Vice Captain or the Captain of the guild.
5. Literacy
Please post a minimum of 3-5 sentences, and keep the content literate and realistic. We ask that you don’t use any chat speak, and only use slang if that’s how your character normally talks. When it comes to writing posts, use a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence and a full stop at the end. As for speech use these handy little speech marks, “ ” , so we know your character is talking.
As for content within a post, please keep in mind your characters rank and abilities. Also if you’re struggling to create 3-5 sentences, remember to add in what a person is seeing, feeling, touching, smelling, and hearing. Also you could describe your characters appearance, clothing, the area around them, the weather etc. Give your fellow roleplayers something they can respond to, there’s no such thing as too long a post!
6. The Rules of Rules
